M&L for dismantling the cable connections of four pole/ three pole Air circuit breaker of capacity 800 to 1250 Amps ,415 V 50 HZ of L&T Make/C&S/GE/ABB make, strip opening the Air circuit breaker, inspecting the parts for serviceability/overhauling complete and carrying out the following repairs/maintenance :- a) Cleaning the insulation parts including bushings with CTC solution. b) Checking the alignment and condition of movable and stationary contacts and adjust them all as per manufacturer's instructional manual c) Check the bolts, nuts, washers, cotter pins and all terminal connections are in place and tights. Replace the worn-out parts. d) Check arching contact for damage . e) Clean and lubricate the operating mechanism with a light machine oil for pins and bearings and with a non-hardening grease for the wearing surfaces . Adjust breaker operating mechanism all as per manufacturer's instructional manual . f) Checking / inspecting shunt trip coil for serviceability and replacing the same if required. g) Checking control device free for operation. j) Check after servicing the circuit breaker to verify the contacts move to the fully opened and fully closed positions, that there is an absence of friction and that the electrical operation is functional Note : The rate quoted deemed to be inclusive of T&P and minor spares like lubricants, nuts/bolts/washers/ pins etc. Major spares like Shunt release & trip coil/motor etc will be measured & paid separately under relevant schedule items

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level ) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to main GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth strip by means of bolts ,nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No. 3, including exc , and earth work in any type of soil disposal of soil providing alternate layers of charcol and common salt construction of PCC earth chamber in mix 1:3:6 type C-1 with 40 mm thick 1:2:4 type B-1 cover reinforced with 8 mm dia MS bars both ways with lift hook made out of 8 mm dia bar,watering arrangement. Note : Main earth strip beyond 7.5 meter shall be measured and paid saperatly. Taking down old unserviceable dilapidated chemical earthing are included in quoted rate. M&L for painting on old painted surface of LT panels by brushing/cleaning stains & grease spots with thinner and sand paper and painting the cleaned surface with synthetic enamel paint (Light gray) Shade No 631 or as approved by the Engr-in-charge to achieve good finish by applying two coats of paint by spray painting machine carefully after disconnection of power supply and covering the meters, indicators relays and switches to prevent from fall of paint drops on the panels including writing, number, letter etc with white paint on newly painted surfaces details as given by Engr-in-charge

S&F in repairs MS sheet covers/doors of any thickness and shape for LT panels including required fabrication,welding,cutting etc and fixing of hinges, including locking arrangement as per site requirement all as specified and directed at site.

Disconnecting electrically switch boards/ electric panels/ distribution boards of any size by taking proper electric shut down, opening cables from MCCBs/DBs/main switches/panels, cutting of unserviceable/burnt out//overheated cable ends/ thimbles etc including excavation /earthwork etc and M&L for fixing of new aluminium lugs of any size up to 300 sqmm as required at site, insulation of all necked wires as per existing colour code, re-fixing/re-assembling as per existing system.Note :- (i) any addition/alteration required included in the quoted rate in the items. (ii) All consumable items such as lugs/cable piece etc required at site included in the quoted rate in the items.
