Construction of 40MVA Transformer Bay including Extension of 33KV Switchyard alongwith other associated Works at 132KV S.A.S. Sub Station Bilsi with all Cost of Men, Materials, Misc. Consumables, T&Ps etc. Required for Satisfactory Completion of the Work as per Technical Specifications and Direction of the Supervising Engineer as per Site Requirement and Details below :
Construction of 132KV Transformer Bay
(1) Supply of Bolted type Single Tension Fitting Assembly, suitable for Single ACSR Panther Conductor & 132KV Disc Insulator String comprising of 10 No. 70 KN Disc Insulators, complete with Hardware Fittings, D-Shackle, Socket Eye, Ball Hook, Tension Clamp etc., as per Sample.
(2) Supply of Bolted type Single Tension Fitting Assembly, suitable for Single ACSR Panther Conductor & 132KV Disc Insulator String comprising of 10 No. 70 KN Disc Insulators, complete with Hardware Fittings, D-Shackle, Socket Eye, Ball Hook, Tension Clamp etc., as per Sample.
(3) Supply of PG Clamp duly made of LM-6 Aluminium Alloy, suitable for ACSR Panther to ACSR Panther Conductor complete with 4 No. 16 × 90 mm size G.I. Bolts, Nuts, Spring & Plain Washers, as per Sample.
(4) Supply of PG Clamp duly made of LM-6 Aluminium Alloy, suitable for ACSR Moose to ACSR Panther Conductor complete with 4 No. 16 × 90 mm size G.I. Bolts, Nuts, Spring & Plain Washers, as per Sample.
(5) Supply of PG Clamp duly made of LM-6 Aluminium Alloy, suitable for ACSR Panther to ACSR Panther Conductor complete with 3 No. 16 × 75 mm size G.I. Bolts, Nuts, Spring & Plain Washers, as per Sample.
(6) Supply of 132KV Post Insulator Clamp duly Made of LM-6 Aluminium Alloy, suitable for 132KV Post Insulator & Single ACSR Panther Conductor, complete with G.I. Bolts, Nuts, Spring & Plain Washers, as per Sample.
(7) Transportation of Galvanized Sub Station Structures from EFU Naini, Prayagraj to 132KV S.A.S. Sub Station Bilsi, Budaun (Approx. Distance 600 Km) :
(a) Sorting, Weighing & Loading of Galvanized Sub Station Structures on Private Trucks to be Arranged by the Contractor at EFU Naini, Prayagraj
(b) Safe Transportation of Galvanized Sub Station Structures by Private Trucks duly Arranged by the Contractor from EFU Naini, Prayagraj to S.A.S. Sub Station Bilsi Budaun including Toll Charges. (1 Job per Truck)
(c) Unloading of Galvanized Sub Station Structures from the Trucks, then Sorting & Proper Stacking of same at Safe Storage Place at the Sub Station.
(8) Laying & Stringing of 132KV 3 Jack Bus Bar & Transfer Bus Bar including Hoisting of Disc Insulator Strings, Tension Fittings etc. alongwith Shifting of the Conductors / Materials from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site as per Details below :
(a) Stringing of 132KV 3f Jack Bus Bar of Single ACSR Moose Conductor. (1 Job for each Phase of Bus Bar per Section)
(b) Stringing of 132KV 3f Transfer Bus Bar of Single ACSR Panther Conductor. (1 Job for each Phase of Bus Bar per Section)
(9) Erection of Following Structures & Equipments including their Shifting from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site :
(a) Lattice type Main Structures
(b) 132KV SF6 C.B.
(c) 132KV C.T.
(d) 132KV P.T.
(e) 132KV L.A.

(10) Jumpering of Equipments of 40MVA Transformer Bay with the help of ACSR Panther Conductor to Connect the Bus Bar Conductor of Main Bus & Transfer Bus with Equipments and Equipments to Equipments with the help of suitable Clamps / Connectors including, Cutting, Bending, Shaping etc. of the Conductor as per Site Requirement.
(11) Laying of Following sizes Control Cables in Cable Trenches from Control & Relay Panels in Control Room to various Equipments, Junctions Boxes etc. in Switchyard as per Cable Schedule including Shifting of Cables in Drums from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site and Shifting Back the Balance Cables to Stores at the Sub Station :
(a) 2C x 2.5 mm2
(b) 4C x 2.5 mm2
(c) 6C x 2.5 mm2
(12) Termination of various sizes above Laid Control Cables Extending D.C. Supply from DCDB and A.C. Supply from ACDB to Control Panels & Equipments including Drilling of Holes, Providing & Fixing of Cable Glands, Ferrules & Crimping type Lugs.
