Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m deep for laying of cables, pipes foundations of poles/stays/pipes etc not exc 10 Sqm area on plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Returning, filling in excavated soil in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Removing of excavated soil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Sand cushioning to UG cable laid in trenches with clean dry river sand 8 cm below & 15 cm above the cable & punned down to 18 cm thickness complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: - For payment purpose 18 cm thickness shall be measured.
Burnt brick of size 230 x 115 x 75 mm sub class B for cable protection laid adjacent to each other perpendicular to the direction of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Supply, laying, jointing & testing in replacement XLPE insulated, PVC bedded galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade cross sectional area 10 Sqmm 2 core laid in trenches or passing through pipe or fixed on poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: Rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include LT Cable end termination joint of appropriate size. No extra payment will given on this account.

Taking down the unserviceable LT cable of any size from trenches/ walls /floor etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Plain cement concrete, 1:2:4, type B-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping etc including necessary form work and finishing the surface with cement mortar 1:4, 5mm thick finished to the portion of PCC muffs above ground level complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
PCC,1:4:8, type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregrate) as in foundation of poles & stay etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Supply and Laying in replacement Galvanised iron steel tubes, ISI marked light grade of size 40 mm bore for cable protection along the poles, under road, under drains, laid in trenches/fixed on walls/poles with suitable clamps bolts nuts etc including taking down of old unserviceble pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Supply and Laying in replacement Galvanised iron steel tubes, ISI marked light grade of size 80 mm bore for cable protection along the poles, under road, under drains, laid in trenches/fixed on walls/poles with suitable clamps bolts nuts etc including taking down of old unserviceble pipe, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Dismantling of old unserviceable/broken/jointed ACSR conductor or earth wire from poles and removing from site of work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Taking down existing old cross arms of MS channel or angle sections etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
Taking down burnt and broken out insulators of any size from LT Poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
Taking down old unserviceable cradle guard/earthing from LT Poles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
(In replacement) MS Channel/angle iron/flat iron of required size and bend to shape as cross arms, bracing and support including, MS clamps back plates with bolts, nuts, and washers drilled for insulators including painting with two coats of synthetic enemel paint (Aluminium shade) over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
(In replacement) Aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) any size on poles, stretched on LT poles without any kink and bends of various sizes complete including fixing to insulator with Aluminium binding wire complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
On load change over switch, FP, 200 Amps, 415 Volt, 4 pole complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600mm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level ) with top edge plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth strip of size 32 x 6mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and washers of galvanized iron earth lead with 15 cm thick alternate layers of charcoal dust & common slat including PCC pit in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, RCC cover made out of cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with TMT steel bars 8 mm dia @150 mm c/c both ways with suitable handle and angle iron 40 x 40 x 5 mm frame, GI medium grade watering pipe 20 mm bore and funnel with wire mesh light grade protection pipe 40mm bore up to main board complete as shown on electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch 2009 (Part-I) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note: - On testing after completion of earthing, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.
Earth continuity conductor (in replacement) on main earthing lead fixed to pole or buried in ground or at any other situation for loop earthing extra as required (beyond 7.5 M) of GI Strip 32 x 6 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Switchyard gravelling of 15.0 cm (loose thickness) by broken stone of 40 mm size in and around two pole/ four pole structure/ substation complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Taking out/dismantling any type of LT Panel by disconnecting the electric connection carefully after taking proper shutdown and removing from the site and stacking complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
Supply, Installation , testing and commissioing in replacement of outdoor type, weather proof, cubicle panel board made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA steel sheet mounted on 60 cm long legs made out of 40 x 40 x 6 mm equal angle, iron, embedded in PCC, 1:2:4, type B-1 blocks of size 15 x 15 x 15 cm front and back openable, double door openable up to minimum 150 degree & removable type having magnetic catche system, lockable/ openable by keys from both sides having chromium plated locks, louvers and air vent gaskets for natural air flow suitable foamed in PU gasket to make it dust/vermin proof, IP 54 protection, powder coated and prewired as per standard engineering practice, the panel manufacturer should have got any one of the panel tested at CPRI earliset for short circuit current of 50 KA for one second and similar design and technology shall be adopted for fabrication of panel copy of CPRI test report shall be produced to GE along with a certificate from manufacturer of the panel that the similar design and standard have followed in these panels complete suitable cable glands for cable entry. The panel shall accomodate the following equipments:-

Supply, installation and commissioning in replacement LT Feeder pillar box of size 75x75x45 cm outdoor type factory made manufactured by a CPRI approved manufacturer, made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet and self supporting, built upon Rigid frame work suitable fo 440 volt 3 phase 4 wire system having front and rear hinger doors with neorprene rubber gasket epoxy powder coated with danger plate, earthing strip point and bottom detachable gland plate complete with suitable size zinc chromium plated nuts, bolts and washers etc having colour code aluminium bus bar interconnections for easy identification including incoming/outgoing cable holes at bottom, provision of six Nos connectors and embedded with mild steel angle iron frame of size 50x50x6 mm and 450 mm above normal ground level complete with PCC foundation in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 graded stone aggregate and testing after installation including taking down unserviceable Feeder Pillar box with connected acessories after disconnecting all incoming and outgoing cable etc complete all as specified and comprising with the following:-
(a) Aluminium Bus-bar 400 Amp, supported with suitable size of Heavy Duty Porcelain Stand Lock with suitable size of Brass Nut, Bolts and Washer with Heat Shrinkable PVC Sleeving. The Bar shall be Colour Coded (Red, Yellow & Blue) for Three Phases and Black for Neutral. – 04 Nos (a) MCCB 4 Pole, Ics = 100% Icu, 35/36 KA, 415 Volts, 250 Amps, with thermal adjustable and fixed magnetic setting with extended terminals - 01 Nos (AS INCOMING)
Cutting to existing road for crossing of underground electric cable for laying of any size GI tubing including necessary excavation and earth work including repairing the same as per existing with pre mix bituminious carpet complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: - Width of trench shall be 15 cm and depth shall be upto 30 cm.
120 Watt LED Flood light (in replacement ) with pressure die cast aluminium housing & toughened glass with IP-66 degree protection, individual LED's must have peanut lenses for better throw across & along the road with luminarie efficacy of greater than 110 lumen/Watt (Minimum lumen output of luminarie should be 16500 Lumens) color rendering (CRI) of > 75 and co-related color temperature (CCT) of 5700K (+ 500K), The luminarie should have 5 KV surge protection, PF > 0.95, and total harmonic distortion of THD < 10%, voltage range of 140-280V should be provided. Luminarie should have top maintainable driver compartment for easy access to driver during maintenance. The driver used must be a constant current driver with efficiency of > 85%. The manufactures LOGO must be embossed/Engraved in the housing of the luminarie. Manufactures to provide LM80 from source manufacturer and should have adequate testing facilities approved by ministry of science (Govt of India) to provide LM 79 report complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
