Milling of existing damaged bitumen surface by cold milling machine upto any depth and hauling the milled material up to any lead and stacking at nearest recycling plant site. (HSR 17.43.2) Note: - The quantity of milled bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mention in BOQ item No. 29 The quantity of reclaimed material shall be considered minimum 80% of theoretical volume. The reclaimed material shall be used 30% of total quantity of BM item No.10 as per clause No. 519 of MoRT&H specifications.

Removal of existing CC Block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and dispose unusable blocks outside PWD land or as desired by Engineer. (HSR 17.67).

Demolishing dry brick on end edging pitching in floors, drain etc. including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within any lead. (HSR 17.75)

Excavation for road work in soil by mechanical means including cutting, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, including breaking of clods and disposal within ROWs as per technical clause 301 of MORT&H specifications. (HSR 17.74)

Providing & laying Granular Sub-Base with Coarse Graded Material - Grading-I (Table:- 400-2) Construction of granular sub-base by providing coarse graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with Rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401.of MORT&H specifications. Grading I material Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer. (Based on HSR 17.15.1)

Providing, laying WBM (G-II) 53 mm to 22.4 mm with screening of Type ‘A’ in layer of 75mm each, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/ binding Materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per technical clause 404 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR 17.23.2) Note: - 1.Only crushed metal material should be used. No local earth sand shall be used. The material finer than 425 micron shall have zero Plasticity Index (PI). 2. Materials to be used and operations of manufacturing shall be approved by the engineer

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion grade SS-I on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer @ 0.60 kg/sqm mechanical means as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (Based on HSR.17.25)

Providing and applying tack coat with penetration grade bitumen VG - 10 using bitumen pressure distributor @ 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/ granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per technical clause 503 of MORT&H specifications (HSR.17.26.2)

Pdg & laying 50mm BM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% of the required quantity, hauling and stockpiling the reclaimed material near the central recycling plant after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenators as required, mixing in 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P., transporting and laying at site with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade and compacting to the required grade level and thickness with appropriate rollers all as specified in clause 519 (5th Revision) of 2013 using bitumen VG-30. (minimum Bitumen's 3.40% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula). The milled material to be used in BM shall be minimum 80% of the theoretical quantity. Note: -If bitumen required more than 3.40% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor. The unutilized quantity of reclaimed bituminous mix material shall be a recovery item as mentioned in BOQ item No.29. Note:-Before laying BM on existing black top all cracks shall be sealed as MoRT&H specification (5th edition) clause No. 3004.3. which may consists of (i) Fog seal/ or (ii) crack filling and or (iii) patch work repair as required at site in accordance with clause No. 3004.3.2 and 3004.3.3 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 respectively. Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB for fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work but no payment on this account shall be made as fog seal/or crack filling/ or patch work is/are incidental to work.

Providing, laying and rolling of open - graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of crushed stone aggregates of specified grading premixed in a continuous type of hot mix plant of appropriate capacity not less not less than 75 tonne per hour, with bituminous binder VG - 10 @ 1.46 kg per sqm, laid with Paver Finisher Mechanical and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades complete as per technical clause 510 of MORT&H specifications. (Based on HSR 17.33.1) Note: - Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS – 6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti – stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable. Providing and laying of cement concrete blocks of size 0.450 m x0.300 m x 0.15 m of cement concrete (C.C) M30 grade and spreading 25 mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand on existing W.B.M./G.S.B base as per technical specification clause 1503 (HSR.17.66.1)

Relaying of available (removed and stacked)C.C. Block M-30 Size 450x300x150mm and spreading 25mm thick sand underneath filling joints with sand as per technical specification clause 1503. (HSR 17.68)

Note: - Before start of work the contractor shall give brand, batch number, manufacturing date of the material to be used along with a photocopy of bill duly signed by the contractor and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use. Providing & fixing Reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade precast ordinary kilometre stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc complete as per technical clause 804 of MORTH Specifications (HSR.34.27.2)

Reinforced cement concrete M-25 grade village board size 1.85x0.90 x0.075 m of standard design, fixing in position including painting and printing etc. complete as per PWD specifications, minimum reinforcement 16 kg, Embedded in Ground up to 55 cm, in M-15 Concrete foundation 600x700x145 mm, as per Haryana PWD specification [HSR 34.27.5]

Supplying and fixing of single mould twin shank reflective road studs (cat eyes) made out of poly carbonate/ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face with retro reflectance and chromaticity values@ ASTM E 809 & ASTM D 4280. The detailed specifications and the product shall conform to ASTM D4280 and ASTM E 809. The raised pavement marker shall also meet all the testing conditions of ASTM D4280 like abrasion resistance and fixed to the road surface using the epoxy adhesive. Two cylindrical polymer shanks of not less than 20 mm diameter and not less than 30 mm length shall be moulded in the RPM body. The marker shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The marker shall withstand flexural strength of 909 kgf force in accordance with ASTM D4280. Marker lenses shall be moulded of Polycarbonate or methyl Methacrylate conforming to ASTM D788. The supplier shall provide a 2 years warranty for satisfactory field performance as per clause804.7.3 of MORT&H 5th revision specifications (HSR.34.34)

Providing and laying 600mm dia reinforced cement concrete pipe NP-4 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1 :2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets 1000 mm dia, as per clause 2900 of MORT&H specifications Note: - Contractor shall supply bill of manufacture of pipes. Pipes should bear name of manufacturer and ISI mark along with bill duly valid ISI certificate of manufacturer should be supply. Without these bills certificate no payment shall be released. (HSR.17.61.1)

i) Bricks @ 5.00 each Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :-

ii) Brick Bats @ 400 per Cum

iii) Bituminous mix material @ 1541.00 P.Cum Note :- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual scarifying and if material after scarifying is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price. Note:- In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR. the unit and nomenclature given in HSR Shall be applicable. ii) In case of any difference in the unit of any Non- schedule items depicted in this DNIT and the Conventional unit of that N.S Item as per practice in this department the conventional unit as per practice shall be applicable.
