Schedule A- Drain and other land development work Supplying and fixing U-shaped precast drain with cover of size 630x570x500mm with M-40 or higher grade manufactured by M/s Super Precast & Infrastructure or equivalent approved brand.
Construction of open drain of size 3m clear width at top, 1.8m width at bottom and 0.6m clear depth- Brick pitching with cement concrete bricks of grade M10 or higher grade using cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 Sand ) over the existing drain. The rate inclusive of earth excavation, surface dressing, laying of 10cm thickness of sand, pointing etc complete. The brick should be laid in stretcher bond to get a minimum thickness of 115mm for brick pitching. Use of Geocells in road pavements Providing and Laying a layer of three dimensional cellular confinement system, "Strataweb GEOCELL, made of asonically-welded HDPE strips, which acts as a subgrade / subbase improving reinforcement mat for road pavements. Weld distance of each cell = 356mm, Depth of Cell = 150mm. Rates are exclusive of excavation of any existing layers, surface dressing & infilling of geocells with GSB material.
Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retroreflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.
Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective overhead signage boards made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTM-D-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-incharge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (length of finished kerb edging shall be measured for payment). (Precast C.C. kerb stone shall be approved by Engineer-in-charge).
Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/-5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the Mmanufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Fabric roof Supplying and erecting Tensile structure roofing for tree pods as per the approved design and the structure to be designed, fabricated and installed as per relevant Indian Standard norms. The canopy shall be designed for as per the wind speed prevalent in that area as per I.S. 875-Part 3. The steel structure shall be designed as per I.S. 800. The steel fabrication and erection shall be as per I.S. norms. The membrane shall be designed and fabricated as per European norms for design and practices. The rate quoted for the structure should be on area covered by canopy and the rate inclusive of design, preparation of detailed structural drawing duly proof checked from 3rd party with prior approval from from by IITM, approval from IITM, supply and installation of canopy as per the approved design etc. complete. The rate inclusive of providing necessary anchour fastener for fixing the cantilever trusses to the existing building. Scope of the work includes Design, Engineering Patterning, Fabricating, supply and installation of tensioned membrane structure as per the approved drawing and specifications attached. The membrane should be of PVC Coated Polyester membrane Mehlar or Ferrari of 950 GSM. The membrane Cutting, Seaming and HF Welding as per Euro-standards. The clamping systems, if required, with sectionalized aluminium profiles and kedar-incorporated edges or cable catenary edges. The Steel work Design & Analysis done by STAAD used in conjunction with Forten32, shop drawings and other details by CAD software. The rate should include supply/fixing/anchoring of the base plates. The primary supporting steel structure will be made out of MS Structural steel tubular sections (Yield Strength over 240). The rates should also inclusive of applying anti-corrosion treatment followed by two coats of priming with anti rust epoxy primer followed by two coats of epoxy paint for steel structures. All cables(if any) will be dry hot dip galvanized. All necessary secondary steelwork like corner plates, lugs, and clamping plates shall be pre-engineered & fabricated by CNC / Laser cutting machines, and appropriately finished. The membrane Form finding And Patterning achieved by Computer based Finite element and membrane used for the structure. The anchour fasteners if used shall be of Hilti Stainless Steel anchor faster of appropriate size. Payment for the structure will be made based on the plan area of the structure including projections.
Supplying and filling of quarry dust in layer not exceeding 20cm and watering each layer thoroughly with consolidation and ramming etc., complete for basement and in foundation.

Schedule D - Gate Modification works Dismantling the existing gates and allied structures carefully without damaging the IITM name plates, Emblem, Steel gates and railings (In gate Left wing wall, Out Gate completely, security shed in In Gate, cycle parking shed, bus waiting shed ) and disposing the debris outside the campus. Dismantling shall be done after carefully removing the IITM name plate and emblem & steel gates and the same shall be handed over to IITM. Other materials obtained shall be disposed by the contractor.
Boring with hydraulic piling rigs with power units, providing and installing cast in situ single under reamed piles of specified diameter and length below pile cap in M-25 cement concrete, to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of boring with bentonite solution and the length of the pile to be embedded in pile cap etc. all complete. Providing and fixing dry cladding upto 10 metre heights with 30mm thick gang saw cut stone with (machine cut edges) of uniform colour and size fixed to structural steel frame work and/ or with the help of cramps, pins etc. and sealing the joints with approved weather sealant as per Architectural drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (The steel frame work, stainless steel cramps and pins etc. shall be paid separately).(Note : The granite colour and pattern should match with the existing granite wall caldding available at main gate)
Providing and fixing structural steel frame (for dry cladding with 30 mm thick gang saw cut with machine cut edges sand stone) on walls at all heights using M.S. square/ rectangular tube in the required pattern as per architectural drawing, including cost of cutting, bending, welding etc. The frame work shall be fixed to the wall with the help of M.S. brackets/ lugs of angle iron/ flats etc. which shall be welded to the frame and embedded in brick wall with cement concrete block 1:2:4 (1 cement :2 coarse sand :4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) of size 300x230x300 mm, including cost of necessary centring and shuttering and with approved expansion hold fasteners on CC/RCC surface, including drilling necessary holes. Approved cramps/ pins etc. shall be welded to the frame work to support stone cladding, the steel work will be given a priming coat of Zinc primer as approved by Engineerin- charge and painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint (Shop drawings shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-charge for approval before execution). The frame work shall be fixed in true horizontal & vertical lines/planes. (Only structural steel frame work shall be measured for the purpose of payment, stainless steel cramps shall be paid for separately and nothing extra shall be paid).
Providing and fixing adjustable stainless steel cramps of approved quality, required shape and size, adjustable with stainless steel nuts, bolts and washer (total weight not less than 260 gms), for dry stone cladding fixed on frame work at suitable location, including making necessary recesses in stone slab, drilling required holes etc complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing edge moulding to 18 mm thick marble stone counters, Vanities etc., including machine polishing to edge to give high gloss finish etc. complete as per design approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Granite work.

Providing and fixing M.S. grill gate as per the exising pattern available at main gate, IITM of required pattern in frames of windows etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. including priming coat with approved steel primer all complete. Fixed to openings / wooden frames with necessary hinges/ fittings etc.
Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-incharge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).
Removing the existing IITM emblem and Name plate carfully from the left wing wall of the In Gate and refixing the same after polishing and necesary repair if any in the new wall proposed to be cosntructed for out Gate.
