Fabrication and installation of Kapoorpur escape gate on water distribution channel D10 from Kapoorpur head gate towards international border at RD 19000 of MRC.

Fabrication and installation of Kapoorpur escape gate on water distribution channel D 10 from Kapoorpur head gate towards international border at RD 19000. Fabrication of leaf structure of size 48 inches x 36 inches(approx) using the ISMC 75channel size with vertical &horizontal cross members for support by way of cutting /welding using superior quality electrodes. The leaf of the gate should have threenumber vertical supports and three number horizontal supports welded together to form the frame. The MS sheet of 5 mm thickness needs to be welded over the fabricated frame of ISMC 75 channel. Making of provision for stem rod attachment with 2 no. L-shaped MS Clamps.Providing, fabrication and fitting of 1 no. stem rod MS bar of length as per the site conditionsand thenturning, threading, finishing to the original size. Fabrication of outer frame 66 inch x 64 inch of gate for up and down moment of gate using ISMC 100 channel or angle iron welded together to form. The outer frame should consists of two side channels for up and down moment of gate, bottom sil beam and two channels on top to support the weight of winch machine and gate.Fabrication of side concrete structure on both side of escape channel. Fabrication of grooves as per size of ISMC 100 channel in concrete structure using hammer and chisel. Then outer structure of the gate have to be fitted in walls of channel with cement and concrete mixture ratio of 1:3:6. Fabrication, providing & fitting of 03 Ton capacity manually operated, worm gear type winch machine along with base plate of 8 mm thickness.Oiling and greasing the gear and bearings mechanism before fitting. Providing and fitting of rain pipe over the winch machine to secure the stem rod and machinery. Loading the gate structure along with winch machine on the carriage vehicle for carrying to site of installation. Unloading the gate structure at road side then shifting to the site of installation. Installation of gate structure by way of lowering the leaf structure into the sliding grooves using manual labour, tools and tackles using chain pulley block and tripod/crane. Drilling requisite no. of holes in hoisting channels at site. Fitting of winch machine on the supporting channel and connecting the stem rod to the leaf structure after ensuring the proper alignment/gravity of the gate structure. Complete painting of gate structure with coats of red oxide primer and superior quality enamel paint (Asian paints/ KansaiNerolac paints/ Berger paints) using proper colour code i.e. blue and black paint. Complete job includes cost of material, transportation charge, labour charges and testing for its smooth operation at site, cost of sand bags for stopping the flow of water in escape channel during the period of execution of work.
