S/E of 6Mtr. Long Galvanized Steel Octagonal Pole:- Supply of 6 mtr. long hot dipped galvanized octagonal pole cross- section continuously tapered made out from high tensile steel of minimum thickness 3mm complete with the base plate of minimum size 220mmx220mmx12mm along with inbuilt juntion box having connectors of Elmax/ Connectwell/ Essen/ Wago make for the cable termination and two or three terminals and one no. 6 amps Single pole MCB 10K C series rating (L&T, Legrand, ABB, Seimens, Scheneider) for each luminaire. The Junction box cover is to be welded with an extra steel strip ring around the pole for prevention of Junction box cover from theft. The octagonal pole should have bottom diameter of 130 mm A/F and top diameter of 70 mm A/F.The size of the poles and foundation bolts shall be suitable to withstand the maximum wind speed/ pressure as per IS-875 (PART 3) : 2015. There should be no any circumferential welding on the pole as per IS 10178: 1995/ IS 9595: 1996. The material of the pole shall comply with as BSEN-10025 2004/ IS 2062: 2011 grade 355 or equivalent. Poles should be hot dipped galvanized in single dip to 65 microns min conforming to IS2629-1958/BSEN ISO 1461: 2009. The material and specifications of fiange plate/base plate shall be as per IS 2062: 2011 Grade 355. The design of Octagonal pole should confirm to IS 875 Part 3: 2015 IS 800: 2007/ IS 6533 : 1989 (P-2). The design safety factor for the pole should be as per ILETR-7. The street light poles shall be erected in the existing RCC foundation with 4 nos. special foundation bolts 'J' type miniuum M20X600MM long J type duly threaded in existing RCC foundation of suitable size as per the approved drawing. The material of steel foundation bolts shall be confirming to grade EN-8 expposed threaded portion of foundation bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized. The octagonal pole should be of Valmont/ Bajaj/ Transrail/Utkarsh/BPP only.( The cost of 6 mtr long S/L pole is including with 4 nos. M20X600 'J' type bolt and nuts etc.) The work to be done to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge.
RCC Foundation for 6Mtr. Long Octagonal Pole:- Design and casting of foundation with M-20 cement, concrete and steel reinforcement suitable for installation of 6 mtr octagonal pole. The foundation shall be provided with 2 no. of PVC pipe of 40 mm dia of suitable length to facilitate entry and exit of the cables in the pole through the foundation as desired by the Engineer-in-charge. The drawing of the foundation for poles need to be submitted & approved from EIC before starting the work. The job includes passing the entry and exit cables through the PVC pipes in foundation and making proper connection inside the juntion box of the pole including proper connection of armature to ensure proper earthing of whole system complete in all respect to the best satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
DSR ITEM NO. 2.8.1 (CIVIL WORK) Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50m. G.I. Earth pipe electrode:-Supply and laying of earth electrode made out of ISI marked 'B' class G.I. pipe 4.5 Mtr. long 40 mm dia including accessories. GI pipe electrode shall be cut tapered at the bottom, and provided with holes of 12mm dia, drilled not less than 7.5 cm from each other upto 2 Mtr. of length from bottom. The earth electode shall be laid in ground after boring as per CPWD specifications complete in all respect and to the entire satisfaction of the engineer-in-charge.
P/F 6 SWG GI earth wire: Providing & fixing earth connection from earth electrode with 6 SWG dia G.I. wire to pole, as required including nut, bolt washer and drillling hole etc to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply & Laying of flexible PVC insulated FR PVC sheathed 3 Core 1.5 mm2 Copper Cable conforming to IS -694:2010 of make KEI,Havells ,Cirtina / finolex , Polycab within the already erected 9 mtr Steel tubular / Octagonal pole and within bracket fitted on pole with the help of crane. The cable connection to be made using 3 terminal connection from junction box at the bottom of the pole to controller mounted at the top and from controller to the street light fitting using ( 3 terminal connector) mounted on the bracket. The job include the cost of making hole in the pole with welding set if required, dismantling & re erection fitting , bracket , managing traffic using proper precaution, making the required connector as stated above and other petty material required to complete the job to the entire satisfaction of engineer –in – change precautions of the work.
