Dismantling of existing CC Block pavement including transporting and stacking usable block along road side and disposed unusable blocks outside PWD land or as desired by Engineer-in-Charge as per (HSR 8.2-b)

Dismantling concrete cement concrete plain 1:2:4.(HSR 8.6-d)

Precast cement concrete 1:1½:3 with stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size in Kerbs and the like itmes, finished smooth with 6 mm thick cement plaster 1:3 on exposed surface including form work, placing and fixing in position, complete as per HSR [HSR. 10.77 + 10.95 (a)].

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS 15658:2006/IRC:SP:63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect (HSR 10.159) (Note:- Reputed make paver block only ISI marked will be used as approved by Engineer-in-Charge)

Laying & fixing 80mm thick interlocking paver blocks of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed 30mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 10.159) L.R.

Providing & applying painting two coats with ready-mixed exterior paint in all shades on newly plastered or concrete surface of walls. (Note:- First quality paint of reputed make firm such as goodlass-Nerolac, Berger, Garware, Jenson, Nicholson, Asian & Shalimar shall be used as approved by Engineer-in-Charge in writing, drum of paint shall be opened in presence of Engineer-in-Charge). (HSR 16.26) Through rate)

Preparation of sub grade, including trenching rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth, to given levels and camber, watering, rolling with road roller and compacting the bed.(HSR 24.1)

Dismantling of road including soling and wearing coat, screening and stacking of old serviceable material, complete in all respect. (HSR 24.37)

Providing & laying 150 mm thick (Compacted) stone metal (G-II) 53mm to 22.4mm gauge wearing coat to water bound macadam in layer of 75mm each using screening type ‘B’ compacting with 3 wheeled steel roller/vibratory roller to achieve the desire density including lighting, guarding barricading and maintenance of diversion etc. as per clause No.404 of MoRT&H specifications for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects.(N.S.) Note: No local earth /natural occurring sand shall be allowed to be used as binding/ screening.

Providing and laying 100mm thick Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub –Base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383 the size if course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm aggregate cement ratio not to be exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trail length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as per ISI marked provision MPA at 7 days mixed in the batching plant transported to site laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013. Note: - If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and laying 200mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 360 Kg. per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing and MoRT&H specification No.602. 5th edition 2013 (NS) Note: - Minimum cement contents shall be 360 Kg. per cum of concrete. If job mix formula required more it shall be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Earth work with Tibba Sand in Road & Parking taken from outside of campus area with all lead and lift including loading, unloading, laid in 53cm layer including ramming. Watering, consolidating, compaction and compensation of earth etc. complete in all respect as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (For any lead and lift). (N.S.)

Recovery items:- The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- WBM material @ 822.60/- P.Cum Note:- All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