(13) Making of Shielding Mesh for 132KV LAs by Fabrication of 3 Meter long Electrodes with 36 mm dia. M.S. Rod Bar having 150 mm long Conical Shape and then its Piercing Vertically in the Ground with Top 500 mm below Ground Level, Jointing the Electrodes with 75 × 10 mm size M.S. Flat by Welding for making of Mesh, Connecting the Shielding Mesh with Main Earth Mat at 2 Places and finally, Painting of the Shielding Mesh / Earthing Strips with Anti-Corrosive Paint, with due Digging of Earth / Trench & its Back Filling.
(14) Earthing by Cutting, Straightening & Laying 500 mm below Inside Ground & above Ground of following sizes M.S. Flats for Diagonal / Double Earthing of the Main & Aux. Structures, Equipments and Cable Trenches including Welding with Main Earth Mat and with the Object to be Earthed including Excavation of Trenches & its Back Filling etc. as per Details below :
(a) Earthing of LAs with 75 × 10 mm size M.S. Flat.
(b) Earthing of Main & Aux. Structures and Equipments (CB, Isolators, CTs, PTs, C&R Panel, DPP, Junction Boxes etc. with 50 × 6 mm size M.S. Flat.
(c) Earthing of Cable Trench with 25 mm × 6 mm / 25 × 5 mm size M.S. Flat
(15) Painting of M.S. Earthing Strips by Rubbing with Sand Paper & Wire Brush, then Painting with 1 Coat of Red Oxide Primer & 2 Coats (The 2nd Coat of Paint shall be Applied at the Gap of 48 hrs. when 1st Coat of Paint is done & Checked by concerned S.D.O.. / J.E.) of 1st Quality Synthetic Enamel Paint of Asian / Berger / Nerolac make in Bus Green / Black Colour as per Details below :
(a) 75 × 10 mm size M.S. Earthing Strip in Bus Green Colour.
(b) 50 × 6 mm size M.S. Earthing Strip in Bus Green Colour.
(c) 25 × 6 mm / 25 × 5 mm size M.S. Earthing Strip in Black Colour.
(16) Providing of 3 Phase L.T. A.C. Supply Cubical of size 1200 × 600 × 500 mm with Hinged Door and Proper Locking Arrangement duly made of 16 SWG M.S. Sheet and Painted with Grey Colour Synthetic Enamel Paint. The L.T. A.C. Supply Cubical should be Fitted with 3 No. 100 Amp. Copper Neutral Link, 4 No. 100 Amp. Aluminum Bus Bar (3 Phase + Neutral), 5 No. 32 Amp. TPN MCB, 6 No. 40 Amp. DP MCB, 40 No. Link type Terminal Bock, Cable Glands etc. with Internal Wiring and then Installation on M.S. Angle Frame Structure duly Grouted in Ground by due Construction of Concrete Plinth.
(17) Earthing of L.T. A.C. Supply Cubical with Providing & Fixing of 600 × 800 × 8 mm size G.I. Plate with its Top At Least 3 Meter below the Ground Level with 20 mm dia. G.I. Pipe & Funnel for Watering, 1 No. 8 SWG G.I. Wire Earthing Lead etc. with Alternate Layer of Charcoal / Coke and Salt At Least 150 mm Thick Around it.
(B) Construction of 33KV Transformer Bay
Construction of 1 No. 33KV Transformer Bay by Extension of existing 33KV Switchyard & 33KV Main Bus, Construction of 33KV Transfer Bus alongwith other associated Works at 132KV S.A.S. Sub Station Bilsi, with all Cost of Men, Misc. Consumables, T&Ps etc. required for Satisfactory Completion of the Work as per Technical Specifications and Direction of the Supervising Engineer, as per details below :
(1) Erection of Lattice type Structures including their Shifting from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site as per details below :
(a) Lattice type Main Structures
(b) Lattice type Auxiliary Structures
(2) Laying & Stringing of 33KV 3f Main & Transfer Bus Bars including Hoisting of Disc Insulator Strings, Tension Fittings etc. alongwith Shifting of the Conductors, Bus Bar Fittings, Disc Insulators etc. from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site as per details below :
(a) Stringing of 33KV 3f Main Bus Bar (1 Job for each Phase of each Section of the Bus Bar).
(b) Stringing of 33KV 3f Transfer Bus Bar of Single ACSR Moose Conductor (1 Job for each Phase of each Section of the Bus Bar).
(3) Erection of following Equipments / Items including their Shifting from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site :
(a) 33 KV V.C.B.
(b) 33 KV C.T.