Supply and Erection of Hot Dip Galvanized Single Arm bracket 1000 mm overhang (including reducer)with octagonal canopy and an angle of inclination of 105º to the vertical. The top of end of canopy should be closed by M.S. sheet of 16 SWG. A pipe for support should be welded diagonally at the top side of bracket, between arms and canopy. The bracket should be galvanized after all the welding process to prevent rusting at joints i)The canopy shall be slipped over the top section of octagonal pole and fixed with 2 nos. ½" dia GI nuts & bolts. ii) The sample of bracket shall be got approved from the Engineer in charge before installation at site. The rate is inclusive of the cost of reducer if any required for mounting the street light fitting.

S&E of Outdoor type SINGLE SIDE OPEN ABLE M.S. Cubical Pedestal of size 1200mmx 900mm x350mm fabricated from 16 G.M.S. sheet welded on M.S. angle iron frame of size 50mmx 50mm x6mm with 4 Nos.legs of angle iron of same size each of length 600mm with M.S. sheet of size 100mmx100mmx6mm thick at the bottom of the legs. The front side of the pedestal should be openable with hiunged door provided with Godrej type locking arrangements. A 'U' type support made from M.S. sheet of 16 G having width 75mmx6mm be welded vertically in the inner side of the door to avoid entry of water. The door of the pedestal should be provided with rubber gasket to avoid entry of other insects etc. The top of the pedestal shall be covered with canopy made out of 16 G M.S. sheet projected outside to avoid entry of water. M.S. sheet of 16 G thickness and 1200mm x 150mm size be fixed at the front to cover the entry of cables. Four No. supporting members each of size 50mmx6mm thick according to cubical size shall be welded for mounting switcher gear i.e. ICTPN,BBC, Timer and energy meter etc.The Pedestal shall be painted with two coats of P.O. red paint after applying one coat of red oxide. The legs of the pedestal shall be embedded in the 1:2:4 R C.C. mixture by digging 1½' deep as required. The letter 'M.C.C.' in 4" size shall be written on the front door of the Pedestal. The job also includes Supply & erection one No. wooden plank/ board of size 1'-6" x 1'-6" and 25mm thick suitable for fixing energy meter including cost of screws, nuts & bolts in cubical pedestal complete in all respects. The pedestal will be housed on RCC Foundation platform of size 900 mm deep (450 mm underground and 450 mm above ground x 910 mm long x 360 mm wide including sufficient number of entries for cable with DWC pipe The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply & Erection of Three Phase Aluminium Bus Bar :Supply & Erection of Three Phase Aluminium Bus Bar of size 300mmx25mmx4mm with L type fuse unit to be fixed on Porcelain insulators in the existing pedestal with required nuts, bolts & M.S. sheet. The fuse links should be equal to the number of out going circuits. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing 100 A 30 KA 4 Pole rating and breaking capacity MCCB with thermomagnetic release and terminal spreaders in existing cubicle panel board including drilling holes in cubicle panel, making connections, etc. as required. DSR 2.2.13
Supply & Erection of Three Phase Sensor based Timer and Contactor assembled in 22 gauge CRCA sheet enclosure duly powder coated with the following accessories (Three Phase) of Make Amsons /L&T/Scheinder or equivalent as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. It shall conform to latest relevant IS Code:- 1. It shall have 3 contactors of capacity 40 Amp. Each of made BCH, Legrand, L&T or Siemons. The contractor should be of AC-3 duty 2 pole, 220/240 V coil Voltage. 2. It shall have Auto/Manual switch, light activated switching system with allied accessories as required. 3. It shall have kit-kat fuse unit of 40 Amp capacity. The fuse unit shall conform to latest relevant IS code for protection of timers, bakelite sheet & other components as per requirement as site. 4. It shall be housed in a powder coated 22 gauge M.S sheet cabinet fo its protection. 5.The device shall be provided/fixed in the existing pedestal box in such a way so that it operates at correct time i.e. at rising/setting of Sun. The Sensor shall be included time watch to operate as required. The work shall be executed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Warranty:- IT SHOULD STAND WARRANTY FOR ONE YEAR TOWARDS ANY MANUFACTURING DEFECTS.
