M&L for Repair to potholes depth of pot holes exc 30 mm, not exc 1sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc.cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat VG-10, @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air blower to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat paving bitumen primer VG-10, @ 5 kg per 10 sqm of surface and laying bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm (consolidated thickness) using crushed graded stone aggregate mixed with binder content of paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder contents by weight of total mix by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 Tonne capacity power roller including preparation of bitumen carpet in digital computarized weigh batch hot mix plant, complete all as specified. Note: The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). for the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 5.5% binder by weight of total mix. However, the work shall be executed as per approved design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus) in quantity of binder priced at supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer).

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam (design mix) with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and premixed material laid with mechanical paver finished including rolling to required camber and gradient (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction, complete all as specified and directed. Note: The quantity of bitumen shall be provided as per Design mix approved by GE. (The cost of transportation of the material to the Govt approved lab and design mix charges shall be borne by the contractor). for the purpose of quoting, the contractor shall consider 4% binder by weight of total mix. However, the work shall be executed as per approved design and price adjustment shall be done only for variation (plus or minus) in quantity of binder priced at supply only rate of bitumen (as per purchase voucher of main producer).

M&L for applying evenly priming/ tack coat paving bitumen primer VG-10, @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of surface, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Solar road studs having 3 LEDs of colours red/ yellow to a side (125 x 125 mm) of height 20mm with built in stem-nail 30mm x 50 mm long for fixing with epoxy LEDs, solar-cells, battery and light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet roof system workable for 2-3 days (nights) after full charge in 8-10 hours, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 80cm dia convex mirror made from single piece polycarbonate sheet not less than 2 mm thick mounted on PVC frame and fixed on 50mm bore 2.25m high stainless steel pipe (wall thickness 1.6mm) embedded in PCC 30cmx30cmx45cm deep below ground of mix 1:3:6 type C-1 including necessary earthwork/ excavation etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L of new/ old black top surface road surface and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint 2 mm thick for longer durability with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160 degree celcius. Paint material shall be conforming to Ministry of surface transport (MOST) specification 803.4 Vol - I as laid down in specification of road / bridge work "third revision" after cleaning surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.
