COMPREHENSIVE AND CERTAIN OTHER B/R REPAIR WORKS IN SOUTH SIDE OF RUNWAY IN TECHNICAL AREA AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles in any description and removing/disposal off from the site to outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work in half brick thick wall straight or curved on plan to any radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering/ rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 10mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar (1:3) on any face of Brick walls or concrete internal surfaces of SWT including mixing of liquid WPC in mortar @ 200 ml per bag of cement of 50kg, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only under appropriate item of BOQ.

Material and labour for supply and application on the internal surfaces of existing Static Water Tank (SWT) of two coats of approved non-toxic, two-component, polymer-modified, flexible cementitious waterproofing slurry coating, suitable for water-storage applications, conforming strictly to BS 6920: Part 1:2000, having mixed specific gravity of 1.65 to 1.75 and abrasion/water-wear resistance of 0.09 cm/km, The coating shall be applied uniformly in two coats to achieve a minimum overall dry thickness of 1.0 mm, using a total material consumption/coverage of 1.5 to 2.0 kg/sqm, including proper treatment of corners, junctions, cracks, allowing the required interval between coats and curing of the completed coating, including mechanically mixing the two-component compound in the prescribed proportions using a suitable low-speed mechanical mixer to achieve a homogeneous, smooth and lump-free consistency, strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended mixing procedure and pot life, before application, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10-12 mm thick in CM (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15 mm thick in CM (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.