Supply & laying of ISI marked 4 core 16 mm sq PVC INSULATED Aluminium armoured cable loose in trench/ pipe:- Supply & laying of ISI marked 4 core 16 mm sq Aluminum conductor armoured cable of make Havell's/ Finolex/ Ecko/ Lapp/ Cirtina/ Polycab/ KEI conforming IS:1554 (Pt.1) amended. The cable shall be laid as per DSR Code 7.5.1 . The job included all Connections, Commissioning and testing of phase. Supply complete in all respective to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
Supply & laying of ISI marked 4 core35 mm sq PVC INSULATED Aluminium armoured cable loose in trench/ pipe:- Supply & laying of ISI marked 4 core 35 mm sq Aluminum conductor armoured cable of make Havell's/ Finolex/ Ecko/ Lapp/ Cirtina/ Polycab/ KEI conforming IS:1554 (Pt.1) amended. The cable shall be laid as per DSR Code 7.5.2 . The job included all Connections, Commissioning and testing of phase. Supply complete in all respective to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
Supply & Erection of DWC pipe 50/63mm with hand bockey:- Supply and laying of 50/63 mm (I/D& O/D) Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) High Density Polyethylene pipe (HDPE Density 240 to 958 KG/Cm3) having corrugation on the outer wall and plain surface inner wall with average wall thickness for outer layer as 1.1+0.1mm and for inside layer 1.2+0.1mm maintenance free, ‘C’ value over 150 with lowest frictional losses, anti rodent, inflammable & good weathering resistance, conforming to IS 14930 (P-II) and PSEN-50086 (P-I & II) of Make Duraline/Rex/Zen duct/Gemini. The pipe should be laid 3 feet below ground/road level with hand bockey without cutting of road for laying cables etc. including cost of digging and refilling of pits complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.DSR CODE 14.15.1
Supply & Laying of DWC pipe 50/63mm with out hand bockey:- Supply and laying of 50/63 mm (I/D& O/D) Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) High Density Polyethylene pipe (HDPE Density 240 to 958 KG/Cm3) having corrugation on the outer wall and plain surface inner wall with average wall thickness for outer layer as 1.1+0.1mm and for inside layer 1.2+0.1mm conforming to IS 14930 (P-II) and PSEN-50086 (P-I & II) of Make Duraline/Rex/Zen duct /Gemini.. The pipe should be laid below ground/road level by digging the ground upto75 cm less excavation or cutting the road/paver blocks upto required level & laying of DWC pipe for laying L.T. (up to 1.1 KV grade) cables etc. including cost of digging and refilling of pits/Trench complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge of work.
Dismantling of existing Steel tubular pole 6/7.5 Mtr. Long along with Jn. Box, fittings with Wire & bracket etc. & other material complete in all respect to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The contractor shall hand over the dismantled material to the J.E. In-charge at central store in proper form duly accounted.
Dismantling & Re-Erection of existing Steel tubular pole 7.5/9 Mtr. Long along with Jn. Box, fittings with Wire & bracket etc. & other material complete in all respect. The pole shall be erected 1.5 Mtr. below the ground level in 8” internal dia ready made RCC muff. The gap between the pole and the muff shall be filled with the cement concrete 1:2:4. The cost includes all labour and material. The bottom portion upto 1.25 Mtr. of the pole should be painted with two coats of black bituminous paint after removing the dust. The job shall be completed to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and Erection of Angle Iron of bracket of 3'long made out of Angle Iron of size 35x35x6 & fixed on top of G.I pipe (0.5m) long 4" dia angle to support the bracket complete in all respect with suitable clump and nuts/bolts to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.
S/E of CC Collars including following:- a) The box shall be enclosed in a cement collar made from cement concrete 1:2:4 with outside dia 20”. b) The collar shall be embedded in the group upto 6” shall stand 9” above ground shall have housed 12” high SMC Box and 6” top over the box. c) The collar shall be provided with 2 Pipe of 40mm dia and 45cm long to facilitate entry of cables in the junction box after digg out the cable loops from earth complete in all respects, connetions etc. d) The collar shall be plastered properly finished, curing and painted with 2 coats of snowcem of superior quality. e) Providing and Fixing junction box of size 250x200x100mm inside dimensions of thermosetting sheet moulding compound material of robust construction with double hinge, side clamp locking arrangement. The existing ckt cable loops be made properly connection after digging from the earth and refilling the same position. There should be a terminal Strip (Thimble type) 30 amp rating suitable for minimum 4x16 sq.mm aluminum cable termination. The sheath of the armoured cable should be properly thimbed with the pole for proper earthing. Curing of CC Collar must be done as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The junction box should have two numbers PVC Glands with sufficient space for cable entry and loose wires complete in all respect.
Erection of LED Street Light/ Flood Light/ Globe Light on poles complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
