M&L for earthing with Galvanised Iron Earth Plate Electrode 600X600X6mm size buried directly in Ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 METRE below Ground Level with the Top Edge of Earth Plate at a depth not less than 1.50 METRE below Ground Level connected to Galvinased earth lead wire 4.0mm dia by means of Bolts, Nuts, Check Nuts and Washers of Galvanised Steel, Earth Plate Electrode surrounded by a packed thickness of Char Coal or Coke Dust mixed with common Salt in alternate layers not exc. 150mm thick including Galvanised Iron Pipe 25mm Bore (dia) Light Grade, upto test points above the Floor Level of the Building situated including PCC Pit in Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (20mm Graded Stone Agg-regate) and RCC Cover of size 540X540X50 mm in RCC 1:2:4 (20mm Graded Stone Aggregate) einforced with and including 8.0mm dia TMT Bars @ 100mm centre to centre both ways complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:- (I) item includes the cost of 7.5 mtr length GI pipe for protection for GI earth wire. (ii) item rates includes the cost of 7.5 mtr earth lead GI earth wire. (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow, etc. shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Supply & laying of GI pipe 25 mm bore light grade for protection of UG cable complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
