Notes applicable to Schedule ‘A’ :- (i) The items considered in this Schedule ‘A’ are for fault repair and maintenance at MFFR. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included this aspect. (ii) The contractor must deploy a dedicated fault investigation and rectifying team and contractor must attend the complaint within 24 Hours and resolve within 48 Hours. If contractor fails to rectify the fault within 48 hours, a penalty at the rate of Rs. 1000/- per day shall be imposed on the contractor after 24 hours till the fault is rectified. A complaint Log Book in this regard shall be maintained by the contractor duly signed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No. 2.00 here-in-before but depth exc 1.5m and not exc 3m complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil/material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F pre-stressed concrete pole 9 metre long of cross section 102mm x 172mm at the top and 102mm x 279mm at bottom, class 10, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998 with & including two coats of synthetic enamel paint in alternate black and yellow strips 30 cm each upto 1.5 metre height from PCC coping/pedestal and marking pole number in letters & figures of size not less than 8cm height, including taking out old unserviceable pole complete all as specified & as directed Note :- Excavation, earthwork, PCC in foundation & coping shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations of poles, filling, mass concrete and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Volume of pole/strut embedded in concrete shall be deducted for the purpose of payment.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations of stay assembly, filling, mass concrete and similar works, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dry sand (Local Tibba sand) and punning for cushioning and cover for protection of under ground electric cable complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Approved local Tibba dry sand free from vegetations, grass and other deleterious substances shall be used. (ii) For the purpose of payment, only punned thickness shall be measured.

M&L for sub class ‘B’ (old size) burnt clay bricks laid flat and dry abutting each other with gap between adjacent bricks not exc. 10mm for protection of underground electric cable in such a way that the length of brick is at right angle to the central axis of cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing LT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable (heavy duty) with aluminium stranded conductor 1100 Volt grade of cross sectional area 120 Sqmm, 3.5 Core (ISI marked) laid in trenches/ducts, through pipe, under floors or roads/ along poles etc, including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable LT cable, complete all as specified & as directed. Notes :- (i) Sand cushioning, cable protection, GI protection pipe, jointing kits and excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid for separately. (ii) Road cutting/floor cutting /cutting holes etc in walls required for laying/fixing of cable etc shall be made good as per existing. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Supply and fixing in replacement for two core PVC insulated weather proof cable with aluminium conductor size 4 sqmm (nominal area) & drawing into hollow street light pole from fitting to junction box or fitting to cover head line complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of change over switch 200 Amp, four pole, 415 volt, cubical type and including making fixing arrangement in existing LT control panel and with proper connection of as per existing system complete all as specified & as directed. Make : C&S Cat Part CSSDF200B4CO or equivalent Cat Part in make CG/L&T/Siemens /Alstom.

Repair the following work to existing bus bar chamber (Pillar box) outdoor cubical type factory made vermin protected dust proof, water proof made out of MS sheet 1.6mm thick and 50cmx6mm thick angle iron base frame having insulated bus bar aluminum 200 Amp capacity 3 Phase with neutral bus bar including fixing in PCC bed block complete all as required at site and complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge with following :

Welding of brocken /cracked joints of the feeder pillar box

Replacement to locking arrangement of the feeder pillar box as per sample existing

Painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint after applying one coat of red oxide as per primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of U/S feeder Pillar box outdoor cubical type factory made vermin protected dust proof with canopy, water proof made out of MS sheet 1.6mm thick and 50x6mm thick angle iron base frame having insulated bus bar aluminum 200 Amp capacity 3 Phase with neutral bus bar including fixing in PCC bed block complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boring of holes of 80/100mm bore under road, pavement, hard standing, etc by trench less technology using necessary machine / manually without disturbing the top surface suitable for passing the GI protection pipe / cables, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 50mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

M&L for Galvanized iron tubing, 40mm bore light grade, ISI marked, including all fittings and laid in trenches/under road/drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size of flat iron (25mmx3mm) clamps, bolts, nuts and washers for protection of HT electric cable including taking down old unserviceable protection pipe with clamps complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

S&F Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of any size as directed, stringing for overhead line on 11 KV HT poles including jointing with and including aluminium binding wire 2 mm dia, jumpers, line tapes, conducting jelly, stretching properly and connecting with suitable PG clamps, etc including dismantling and taking down old existing unserviceable aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) of any size/ type/ capacity, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) The ACSR conductors shall conforming to IS-398 (Part-II) and as specified in SSR Part-I. (ii) The unit rate quoted shall also deemed to include for supply and fixing of binding wire, aluminium tapes, etc which shall not be included in the weight of conductors for payment. (iii) Weight of conductors shall be determined by measuring the horizontal distance between centers of two adjacent poles and compounding the weight of conductors of that size and length and 3% extra shall be added for sag, jointing, jumpers etc. (iv) Weight of the conductors shall be calculated from the nominal weights given in tables in the relevant IS code.

M&L for repairing of broken ACSR vessal / squarel / ferrot / mink conductor after proper shutdown of electric supply and jumpring /cut points changing the damaged / burned conductor, cable ends, change over MCCBs conductor broken due to wind/ storm and binding with the aluminium wire etc and changing the damaged pin/ disc insulators and replace the broken conductor, repairing the faults in the 11/0.44 KV outdoor/ indoor electric panels at sub stations complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Cost of fues wire minor spares, aluminium binding wire shall be deemed included in the above quoted items. (ii) Cost of items that is pin insulator, disc insulator etc shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iii) Contractor take complaints from complaints cell (JE E/M) and rectify the same day and duly singed by the users and deposited the same. one down break down / complaint by attended shall be Each Job.

S&F Pin type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green for working pressure 11000 Volts, 150mm height and 150mm dia including galvanized mild steel spindle, two Nos GI washers, one No GI nut, including dismantling & taking down old unserviceable insulator, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 Volts, including dismantling & taking down old unserviceable insulator, complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Maintenance Free battery capacity 80 AH, 12 Volts with proper copper wire complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for Earthing to equipments with & including galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried vertically in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 m below ground level, the earth electrode surrounded by adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm on all sides, connected to & including galvanized iron earth wire 4 mm dia as earth lead, including nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanized iron or steel and riveted to earth plate at one end and other end of earth wire connected to transformer / GOD / Panel / equipment body / test point, GI earth wire encased in and including 15mm bore GI light grade pipe with all fittings from upper edges of earth plate upto 7.5 metre above ground level fixed with and including 25x3mm flat iron clamps, bolts, nuts and washer and also including providing watering pipe 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade from earth pit to top of electrode and including funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs etc complete with earth pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and 40mm thick RCC (1:2:4 type B1) cover complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including necessary excavation and earthwork in any type of soil, returning, filling in approved soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed including dismantling & taking out old existing unserviceable earthing. Note : PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.
