3.15 Scarifying existing bituminous surface to a depth of 50 mm by mechanical means (Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 meters

Dressing & profiling the existing WBM/Granular surface layer of the road from edge to edge of the existing carriageway, filling low spots and ravelled stretches by providing additional materials of same type as that of the existing top surface layer, cambering, watering, rolling with 8-10 tonne roller to obtain a uniform formation surface with cross fall from the road centre line to the outer edges of the existing embankment. Works to be carried out in accordance with MORT&H specification section 300 and as directed by the deptt. (rate considered as per SOR for road bridge and culvert works for all divisions under PWD Assam 2009-10, at sections where the top level of the subgrade of the existing road surface is not proposed to be raised by more than 100mm. 3.16. Emankment Construction with Material obtained from Borrow Pits (Construction of embankment with approved materials obtained from borrow pits with a lift and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300-2 (including compensation of earth)(inclluding cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a) From private land

3.18. Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved materials obtained from borrow pits with all leads and lifts, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Table 300-2(incuding land compensation of earth) as per drawing and Technical Specifications Clause 305.

4.12 Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mixer (Pug Mill), carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers in sub-base/base course on a well prepared sub-base and compacting with smooth wheel roller of 80 to 100kN weight to achieve the desired density including lighting, barricading and maintenance of diversion, etc as per Tables 400.11 & 400.12 and Technical Specification Clause 406.

5.1 (B) Prime Coat Prime coat (Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.00kg/sqm using mechanical means.) 5.2 (I) (b) Tack coat:- Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsion pressure distributor at the arte of 0.20kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom (Including cost of testing materials at site and laboratory as directed by the Deptt.) ii)With bitumen emulsion-CSS-1 (IS-8887-2004) (b)dry & hungry bituminous surface.

Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (Providing and laying dense bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.0 to 4.5% by weight of total mix and filter transporting the hot miox to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoSRT&H cl. no.507. complete in all respects. (including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0km initial lead from mixing plant) (Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (b) With rock dust as filter (refer table 500-9 of MoSRT&H specification) (a) With VG-30 grade bitumen (ii) for grading-II (19mm nominal size)

Bituminous concrete (Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 100-200 TPH batch type hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous @4.5 to 5% of mix and filler transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoSRT&H cl. no.508. complete in all respects. (including carriage of mixed materials up to 10.0km initial lead from mixing plant) (Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a)With 60/70 or VG-30 grade bitumen (ii) For grading-II (13mm nominal size)

Road Furniture Retro reflectorised Traffic sign: Providing and erecting of Retro-Reflectorised cautionary, mandatory & informatory sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2mm thick fixed on an angle iron of 25x25x4mm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm firmly to the ground by means of properly design foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing and sign. ( All the Steel work must be Tata/Sail or any other approved brand) (ii) 60cm equilateral triangle

(iii) 60cm circular

(iv) 80cm x 60cm rectangle

Kilometer Stone(Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometer stone of standard design as per IRC:8-1980, fixing in position including painting and printing etc) (ii) Ordinary Kilometer stone (Precast)

Direction and place identification sign more than 0.9sqm size board. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 801.3 fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2mm thick with area exceeding 0.9sqm fixed on an angle iron of 25x25x4mm supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75mm x 75mm x 6mm, 2 nos. firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 45cm x 45cm x 60cm, 60cm below ground level as per approved drawing and sign. (All the steel work must be Tata/Sail or any other approved brand)

Providing reflective pavement marker with a provision of spike at the bottom with Micro prismatic lens in both direction having thermoplastic body adhering to the specification and guidelines of MoSRT&H’s fixed to the road surface using the adhesives and the procedures recommended by the manufacturers with three months replacement warranty and free maintenance.

Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorised glass beads @ 250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be leveled, uniform and free from streaks and holes.

Planting of trees and their maintenance for one year (Planting of trees by the roadside(avenue trees) in 0.60m dia holes, 1m deep dug in the ground, mixing the soil with decayed farm yard/sludge manure, planting the saplings, backfilling the trenches, watering, fixing the tree guard and maintaining the plants for one year.

Supplying , fitting and fixing RCC guard post 150cm long erected 75cm above the ground and 75cm below the ground with M-15 grade (nominal mix 1:2:4 with broken stone aggregate upto 20mm size) of cement concrete and required reinforcement tied in position with annealed black wire including centering, moulding the top, curing including painting concrete surfaces in 23cm strips upto 0.75mm from the top alternately in black and white and having 2 nos. reflective band of desired shade etc. complete as per design and as directed. (b) 15cm dia. RCC guard post with reinforcements of 4nos. 12mm dia TMT main steel bars and 6mm TMT/MS stirrups at 15cm c/c.
