Note:(i) Solar module and SPV cells used in the module should essentially be indigeneously manufactured in India (ii). Solar panel to panel earth wire connection: Supply, laying & testing required qty as per site requirment of single core 6sqmm copper conductor cable conforming to relevant IS weather proof, rated voltage 1100V grade with and including suitable type of copper lugs, all as specifed and as directed to connect all the PV modules structurees to earthing systemcomprising 25x3mm Al strip roof conductor existing on the roof.

Protection Pipe for 6 sqmm copper cable[ Inter connection of Solar PV modules, connection to DC Control Box and Connection from DC Control Box to Inverter (Item 1.04) , Solar panel earth wire connection (Item 1.11), Earth wire connection of DC control box, Invertor & AC control box (Item 1.12)] : M&L High density polyethylene pipes (HDPE) of min 16 sqmm dia and pressure rating 6 kgf/cm2 required qtyfor protection of copper cable as per site requirment laid in fixed on wall with GI support included complete all as specifed and directed.
S & F aluminium strip 25mm x 3.15mm fixed with FRP saddles & fixing screws of size not less than 4 mm dia and 32 mm long for connection to existing roof lightning protection complete all as specified and directed.
Integration of PV Power with Grid : The output power from SPV would be fed to the inverter which converts DC produced by SPV array to AC and feeds it into the main electricity grid after synchronization. Incase of grid failure/ low or high voltge, solar PV system shall be out of synchronization and shall be disconnected from the grid. Once DG set comes into service the PV system shall again be synchronized now with DG supply and load rquirement would be met to the extent of availability of power. 4 pole isolation of inverter output with respect to the grid/ DG power connection need to be provided.
Metering : Three 3 Phase Solar Bi-Directional Meter Electronic energy meter 415V upto range 100A (0.5 Class accurcy) of suitable current capacity of any reputed make acceptable to company shall be installed for the measurement of import/ Export of energy. Meter must be provided with all the necessary data cables. The meter to be supplied must be tested from any of the NABL/ BIS Accredited Testing Calibration Laboratories. it shall also comply with the requirement of CEA Regulations on "Installation and Operation of Meter". The energy meter shall be installed at the incoming of the grid interfacing LT panel. Make: L&T/SECURE
M&L for civil works required for SPV panel supports , control box, invertor fixing etc shall be same rate, complete all as specifed and directed.
(vii) Drawings : The Contractor shall furnish the following details for approval of accepting officer prior to the commencement of the work :- (a) General arrangement and dimensioned layout. (b) Schematic drawing of the plant showing the SV panels, Power conditioning inverter, Junction Boxes, AC and DC Distribution Boards, meters etc. (c) Structural drawing of the mounting structure. (d) Layout of solar Power Arrays and strings (e) Shadow analysis of the roof (viii) On completion of project contractor shall provide Two sets of following : (a) Structural drawings. (b) Electrical drawings. (c) O&M manuals of each equipment showing complete technical data sheet including deatils of specifications and makes. (d) Details of synchronization equipment and protection equipment. (e) Design of solar power plant to be vetted by NISE or independent agency approved by MNRE. (ix) Display Board: The contractor to put up a display board of suitable size and type of material at the project site mentioning the following: Plant Name, Capacity, Location, Date of commissioning, Warranty details, CA no., MES Office, Power generation, Name of the contractor, Contact number for Maintenanace, etc. (x)Test Reports / Certificates of PV Modules, Solar cells and Invertor to be submitted by the contractor.
M&L Galvanised iron strip 25x4 mm burried in ground/fixed on wall complete all as specified and directed .
M&L Test point terminal block made of gun metal of phosphorous bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25 mm long hex head screw complete all as specified and direceted.

Supply and laying of 3.5 Core 35 sqmm XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty 1100 V grade UG cable with multistranded aluminium conductor in trenches/wall/pipe/floor with suitable cable glands,aluminium legs etc complete all as specified and directed. Supply, install, test and commission indoor type feeder piller box (FPB) made of 2.0 mm thick CRCA sheet factory made powder coating weather proof top canopy and protect from high saline climate sheet front operated cubical type 3 phase 4 wire AC 415 V with necessary angle iron frame and MS channel for bottom base and separate compartment for MCCB/ electrical panel/ bus bar chamber with cubical type front and rear opening door (double door type) with locking arrangement with necessary hinges prewired with adquate size of cable and incoming and outgoing cable connections with cable glands lungs etc and bedded in suitable size PCC 1:3:6 type C1 platform etc complete all as specified with including the following :-
(a) 250 Amps Aluminium bus bar chamber for phase and half neutral. (b) MCCB 4 P 125A Amps (mincroprocessor release, Lcs=100% Icu- breaking capacity 16KA -01 Nos (c) RYB indication - 3 Nos (d) Ammeter digital type with ASS- 1 No (e) Voltmeter digital type with VSS- 1 No (f) MCCB 4P 63 amps (microprocessor release, Ics=100% Icu) breaking capacity 16 KA - 2 Nos (g) MCCB 4P 100 Amps (microprocessor release, Ics=100% Icu) braking capcity 16KA -02 Nos (h) CT 250/1A- 3 Nos (j) MCB 6 amps SP 10 KA- 3 Nos
Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in depth and getting out in soft soil for laying of cables, foundation of poles, and stay assembly complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and laying Sand coarse dry as in cushioning of under ground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable & 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness all complete as specified and as directed.
S&L well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks (using old size brick) laid in trenches above sand cushioning for cable protection complete.
Returning, filling in (Soil) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.
Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.
