Short Term Maintenance Contract STMC work from Km 34.000 to Km 56.000 Km 64.000 to Km 80.000 and Km 94.500 to Km 111.710 Km. of NH 117 New NH12 under National Highway Division I in the district of South 24 Parganas during the year 2025 26.

BILL NO. 1 : ROAD MAINTENANCE

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 metres including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness. (Reference to MoRT&H's specification clause 201)

Cutting of branches of trees shrubs and trimming of grass and weeds Cutting of shrubs from the road way or with in R.O.W and disposal of shrubs to suitable locations as per technical specifications Clause 1914 for Rural Roads of MORD.

Cutting of branches of trees and shrubs from the road way or with in R.O.W including disposal of wood and leaves to suitable location as per technical specification Clause 1914 for Rural Roads of MORD.

Cleaing slab/ box type culverts and pipe culverts including clearing, cleaning and reshapping of upstream and down stream faces of these culverts with in right of way. The job includes disposal of excess material recovered from site including vegitation outside ROW with all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Frequency of cleaning will be two times in a year i.e. before and after monsoon.)

Picking up and removing old bituminous layer or sand sealing coat from old black topped surface and cleaning the exposed surface by scraping and stacking the material as directed

Providing, laying and compacting Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam complete as per technical Specification Clause no. 505 including tack coat as per Technical Specifications Clause no.503.

Tack coat on Bituminous surface by RS1 Bitumen Emulsion Bulk Type Cationic emulsion @ 0.25kg/sqm

Providing, laying and compacting Bituminous Concrete as per technical Specification Clause no. 507 including tack coat as per Technical Specifications Clause no. 503

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using. Type B seal coats (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 511).

Water Bound Macadam Sub Base (Hard Shoulder) Water Bound Macadam Sub Base (For Hard Shoulder) by consolidating Jhama metal of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Spreading blindage for road topping using sand / moorum / kiln rubbish etc. in approximately 6mm thick layer, including watering and rolling complete.

BILL NO. 2 : ROAD PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Providing and laying of hot applied thermplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms. / sqm. area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes. (Reference to MORT&H's specification 803).

Supplying & fixing of Raised Pavement Markers/RoadStuds/Cats Eye made of polycarbonate moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face which shall support a load of 13635kg tested in accordance to AS TMD4280 Type H andc ompling to Specifications of Category A of Mo&TH Circular No.RW/NH/33023/10-97-DO III Dt.11.06.1997 &MoRT&H's specification for Road&Bridge Works (FifthRev.) .Marker heights hall not be less than 10mm and shall not exceed 20mm, width shall not exceed 130mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 sqcm on each side and slope to the base shall be 35±5 degree. Fixing will be with out nails but by using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer's recommendation including site clearence etc and complete as directed by the Engineerin Charge. The contractor will have to provide a test certificate from a reputable national/international laboratory comforming the above specifications.

Painting two coats, after filling the surface & applying a sealing primer, with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new plastered concrete surfaces as per MORT7H's specification 803.6.2.(Reference to MORT&H's specification 803).

BILL NO. 3 : PAVEMENT REPAIR

Pre-coating stone aggregates with cutback bitumen MC-800 @ 6% of net volume of stone aggregate in Mini Hot Mix Plant / Mix it all including preheating the bitumen drums upto 85deg C and preheating the stone aggregate at a suitable temperature, including cost of carriage of all materials at the mixing yard and cost of filling the cold mix in empty cement bag, storing the mix filled bag at a suitable place as directed including cost and carriage of bitumen and hire charges of machineries and all incidental charges complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Ref: IRC: 116 - 2004)

Labour for mixing stable anti-stripping agent of approved quality conforming to Table - A4-1 of Appendix–4 of Specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision) to the binder @ 0.5% to 1% by weight of binder (depending up on size & stripping value of the aggregates) and allowing 15 to 30 minutes of circulation or stirring in the hot bitumen tank to ensure a homogeneous mix of binder and anti-stripping agent for different bituminous works as per Technical Specifications given in Appendix – 4 of Specification for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision) and direction of Engineer-in-Charge complete including cost and carriage of all materials, labours, hire charges of T&P but excluding the cost but including carriage of anti-stripping agent to site of works.

Repairing pot holes with pre-coated stone materials including cutting, loading pre-coated stone materials at departmental stack-yard or any other approved pre-defined location, including carriage of pre-coated stone materials from source to different kilometers of road by truck and laying directly from truck and compacting with plate compactor / power roller including cutting the pot hole to regular shape clearing the pot holes of loose materials, drying the bed of pot holes, where necessary, by soaking with gunny bags and using lime, where necessary, before laying of pre-coated materials etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge(i) Within a distance up to 10 kms.
