Removing and Cleaning of Expansion/ Dummy/ construction joints with steel hook and cleaning dust/dirt and loose material with wire brush and air blower, tools and machinery all complete i/c disposal of dismantled material including all lead and lift inside AAI, premises, as per direction and satisfaction of engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying backer rod of size 25 mm dia in the joints of 20 mm width all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying backer rod of size 15 mm dia in the joints of 10-12 mm width all complete as per specification & direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying in position polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS 11433-1995, in expansion / Construction / dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joints to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-inCharge & particular specifications. [Note : For purpose of payment, quantity (Length X Width X Depth) of sealant in cucm only will be measured & work shall be executed by authorized applicator]

Preparing the damaged edges of expansion, construction and dummy joints all along the concrete panels : A. Proper making of edges by cutting, chipping, removing and cleaning all unsound/weak concrete material either at one side or both side of joints of pavement up to required width and depth as per specification/I.S code or direction of Engineer-in Charge. B. Making edges of joint either at one side or both side with High strength fast setting polymer based cementitious grout (40MPa in 24 hours and 70MPa in 28 day) after application of Primer of Sika, STP,BASF,Pidilite,STP or as per approve make, Accept traffic after 4 hours after pouring. Primming by Nylon stiffen brush, use glass panes shuttering board in-to joints for finishing as per the size suiting different sizes and finishing/texturing top surface as per specification etc. all complete with materials and machineries as per specification and direction of Engineer-in Charge. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning]

Re-surfacing of rough concrete surface panel by applying Fiber Reinforced Thixotropic Repair Mortar Choksey,Sika,STP or as per approve make (High strength (20MPa in 24 hours and 50MPa in 28 days) structural concrete repair mortar for self leveling and patching) followed by primer coat ( Primer of Choksey/Sika/STP/BASF/Pidilite or equivalent make). A. Surface preparation : Rough concrete panel surface shall be cleaned properly by mechanical means and use blower to remove all type of dirt, dust, oil & any contaminants to make the strong bond. B. Resurfacing of the damaged top surface by procurement and application of the appropriate construction chemicals in the existing composite pavements of the without violation of the NOTAM Rules and disposal of debris within Airport premises etc all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in Charge. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator, Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning ]

Supplying of sealed packed Elastomeric concrete compund (Flex-O-Patch of Choksey chemicals/ Delpatch of D.S Brown/Pidilite/Sika or equivalent approved make) at site. The one pack of 10 kg Elastomeric concrete shall consist of 3 kg hardner 1.5 kg base & 5.5 kg of sand & fibre powder. The material supplied will not be more than two months of the manufacture date. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator]

Supplying of primer of Choksey/D.S Brown/Pidilite/Sika or equivalent of approved make for Elastomeric concrete compound at site. The material supplied will not be more than two months of the manufacture date. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator]

Repairing of damaged portion of rigid pavement with Elastomeric concrete compound (Flex-O-Patch of Choksey chemicals/ Delpatch of D.S Brown/Pidilite/Sika or equivalent) after marking, cutting, chipping the pavement up to required size by using mechanical chippers/cutters, side locking on the vertical face, cleaning the prepared area by sand blasting with medium grit sand, including disposal of dismantled material with all lead and lift inside AAI, premises and masking both side & pouring the compound, finishing & texturing complete as per manufacturer specifications and the direction of EIC with required machines & tools. [Note: The rate quoted shall be exclusive of cost of Elastomeric concrete compound & Primer work shall be executed by authorized applicator & Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning].

Providing and injecting approved grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/honey-comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump at required pressure including cutting of nipples after curing etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment shall be made on the basis of actual weight of approved grout injected.) Epoxy injection grout in concrete/PQC work of approved make. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator & Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning]

Repairing of cracked slab by stampling procedure consisting of marking the position of vertical holes of 30mm dia at a distance of 225 mm from the crack at a spacing of 600 mm from centre to centre, drilling the holes of 30 mm dia at a miximum depth of 150 mm (D/2) there after cutting the slit of 30mm widths of a depth of 100 mm (D/3) followed by removal of debris and cleaning the holes and slit, roughening the sides of holes and slits by sand paper, inserting the steel bars of (grade Fe 415) 16 mm dia and filling the holes and slit with an epoxy resin -based bonding system of approved make such as Sika, Fosroc, STP, Pidilide, BASF upto 10 mm above the top surface of steel bar including disposal of dismantled material with all lead and lift inside AAI, premises. Above this level nonshrinkable fast setting polymer based cementious grout shall be filled up to the top level of PQC after applying epoxy bonding agent at the sides of the groove. A groove shall be made along the line of cracks displaying spalling and filled with Epoxy injection grout all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in Charge. [Note: The rate quoted shall be exclusive of cost of Epoxy injection grout and epoxy mortar paid separately & work shall be executed by authorized applicator & Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning ].

Providing and laying in position epoxy mortar of Sika,Fosroc,STP,BASF,Pidilite or as per approved make, in pots hole including cleaning of pots holes with high pressure air blower, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of epoxy mortar and applying two coat epoxy at top after setting of epoxy mortar for finishing and better bonding including all tools and machineries etc all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in Charge. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator & Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning]

Providing and laying hot straight run bitumen of grade VG - 10 mixed with Coarse sand and 6mm stone (1 Bitumen:1 Coarse Sand:1 6mm stone) over glass grid in Joints, Pots holes and patch repair in Rigid/Flexible pavement including heating the bitumen, cleaning and preparing the existing surface as per direction and satisfaction of engineer-in-charge. (Note: For Payment purpose Qty. of Bitumen VG-10 measured in Kg only).

Mechanically cutting construction joints 10mm wide x 25mm deep including all tools and machineries with fuel etc. including disposal of dismantled material including all lead and lift withis AAI premises all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in Charge. [Note:Work shall be executed by authorized applicator & Concrete pavements should be clean and dustfree for Aircraft movement, nothing extra will be paid for cleaning]

Demolishing cement concrete by mechanical means after making separation true vertical plumb line both sides of cracks/ joints or perimeter of the cc portion to be demolished by electric operated cutter machine and therafter using heavy duty concrete breaking machine at suitable location to the minimum depth of 150mm in the existing CC panel to demolish the CC up to full depth of the panel. including disposal of material within AAI premises as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix). (Note :- Payment shall only be made for the CC demolished in full or part thereof the panel).

Cement concrete 1:1.50:3 (1 cement : 1.50 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 10, 20 & 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete. Note-Compaction shall be done with needle vibrator and screed vibrator. The panel shall be made with C-Channel of the full height of concrete to be laid and floater mahine will be applied there upon and proper texture will be made with brooming. Initially Mechanically cutting of dummy joints 3mm wide x 1/3rd thickness shall have to cut. Subsequently groove cutting as per dummy / construction/expansion joints will be done 10mm width x 50mm deep as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and Noting extra shall be paid for performing these activity.

Supplying and mixing / adding micro-concrete (20MPa in 24 Hours and 60 MPa in 28 days) of Choksey / DS Brown / Pidilite/Sika/STP or equivalent of approved make in cement concrete 1:1.50:3 (1 cement : 1.50 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate 10, 20 & 40 mm nominal size) in pavements @ 50 kg/Cum of cement concrete for high strength and fast setting including machineries and manpower etc, all complete as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and Noting extra shall be paid for performing these activity.