(c) 33 KV L.A.
(d) 33 KV 3f Bus Isolator with associated Post Insulators & without Earth Blades
(e) 33KV C.T. Junction Box

(4) Jumpering of Equipments of 33KV Bays with the help of Twin / Single ACSR Panther Conductors to Connect the Bus Bar Conductors of Main & Transfer Bus with Equipments and Equipments to Equipments with the help of suitable Clamps / Connectors including, Cutting, Bending, Shaping etc. of the Conductor as per Site Requirement alongwith Shifting of required Materials from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site, as per details below :
(a) Jumpering of 1 No. 33KV Feeder Bays & 1 No. Transfer Bus Coupler Bay to Connect with the help of Twin / Single ACSR Panther Conductors to Connect the Bus Bar Conductors of Main & Transfer Bus with Equipments and Equipments to Equipments with the help of suitable Clamps / Connectors. (1 Job for each Bay)
(b) Jumpering of 1 No. 33KV Feeder Bays to Connect with the help of Twin / Single ACSR Panther Conductors to Connect the Bus Bar Conductors of Main Bus with Equipments and Equipments to Equipments with the help of suitable Clamps / Connectors. (1 Job for each Bay)
(4) Laying of following sizes Control Cables in Cable Trenches from Control & Relay Panels in Control Room to various Equipments, Junctions Boxes etc. in Switchyard as per Cable Schedule in 6 No. 33KV Feeder Bays & 1 No. 33KV Transfer Bus Coupler Bay including its Saddling with 25 × 3 mm size Aluminum Strips at suitable equal distance alongwith Shifting of Cables in Drums from Storage Place at the Sub Station to Erection Site & Shifting Back the Balance Cables to Stores at the Sub Station :
(a) 2C x 2.5 mm2
(b) 4C x 2.5 mm2
(c) 6C x 2.5 mm2
(5) Interconnection & Termination of various sizes above laid Control Cables between 33KV Triple Feeder C&R Panels to various Equipments & Equipments to Equipments in 1 No. 33KV Feeder Bays & 1 No. 33KV Transfer Bus Coupler Bay including Extending D.C. Supply from DCDB and A.C. Supply from ACDB to C&R Panels and various Equipments including Making necessary Holes in Gland Plats wherever required alongwith Providing & Fixing of appropriate sizes Cable Glands, Providing of Ferrules for each Core of the Cables, then Termination with Crimping type Copper Lugs alongwith Preparation of Inter-Connection Drawing and Commissioning of the Panel / Feeders in Co-ordination with T&C Wing including Providing of 2 Sets of Hard Copies of as Executed Inter-Connection Drawing. (1 Job for each Bay)
(6) Cutting, Straightening & Laying 500 mm below inside Ground and above the Ground of M.S. Flats for Earthing of the Main & Aux. Structures, Equipments and Cable Trenches to Connect the same with Main Earth Mat & with the Object to be Earthed including Excavation of Trenches & its Back Filling etc. as per details below :
(a) Earthing of Main & Aux. Structures and Equipments (CBs, Isolators, CTs, PTs, Junction Boxes, Station Transformers, C&R Panels, Apex Energy Meter Cubical etc. with 50 × 6 mm size M.S. Flat.
(b) Earthing of Cable Trench with 25 mm × 6 mm / 25 × 5 mm size M.S. Flat
(7) Painting of M.S. Earthing Strips with 1 coat of Red Oxide Primer & 2 coats (The 2nd coat of Paint shall be applied at the gap of 48 hrs. when 1st coat of Paint is done & Checked by concerned A.E. / J.E.) of 1st quality Synthetic Enamel Paint of Asian / Berger / Nerolac make in Bus Green / Black Colour with all Cost of Materials after due Rubbing with Sand Paper & Wire Brush, as per details below :
(a) Painting of 50 × 6 mm size M.S. Earthing Strip in Bus Green Colour.
(b) Painting of 25 × 6 mm / 25 × 5 mm size M.S. Earthing Strip in Black Colour.
(8) Fabrication of Cable Support Structure for 33KV Power Cable with the help of Scrap M.S. Angle Pieces to be Provided by Department as per requirement by due Cutting, Straightening, Welding etc., then Painting of Support Structure with 1 coat of Red Oxide Primer & 2 coats (The 2nd coat of Paint shall be applied at the gap of 48 hrs. when 1st coat of Paint is done & Checked by concerned A.E. / J.E.) of 1st quality Synthetic Enamel Paint of Asian / Berger / Nerolac make in Black Colour with all Cost of Materials after due Rubbing with Sand Paper & Wire Brush.
