SPECIAL REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT OF CERTAIN BUILDINGS OF 11 BRD AF STN OJHAR

Taking down carefully existing bitumen tar felt including plastering upto 15mm thick cleaning the surface and make free of dirt, foreign particles, laitance followed by grinding all protrusions to make surface modulated and removing all foreign materials / Bituminous primer completely , cleaning and washing the existing surface of roof/slab, terraces including flashings and junctions of parapets/kerb walls etc.complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Contractor will not throw the debris and suitable arrangements shall be made to take down the materials from roof. (ii) If taking down of plaster is exceeding 15mm then PCC and plaster both shall be measured under ser item No 21 below (iv) Removing of the rubbish to a distance outside MoD land shall be at own arrangement of Contractor.complete all as specified and directed. (v) The contractor will taking down and refix any lightening arrester/earthing strips and will make good any damages occured during taking down the existing water proofing treatment without any extra cost

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including PCC of existing roof, PCC tiles with screed bed and removing the demolished material outside MoD land at own arrangement of Contractor.complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B0 (Using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in bed plate/roof kerb/PCC padding and hunching etc all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge Note : (i) PCC shall be laid in slope and thickness shall be average(minimum average thickness 25mm or as per site requirement for maintaining the slope) as per site including filling in depression by providing concrete bench marks for maintaining the perfect slope to drain out the rain water as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (ii) No hand mixing is allowed, mixing shall be at ground floor and mixed materials deposited on roof Manually/ mechanically to achieve the proper strength and workmanship. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound @ 0.12 ltr per bag of cement or as per manufacturer instruction and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement.complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately (ii) Plaster shall be laid in slope and thickness shall be average as per site including filling in depression by providing cement mortar bench marks for maintaining the perfect slope to drain out the rain water as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

Material and labour providing cement slurry @ 3Kg per sqm on existing roof surface before laying PCC/ Plaster complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound

Material and labour Cutting grooves in brick wall, 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal face of wall with cement mortar 1:3 and after insertion of APP in the groove .complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cleaning the newly plastered surfaces thoroughly with wire brushes and providing water proofing treatment all as given here in after (a) Bituminous primer @ 0.3lit per Sqm conforming to IS-3384-1986 (b) 3 mm thick APP polymer modified moply FP of M/S TEXSA Ltd or M/S STP Ltd or ASIAN PAINTS of Hydrostop Tiki Dan of M/s Tikki tar Ltd with minimum wt 3.0 Kg per square meter membrane (one layer) laid by torch application method. (c ) Applying two coat of bituminous based aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg in two coats (total in two coats) per square meter over membrane. (d) The overlaps of APP shall be as per SSR part 1 and APP shall be laid by expert/ skilled workers only, bitumen based aluminous paint applied by brushes only. complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for removing of tree roots of any girth and height , shrubs and bushes from wall surface/roof top/chajjas up to 15 M height including repairing of cracks and filling the tree root channels and dismantled areas with chemical/ Acid and render unfit for growth of vegetation on building surface and making good in cement mortar 1:3 and to match the surface with existing finishes including all T&P required and considering all safety measures to carry out work upto ht 15 meters of bldg etc completed and removal of shrubs up to 50 m distance.complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware , AC or RCC or PVC Pipes) of any dia including all fittings any size all as specified and directed

Supply and fix PVC (SWR) pipes 200mm dia single, socketed in any length ,with rubber ring joints fixed to walls with MS clamps all as specified and directed

Supply and fix PVC (SWR) bends 200mm dia all as specified and directed

Material & labour for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping /hunching splash stone laid in shapes as desiredall as specified and directed

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description all as specified and directed

Material and labour for Rolled sections as in framing for cladding, glazing and the like fixed with angle cleats and connecting plates, made in shape or curves as required for fixing of North light curves, etc. of Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250)quality-B all as specified and directed

Supply and fix mild steel screw bolts ( Machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and the screwed the other to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square length n exc 90 cm and and dia a exc 16mm with threaded portion of bolt as required upto 150mm & to fixed above gutter as required to make proper slope of gutter complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix in repairs 3.15 mm thick Plain, mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip, funnels make in shape/ design as directed and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of Fe 410-W 9gde-E-250) Quality B.all as specified and directed Note : (i) Contractor shall made own arrangement for climbing and working on hangers not exceeding 16 meter ht. (ii) Dismantling the valley gutter through mechanical cutter ( No welding rod is allowed during cutting/Dismantling of existing of gutters) on existing place for taking down and follow all safety & fire rules. (iii) The Contractor shall be liable to execute the work in rainy season without any objection, if any leakage occurred after execution contractor will redo the work immediately . All safety measures are followed by the Contractor as per safety guidelines. (iv) 100mm minimum overlap shall be provided at the joints of gutters and welding must be water tight and there shall be no seepage at joints of gutters. only straight length of the gutters shall be measured nothing shall be paid extra for overlaps. (v) Gutter shall be provision between two sloping roof with support of angles made in shape. (Angle shall me measured and paid in above item No 40.)

Disconnecting existing water tanks of any description, of capacity exc.250 & n. exc. 500 lit., incl setting aside as required for cleaning and removing all scale and dirt using detergent powder and bleaching powder etc, and hoisting if required, reconnecting and refixing complete incl ball valve in position and writing date of cleaning on tank with paint complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fixing 500 Liter capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank (cylindrical vertical with closed top) three layers hoisted and fixed in position complete and all as specified and directed including dismantling existing water tank and remove to store all as specified and directed
