Manufacturers or their authorized Distributor/ Dealer/Agent with Tenders specific authorization can only quote. OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / dealers to quote on their behalf provided the manufacturer takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation and the inspection of product against Railways order is carried out at the manufacturers premises. The offer without Tender Specific Authorisation Letter will be summarily rejected if tenderer is not manufacturer/OEM

In case tenderer participates as an authorized agent, then the performance as required above shall be that of Principal authorizing the agent. It may so happen that the agent has credentials of past supply for a different Principal but this will not be considered as performance for placing order in case of change of Principal.

The bidder/ firm shall compulsorily meet following qualification criteria for technical qualification: a. Bidder firm shall be OEM or Manufacturer of EOT crane and shall have minimum 10 years' experience in Design, Manufacture, Supply and Commissioning of EOT cranes. Proof of experience shall be submitted along with bid. b. Bidder firm shall have supplied and commissioned minimum 5 nos of 10T or higher capacity EOT cranes with minimum span of 16 M length in last 7 years. Firm shall submit Copy of Purchase Order, Commissioning certificate (satisfactory performance) from end users of 10T or higher capacity for satisfactory performance and minimum 1-Year after commissioning.

EMD Clause: Tenderers are required to deposit Earnest Money equivalent to the amount mentioned in the tender document. There shall be no exemption from submission of Earnest Money for any tender or by any tenderer except as per Para 3.3 of Instructions to Tenderers for Electronic Tenders (Version: NFR-Jan 2025). All vendors, exempted from submitting EMD, irrespective of the type of tender, i.e, Single, Limited or Open, shall be required to sign a Bid Securing Declaration as per proforma available on bidders interface for payment of EMD on IREPS portal. Offers of tenderers, who do not submit Earnest Money and are also not exempted form submission of Earnest Money shall be summarily rejected.
