STANDING ORDER FOR CARRYING OUT BALANCE CIVIL AND MISCELLANEOUS WORKS ON CALL UP BASIS AT HBL INTEGRATED SUGAR PLANT AT SUGAULI, EAST CHAMPARAN AND LAURIYA, WEST CHAMPARAN, BIHAR

Earthwork excavation for foundations, pits, plinth beams, etc. up to 2.10 m depth below existing ground level in all types of soil excluding hard rock, including dressing and leveling of sides and bottom, dewatering/bailing out of water if encountered, providing necessary shoring and strutting, and disposal of surplus excavated earth within or outside HBL premises to an approved / unobjectionable location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including spreading, watering, leveling and compaction complete in all respects. The rate shall include all labour, tools & tackles, equipment, lead, lift, royalties and incidental charges complete.

Earthwork excavation for foundations, pits, plinth beams, etc. below 2.10 m and up to 3.50 m depth existing ground level in all types of soil excluding hard rock, including dressing and leveling of sides and bottom, dewatering/bailing out of water if encountered, providing necessary shoring and strutting, and disposal of surplus excavated earth within or outside HBL premises to an approved/unobjectionable location as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, including spreading, watering, leveling and compaction complete in all respects. The rate shall include all labour, tools & tackles, equipment, lead, lift, royalties and incidental charges complete.

Excavating trenches by mechinical / manual means of required width for pipes, cables, etc upto 80 mm dia including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, for all depth, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Excavating trenches by mechinical / manual means of required width for pipes, cables, etc more than 80 mm dia up to 300 mm dia including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, for all depth, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Excavating trenches by mechinical / manual means of required width for pipes, cables, etc more than 300 mm dia up to 600 mm including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, for all depth, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Backfilling around foundations, trenches, plinth beams, pits, etc. with approved excavated earth in layers not exceeding 200 mm compacted thickness, including breaking clods, watering, ramming and compacting to required density complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include all labour, tools & tackles, equipment and incidental charges complete. Measurement for payment shall be based on compacted volume.

Supply and filling of approved local river sand in plinth, foundations, under footings, around foundations, trenches, etc. in layers not exceeding 200 mm compacted thickness, including conveying, spreading, watering, ramming, compacting, consolidating and dressing to required levels, grades and densities complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include cost of sand, loading, unloading, transportation, royalty, all leads and lifts, labour, tools & tackles, equipment and all incidental charges complete. Measurement for payment shall be based on compacted volume.

Providing and laying damp-proof course (DPC) 40 mm thick in cement concrete of proportion 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand, Zone-III, derived from natural sources : 4 graded stone aggregate of 12.5 mm nominal size, derived from natural sources), including preparation and cleaning of the surface, laying, compacting and finishing the concrete to the required line, level, slope and thickness, with necessary curing, all complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. Rate shall include all materials, labour, tools, plant, equipment, transportation, loading/unloading, mixing, laying, compaction, finishing, curing and all incidental works necessary for satisfactory completion of the DPC.

Providing and laying Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) in leveling course of nominal mix 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse Sand : 8 Graded Stone Aggregate) using 40 mm and down graded stone aggregates, including batching, mixing, conveying, laying, compacting with mechanical vibrators, finishing to required line, level and slope, curing, and all necessary formwork/shuttering complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall include cost of all materials, labour, machinery, tools & tackles, water, curing, formwork, all leads and lifts and incidental charges complete. Measurement for payment shall be based on finished concrete volume.
