Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) not otherwise specifically provided for in this Schedule, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Contractor shall make arrangement to protect tiles, plumbing items, sanitary fittings, etc under the slab, etc by gunny bags with sand or any other suitable arrangement and quoted rates shall deemed to include this aspect.

Demolition of unreinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position (not otherwise specifically provided for in this Schedule, complete all as specified & as directed.

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster, terrazo etc on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or any thickness in floors, apron, dado etc, laid bedded and pointed in any mortar, complete all as specified & as directed.

Taking down shutters (including fittings & fixtures) of any description not exc 1 Sqm each, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutters (including fittings & fixtures) of any description exc 1 Sqm and not exc. 2 Sqm each, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters (including fittings & fixtures) area not exc 1.5 Sqm each (without taking off the shutters from the frame) of door/window including cutting holes for taking out hold fasts and making good the same including disturbed portion of jambs, cills, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkat or frame with shutters (including fittings & fixtures) area exc 1.5 Sqm but not exc 4 Sqm each (without taking off the shutters from the frame) of door/window including cutting holes for taking out hold fasts and making good the same including disturbed portion of jambs, cills, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old rusted & damaged steel windows/ventilators of any description and of any type & size without guard bars / grill including cutting holes for hold fasts & making good the disturbed portion complete all as specified & as directed.

Surface excavation not exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for anti-termite treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for anti-termite treatment to the soil along wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion at the rate of 2.25 litre of emulsion per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc in aprons complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders, gauge not exc. 63mm, deposited, spread and leveled in layers not exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in filling up chowkat/frame hollows and similar works complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in surface channels and drains and benching including finishing the top of benching even and smooth using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stops and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs (for man holes, drains etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including placing in position and set in CM (1:6) complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this Schedule.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade (Design mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate in chajjas and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade (Design mix) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate in Chullah hoods; stairways (except spiral staircases) including steps (square or spandril), string pieces, carriages, etc., complete, any section straight or winding, but excluding landings; RCC water tanks upto 1500 litre and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick work with old size burnt clay sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement and sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work, not exc 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping) for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to staircases with sloping or stepped soffits including risers and stringers (excluding landing) complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing factory made 35mm thick plain framed, paneled shutter (Two panels) with lock rail and panel of 9mm thick BWP commercial ply or 12 mm thick veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces, size of rail and styles as per IS : 1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated using second class Hard Wood rail and styles, fixed to chowkat, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing factory made 35mm thick glazed and skeleton shutters made of second class hard wood, open rebated and prepared to receive glass, gauze etc (without sash bars) edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass etc., sizes of members of shutters as specified in clause 8.24(a) of Section 8 in SSR Part-I, kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated, fixed to chowkat, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F factory made solid PVC door frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour single piece extruded PVC profile reinforced with MS square tube, fixing in opening as per specifications complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails. MS frame shall be covered with plain colour single piece extruded PVC profile ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for styles and plain colour single piece extruded PVC profile for top rail lock rail bottom rail on either side and as gap insert for Top rail and bottom rail paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to fitted on the MS frame welded/sealed to the styles and rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and joined together with solvent cement complete all as specified and as directed..

M&L for 18/19mm thick medium density prelaminated particle board (ISI marked), exterior grade, prelaminated one side with decorative choice lamination & other side balancing white lamination, fixed with screws to timber frame work/hinges as in cupboard shutters, shelves, Kitchen cabinets etc with & including necessary 18/19mm wide & 6mm thick Teak wood beading / edging / lipping fixed with nails to particle board complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F factory made pressed steel frames of size 125x60mm for doors with one or more rebates including necessary fixing lugs, hinges, lock strike plate etc, made out of mild steel sheet of 1.25 mm thickness, complete as specified & as directed.

S&F aluminium work powder coated of any colour as approved (thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) as in frame & shutters for doors, windows, ventilators, wall partitions, including joining cleats, glazing clips, snap beading, screws for fixing, etc., all aluminium sections as per relevant IS, complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Glass and rubber neoprene packing / rubber gasket shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under respective item of this Schedule.

S&F Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions (Fixed portions) with extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS:733 and IS:1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing/ paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Glass and rubber neoprene packing / rubber gasket shall be measured and paid for separately as “Supply only” under respective item of this Schedule.

Supply only sheet glass 5.5 mm thick ordinary quality and glazing with oil putty in required sizes, each pane, complete all as specified and as directed (for aluminium door/ partitions).

Supply only rubber neoprene packing / rubber gasket of required size & profile suitable for aluminium frame work in doors, windows, etc complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick plaster (screed bed) over roof slab in CM 1:4, mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for preparing surface and cleaning of concrete slab by wire brushing and applying evenly one coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 @ 0.40 litre/sqm and provide a layer of APP based polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 Kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick, reinforced with polyester non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/sqm) laid on primed surface complete all as described in Para 11.44.5 of SSR Part-I, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The net area of water proofing treatment shall be measured without any extra allowance for laps.

