Up-gradation, strengthening of suction pipeline and providing / fitting of control valves at lift irrigation station Pandorian.

Up-gradation of damaged and washed-out suction pipelines of pumping unit no. I and II installed at Lift irrigation station Pandorian. Providing / fitting of 400 mm MS pipe of 40 ft length (approx.) up to the suction sump. Loading of pipes from place of storage to carriage vehicle using hydra crane and manual labour and transporting to the lift irrigation station. Unloading at road side using hydra crane and manual labour and shifting of pipes to lift station on head load. The suction pipe is to be fitted and divided as per alignment of suction lines at site. Providing, fitting and welding of 400 mm diameter MS flanges. Total number of 400 mm diameter plate flanges required for the complete job is 10 nos. Fabrication of MS bends out of 400 mm dia pipe with angle as per site alignment. The welding on all flanges should be double layered and leak proof. Providing and fitting of hexagonal nuts, bolts and rubber gaskets required for the job. The job includes laying and realigning of MS Pipeline from suction side of pumping units to sump tank of the lift irrigation station. Painting the suction pipeline by first scrubbing the surface with sand paper of proper abrasive grade to remove all the dirt and make the painting area smooth and then painting with one coat of red oxide primer and waiting for the it to dry. Then applying two coats of high-quality enamel paint (Asian / Nerolac / Berger). Providing and fitting of 1 no. heavy duty cast iron flanged foot valve of appropriate pressure rating for pumping unit, the door face should consist of rubber with reinforcement of cotton canvas, after replacing existing damaged foot valve by cutting rusted nuts and bolts with gas cutting at intake source. Providing and fitting of 1 no. heavy-duty 300 mm diameter flanged sluice valve of appropriate pressure rating with cast iron body, dome, wedge and steel spindle, rubber gaskets for pumping unit after replacing damaged sluice valve on delivery side of pumping unit. All the cutting and welding jobs shall be performed by highly skilled welders using high quality superbond electrodes. Complete job includes cost and carriage of materials i.e. MS pipe, foot valve, sluice valve, welding set hire charges, welding electrodes, gases used for cutting, skilled and semi-skilled labour used etc. Complete job. Note: - The Tenderers are requested to visit the site and quote the rate as per site conditions. Any modifications / alterations of the job, felt necessary if required at the time of actual execution may be done as per actual site conditions. The firm should offer rebate on old MS pipes, nuts, bolts etc.
