Rolled mild steel framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails,braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing confirm to Fe 410 -W (Gde-E- 250) quality-A in and including dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Dismantling of posts or struts (wood,steel or RCC) any section, including taking out embedded portion of post embedded in concrete ,brickwork, masonary etc.complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Mild Steel angle iron for post and flat iron, or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion drilled including embedded in concrete and screwing etc., posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc flat iron fillets (for scuring wire mesh etc). including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting etc. and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165,complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Earth work and concrete shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule.

Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild steel screw bolts 16 to 20 mm dia of shank factory (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long , complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note-Length of ordinary bolts shall be measured from the underside of the head to the end of shank)

Cutting holes in concrete surfaces/ stone walls built in cement mortar or in cement lime mortar for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 as required depth of embedded portion of holdfasts exc half brick but not exc one brick , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) each not exc. 0.5 Cubic Metre and getting out, and removing surplus spoil to a distance not exc. 50 m and making good surface in Hard dense soil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, in and including demolition of unreinforced cement concrete in ground floors and paving n.exc 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Dismantling fencing wire mesh,any type complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Fixing only in repairs Galvanised ,2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings, and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire staples, or steel pins etc complete all as specified (each line of wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Barbed razor type concertina coil of 600/900 mm dia (when unstretched) fixed between the existing ‘V’ angle post and barbed wire over security wall /PCC /ground as per requirment with coil of coverage 7.5 running metre per coil, weight of each coil 14.00 to 14.50 Kg hot dip galvanized and binding with and including MS annealed wire of 0.90 mm including taking down old unserviceable existing concertina coil , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size and type n.exc 4 Kg per Square Metre , complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing only chain link galvanised wire fencing mesh size or with 4 mm nominal dia and both ends without knuckling/ twisting, fixed to flat iron rails with RCC/Angle iron post , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Supply of chain link and mild steel galvanised line wire shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of this schedule .

Running welding in repairs for metal not exceeding 6 mm in thickness of Metal to be welded , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Welding in repairs for metal not exceeding 6 mm in thickness of Metal to be welded and n exc 2.5 cm in length ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Welding in repairs for metal not exceeding 6 mm in thickness of Metal to be welded and exc 2.5 cm but n exc 5cm in length ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Steel rolling shutters of push pull or manual type of 1.25 mm thickness of laths in mm,without ball bearings,as specified including top cover,anchoring rod, hasp and staple and one shop coat of primer;erected in position as indicatedincluding necessary arrangements for fixing in walls in and including taking down old rolling shutter of any size and any type including all the connected accessories , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Steel rolling shutters of Gear operated type with bevel gear box and crank handle (1.25mm thickness of laths), with out ball bearing , as specified including top cover, anchoring rod, hasp, and staple and one shop coat of primer erected in position as indicated including necessary arrangements for fixing in walls fixed in and including taking down old rolling shutter of any size and any type including all the connected accessories , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of new steel surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coat of synthetic enamel paint over , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Replacement of unserviceable part of rolling shutters as per requirements given below and making it serviceable/ functional including taking down existing part complete all as specified and directed complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Ball bearings for rolling shutters complete as in replacment of existing damaged unservicable part , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Bevel bearing gear box with crank and handle as in replacment of existing damaged unservicable ball bearing , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Suspension shaft 40 mm bore made of mild steel pipe of heavy duty as in replacment of existing damaged unservicable part , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild steel spring of size upto 18" as in replacment of existing damaged unservicable part , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Mild steel spring of size exc 18" but n exc 30" as in replacment of existing damaged unservicable part , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

1.25 mm thick lathes interlocking cruls at both edges and deep corrugation at centre with a bridge depth not less than 12 mm each lath shall be continous single piece without any welded joint of width matching with existing as in replacment of existing damaged unservicable part , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of parts of existing rolling shutters with kerosine oil removing any scale/dirt and old greese and greesing all mechanical members of the shutters including guides, rails ,sliders,bearings,gearbox making shutter fully functional ,complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over as in reinforcement cut to length , bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping ends for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire annealed not less than 0.90 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Mild steel TMT bars 5mm dia. and over up to and including 10 mm dia. in stirrups, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns , hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire ( annealed) not less than 0.90 mm dia. Or securing with clips , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Use & waste of form work to sides of Square, rectangular or polygonal pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for rough finished surfaces of concrete,complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in-Charge

Reinforced Cement concrete 1:2:4 ( nominal mix) type B1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in columns, pillars, piers, posts ans stuts in and including demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description & in any position, and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured and paid for separetely.

First quality glazed ceramic coloured tiles of 300x450x7 mm thick, laid on vertical surfaces such as skirting, dados and risers to steps etc laid over and including 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:3) set and jointed in neat cement paste of honey like consistancy and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles in and including dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing rubbish off the premises, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note :- Design, pattern and colour of tiles will be as approved by GE. Quoted rates are inclusive of any no of Highlighters required for making pattern .