M&L for Lime concrete terracing in roof with minimum thickness at edge 40mm and increasing uniformly towards ridges to obtain a chain slope of (1:40) as described in Para 11.27.2 of MES Schedule Part-I including demolition of lime concrete of any description over roof, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For lime concrete mudia kankar (Source : NAL) and Kolayat coarse sand in lieu of brick aggregate and surkhi respectively as specified in MES schedule Part-I shall be used.

M&L for 40mm thick brick tiles, joints grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement, laid on roof over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:6, including dismantling of brick tiles or terracing tiles single layer on roofs, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 100mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, surface finished fair and rough, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, surface finished fair and even, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 25mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in flooring, leveling course, etc, surface finished fair and even, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab flooring 18 to 20mm thick laid over & including screed bed or bedding layer of 20mm thick in CM 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab with true & uniform joints including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for machine cut Kota stone slab 18 to 20mm thick on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc. laid over & including 10mm thick rendering (as screed bed) in cement & sand mortar 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab with true & uniform joints including rubbing and mirror polishing complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 18 to 20mm thick Granite (of any type) machine cut slab of approved shade (table rubbed and polished) with true & uniform joints as in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms & like and pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite over & including 15mm thick screed bed (bedding layer) in CM 1:4 with cement slurry @ 3 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified & as directed. Note : The exposed edges of granite stone slab shall be made full round & polished to mirror finish and rate quoted shall deemed to include this provision.

M&L for non skid ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm as in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm as in floors, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 15mm thick screed bed in cement & sand mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic tiles (coloured) 7mm thick, area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm (i.e 450mm x 300mm or as directed), on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 10mm thick rendering (as screed bed) in cement & sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non skid ceramic tiles (coloured) 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, on vertical surfaces such as dado, skirting etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles over & including 10mm thick rendering (as screed bed) in cement & sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for factory made 60mm thick machine pressed precast cement concrete coloured designer polished (reflecting type) interlocking paver blocks of Grade M-35 conforming to IS 15658-2006 of shape and size as directed with grey cement and no pigment with coloured top casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, laid over & including 25mm thick sand cushioning, joints of blocks filled with dry sand and compacted with mechanical vibrator complete all as specified & as directed. Note : Shape & colour of paver blocks shall be as approved by the GE.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sunken portion, surrounding of WC seats and similar works complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls in Sunken portion, mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified. Note : Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for removal of loose concrete and cleaning the surfaces and filling the cracks with Polymer modified mortar using Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP or other equivalent product as approved by GE and thereafter applying two coats of Dr Fixit Bathseal WPC or other equivalent product as approved by GE in Sunken areas complete all as per manufacturer’s instructions, specified & directed. Note : Where contractor desire to use equivalent product of Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP and Dr Fixit Bathseal WPC, he shall submit the technical literature of equivalent products to establish the equivalency of products to the entire satisfaction of GE and both products shall be of same manufacturer as approved by the GE.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, mixed with integral liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Supply only integral liquid water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:3 on concrete surfaces in ceiling, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces by complete removal of existing treatment of painted wall including pillar etc by mechanical equipment like electric wall sander and applying two coats of exterior emulsion/ weather proof exterior grade paint of first quality by using over a coat of primer including sealing the cracks all as specified in manufacturers instruction make : STP Ltd (Shallcry-215)/ Asian Paint (Apex Ultima)/ Berger Paint (Weather coat long) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly concrete surfaces and applying two coats of synthetic emulsion paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces of wood or wood based materials of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

Dismantling carefully and taking up or down existing unserviceable/serviceable steel water tubing and connections of 15mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 15mm bore with & including all fittings, fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors, complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing/Laying only, jointing and testing old serviceable galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 15mm bore obtained serviceable vide serial item No. 91.00 here-in-before including cleaning the pipe from inside & outside properly including rust & mud removal, with & including new fittings and fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors in new or old position complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The quoted rate shall deemed to include new GI fittings (ISI marked). Old fittings shall not be used.

Dismantling carefully and taking up or down existing unserviceable/serviceable steel water tubing and connections of 20mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 20mm bore with & including all fittings, fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors, complete all as specified and as directed.

Fixing/Laying only, jointing and testing old serviceable galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 20mm bore obtained serviceable vide serial item No. 94.00 here-in-before including cleaning the pipe from inside & outside properly including rust & mud removal, with & including new fittings and fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors in new or old position complete all as specified and as directed. Note : The quoted rate shall deemed to include new GI fittings (ISI marked). Old fittings shall not be used.

M&L for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 20mm bore with & including all fittings complete, laid in trenches, including taking up or down old unserviceable steel water tubing and connections of 20mm bore, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule.

M&L for galvanized steel water tubing medium grade of 25mm bore with & including all fittings complete, laid in trenches, including taking up or down old unserviceable steel water tubing and connections of 25mm bore, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately under relevant items of this Schedule.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class LV, Type I, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm confirming to IS -5820 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 80mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of LT electric cable complete including taking down old unserviceable pipe with clamps complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for welding in repair not exc 2.5cm in length and not exc 6mm thick of metal complete all as specified and directed.
