Pressure grouting through RCC columns, beams and slabs of G+3 upper floor building from terrace and external wall face including double bamboo scaffolding wherever required etc by drilling holes in RCC to required depth upto 165 mm depth without causing any damages to reinforcement, inserting 12mm' dia PVC grout pipe in hole securing the sides of the hole with cement mortar 1:2, pressure grouting with a mix of Acrylic Polymer Cement Grout with 10% of Polymer per 50 kg cement bag and continuing the pressure grouting till the flow of Polymer cement slurry stops, removing the PVC pipe, sealing the hole with Polymer modified mortar etc. ensure curing by applying curing compound etc. Complete all as per specification and directed by EIC. Note: Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved manufacturers Like M/s Astra, M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Providing and erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 50 to 75 mm dia best quality bamboos tied with coir rope and the horizontal and vertical members of the bamboos to be provided as required at spacings of not more than 900 mm apart both horizontally and vertically including providing cross supports as struts to the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance/ repair works of external surfaces of buildings as and when required including providing necessary safety belt and helmet to the workers, dismantling the scaffolding and taking back the scaffolding, safety belt and helmet after the repair works are completed including cost of transportation, labours, bamboos etc. complete all as per specifications and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1. The buildings are Ground+ 4 upper storied and the contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) - 1987. (Safety Code for scaffolds). 2. Labours working on the scaffolding should be with safety belts, helmets and they should wear the same while working. Labours seen not wearing safety belts and helmets shall be sent out of the work immediately and a penalty of Rs.1000.00 per person per day will be levied. 3. All working platform must be of minimum 600 mm wide, made of M.S pipe and must have guard rails as per specification. 4. The scaffolding once provided for the repair work shall be removed after the entire repair work is completed in all respects. 5. Suitable double nylon net with a mesh size of 25 mm shall be provided at 4 M. height from the ground level around the buildings upto a distance of minimum 3 M. from the edge of the building in all sides to catch any falling objects causing accidents. 6. Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling bodies coming out during the repair work is in progress. 7. To protect workers on lower platform against falling objects from higher level over head protection should be provided on the scaffolds. 8. Contractor has to provide nylon mesh and screen to avoid falling bodies at his own cost and no extra payment shall be made for same. 9. The workers engaged on the repair work are required to be insured as per Government norms at the cost of contractor.
Repairs to damaged RCC structural members at all locations/ floors using polymer modified cementatious mortar, for strengthening the existing RCC structural members using acrylic based polymer and comprising the following operations: Important Notes: 1) Breaking cracked/ spalled concrete members along the cracks with plaster, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site, simultaneous transportation and disposal at a location in Anushaktinagar as identified by EIC. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. 2) Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping/ wire brushing of using strong emery paper and finally by acetone/rust remover of Dr.fixit/Anuvi chemicals/Fosroc or other eqivalent. 3) Applying a coat of polymer and cement slurry in the ratio 1:1 by volume to the reinforcement bars. 4) Polymer required for the work shall be procured by the Agency from approved manufacturers Like M/s Astra, M/s Anuvi, M/s Apcotex or other approved equivalent manufacturer confirming to technical requirements as below and the invoices/challans etc to be submitted to EIC for record. Appearance: Milky White Ph-Value:9-10 Specific Gravity :1.055+/0.005 Solid Contents (%w/w)-:44+/-1 Viscocity at 25 Degree C temperature (In Sec ):15-20 Testing of the material as per relevant codes at NABL approved third party lab is to be done by the Agency for every batch/lot of supply 5) Bond coat should be applied @0.37ltr/layer/Sq.m 6) Minimum FM of silica sand should be 2.10
a) Building up with polymer modified cermentatious mortar for beams, columns etc. in layers not exceeding 20 mm (proportion cement 50 Kgs : 125 Kg. of silica sand : acrylic polymer liquid 10 Ltrs. with necessary bond coats (polymer : cement = 1:1 by volume) for the tack coat and also for subsequent layers using acrylic polymer approved by the department including curing, scaffolding and steel props for supporting structural member etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. NOTE: 1. Measurement shall be taken as per Kg consumption of polymer liquid only for above mentioned operation. 2. Polymer required for the work shall be supplied by contractor.
Jacketing and strengthening of R.C.C. column with free flow self compacting micro concrete made with Roff concrete Repair (Super flow micro concrete) manufactured by M/S. Roff construction chemical, (or) Renderoc RG manufactured by M/s. Fosroc chemicals (India) limited (or) ESSEN construction chemical or other approved equivalent make, which consist of dismantling loose concrete along with plaster, cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly with wire brush and finally with acetone, making micro concrete by mixing prepacked dry micro concrete and water in proportion as prescribed by the manufacture, mixing them thoroughly for 5 minutes for achieving free flow state of micro concrete, pouring the micro concrete in layers, compacting the concrete by blowing strokes with 16 mm steel rod, curing for 10 days (curing shall be commenced immediately after 4 hours of pouring concrete) etc. including providing shuttering and disposal of debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. NOTE: Measurement shall be taken as per actual consumption of pre-packed dry micro concrete in Kg. used for structural repairing work.
Sand faced cement plaster 20 mm thick in CM 1:4, two coats using factory manufactured pre mix/ready mix of 'Roofit Mix'of M/s Premier Floor to Roof Materials pvt.ltd/ 'Easy plast' of M/s Walplast Products pvt.ltd/ 'Readiplast' of M/s Ultratech Cement Ltd or other approved equivalent make, having minimum composition of C:S :: 1:4 using fully treated dry, well graded natural sand conforming to IS 383 suitable for external plastering, having low rebound properties, low water demand for curing properties, mechnical mixing with water in a metalic tray only to make good consistency as per the specification of the Manufacturer and applied over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces
Providing and applying three or more coats of acrylic elastomeric water proof exterior coating of Raincoat of M/s. Dr.FIXIT Apex Stretch of M/s. Asian Paints / Weather shield Max of M/s. ICI Deluxe or other approved equivalent make and shade over the sand face / form finished surfaces / rough cast plaster at all locations as required, thoroughly mixed and applied at an interval of 6-8 hours for each successive coats and ensure consumption of 0.46 liter/Sqm for 3 & more coats, including preparation of surface, cleaning and filling the cracks and crevices with Latex caulking crack filler etc. complete generally as per the manufacturer's specification and as directed by the EIC. 1) The surface shall be cleaned with water jet with high pressure water pump spray of at least 100 kg/sq.m. and brushing/ rubbing with coir to remove all foreign materials etc. before painting work. 2) The entire treatment shall stand guarantee for water tightness from external treated surfaces and for bone dry conditions for a period of Five ( 5 ) years .The guarantee shall be given on the regular format of the Department under Conditions of Contract. 3) Lower consumption less than as mentioned will be recovered @ Rs. 450/ltr
