REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS IN TECH AREA AND ROADS APPROACHING PTT LINKS DISPERSAL AND PERIMETER BOUNDARY ETC AT AIR FORCE STATION UTTARLAI

Repair to pot holes not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surface in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with VG-10 grade paving bitumen at 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for think bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm

M&L, for Preparing old bituminous surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags / air commpresor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer of VG-10 grade paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified amd dirccted.

M&L for premix bituminious macadam ( Using paving grade bitumen VG-30) laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 10 to 12 tonne power roller ( consolidated thickness 75 mm or less )with minimum 4% paving bitumen by weight of total mix

M&L for laying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness , using VG-30 grade paving bitumem, with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, laid with propelling mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surface of roads and marking 2.5 mm thick centre line, stop line, dashes, arrows, brackets & similar work 10 cm wide and over on bituminious/ concrete road surfaces with thermoplastic paints including reflectorising glass beads of approved quality of 8% per Sqm laid at temparature 160 degree Celcius as per IRC -35, of white/ yellow colour conforming to BS3262-1989 (as approved) with a special applicator machine complete all as per manufacturer's instructions & traffic diversion arrangement complete all as specified and directed.
