Notes for serial item No 1.00 to 1.04 :- (i) The item shall be executed only after written permission of Engineer-in-Charge. (ii) The contractor’s quoted rates shall be deemed to be included the element of working in foul and unhygienic conditions. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. Contractor shall take all safety precautions into account and all safety tools shall be provided by the contractor to all working staff. In case of any mishappening / casualty happens, no claim whatsoever in this respect will be admissible, the entire responsibility shall be of the contractor and no compensation will be entertained in this regard by the department. Insurance, compensation to persons etc shall be liability of the contractor. Cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor. (contd..)

(Contd...) (iii) The contractor shall be responsible for making good the damages occurred due to negligence in workmanship during cleaning of chamber / tank. The decision of the Accepting Officer shall be final and binding with regard to a particular defects / damages / breakage of existing equipments / lines / structures etc during cleaning which may be caused due to contractor’s people. (iv) No T&P shall be supplied by the department.

M&L for maintenance, treating and monitoring the raw sewage by adding required chemical in proper and spoeciofioed qty t reduce the level of pollution in the waste water to the limits specfied to make water suitable for use in horticulture / arboriculture :-

Testing of sewage effluent at the inlet of raw sewage sump and equalization tank and out let of treated water tank / chlorine contract tank, sampling and analysis to be carried out from NABL accredited authorized Lab as per IS-3025 for essential parameters such as BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, PH, Coli form etc and submitting test results to Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Samples of raw sewage & post treated sewage water to be collected by the contractor in presence of representative of Engineer-in-Charge every month & results of the test shall be submitted to depatment.

M&L for taking out unserviceable SBR Feed Pump with electric motor 20 HP after disconnecting all electrical connections etc., dismantling & cleaning of pump set, removing the burnt winding, repair to damaged slots and rewinding the motor with new super enameled copper wire of same gauge with equal number of turns, varnishing, taping with cotton taps & drying including replacement of unserviceable minor parts such as seals, nut bolts, screws, bearing, shaft etc and re-assembling the pump set and re-installation at site, commissioning the pump set and testing on full load for 8 Hrs, including shifting to & from workshop, complete, all as specified & directed.

M&L for repair and servicing air cooled blower / compressor by replacing & topping up compressor oil (ISO VG 320 of make - SERVO (IOCL) / MAK (BP) / HPCL), filter, rubber washers, gaskets, oil seal, bearing etc, proper cleaning, proper alignment, adjusting belt tension, checking and ensuring the proper functioning of air blower with motor complete all as specified and directed.

S&F mild steel chain block set 2T with chain not less than 10 m in length for hanging of sewage submersible pump including taking down old unserviceable chain set.

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, coping filling etc 150 mm thick as in sub base surface finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

S&F nylon threaded PVC hose pipe (Green) heavy duty of size 80mm dia including hose clips of required size including taking out old unserviceable hose pipe with clips.

S&F 6 sqmm multistranded copper conductor, 3 core PVC insulated and sheathed copper screen protected 1100 Volts grade submersible flat cable fixed to column pipes with suitable clamps & jointing material complete including disconnecting & taking out old unserviceable cable.

M & L for preparation of old treated steel & iron surfaces of STP and machinary withh all equipments like pumps, panel, chlorine plant, compressor , valves & pipes, ladder etc of any sizes and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified and dirrected.

Surface dressing not exc 15cm deep in soft/loose soil.

Material & Labour for fabrication of duct cover & valve pit chamber cover made out of angle iron frame and MS plates including of openable arrangement by Haeavy duty MS hinge painted with synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including grouting of frame in PCC or brick work, with double layer or white wash including taking down old rusted pit cover all as specified and directed.
