REPAIR/ MAINTENANCE OF RETROFITTING TO OLD UNSV ACBS LT PANEL AND ITS WORK AT CABINET SECTT UNDER GE (E/M) BASE HOSPITAL DELHI CANTT-10

Notes for item Nos 1 and 2: (i) Work shall be carried out through authorised Rep of OEM i.e. Make- ABB/GE or auth channel partner of Make- ABB/GE only. The bidder have experience of retrofitting of minimum 100 ACBs. The bidder has to confirm that use of retrofit will not downgrade performance of breaker and no heating will take place at breaker power terminals and bus bar contacts. Rates shall be including for the following scope of work all as specified and directed:-

(a) The OEM must have its acquisition of GE Industrial Solutions (GEIS) equipment. Copy of the same shall be submitted while quoting rate by the contractor.

(b) Retrofitting of existing ACBs with OEM manufactured retrofit Kit without disturbing the existing bus-bar system in the panel at site. The retrofit kit design should be type tested (Temperature Rise) by OEM /NABL accreditation laboratory in accordance with IEC 60947-2 or IEC 60947-1. The bus bar support material should be of Epoxy insulated/ SMC/ FRP.

(c) Retrofit kit should be ready before start the job at site and the current carrying path is made up of ETP copper/ aluminium. Time for shutdown of elect supply for each ACB panel will not more than 3-4 hours including installation of testing with complete retrofit kit arrangement on site.

(d) The retrofit kit links should be directly connected to the existing bus bar terminals without any modification in the existing bus bar and the joints shall be TIN plated if required. The retrofit kit drill pitch should be in accordance with DIN standard.

(e) The cross-section area per phase of the retrofit kit shall be capable to carry the rated uninterrupted current of ACB (lu) without any derating factor. The bus bar support arrangement shall be designed in such a way that it can withstand the fault level equivalent to icw fault of ACB for 1 second.

(f) Dismantling to old breaker and cradle including replacement of necessary hardware including modification in the control wiring and interconnections shall be as per original schematics.

(g) Dismantling from cables connected to bus-bars and connection of old outgoing cables & interlocking the new links with old bus bars including removing of existing cradle & installing new one.

(h) Modification of existing panels/doors /breaker bus - bus bar arrangements/cubicles/wiring/schematic interconnections with other sections of the panel with similar shade of paint to complete panel.

(j) Rate shall be included for arrangement of cooling i.e. louvers arrangements.

(k) After insertion of new breaker, testing of the installation with megger and final testing of ACB with switching & tripping.

(l) The contractor shall submit certificate from OEM stating the material have supplied/ purchased from authorised channel partner/ service provider before starting the work at site.

(m) The cost shall be included for all T&P tackles required for installation, testing and commissioning shall be provided by the deptt.

(n) The contractor shall upload MOU or a letter from OEM i.e M/s ABB Ltd/GE stating that 'The work shall be carried out by OEM or their authorized channel partner' alongwith technical bid, failing which financial bid of bidder shall not be opened.

S&F in repair Neutral CT for Earth Fault protection in 4 Pole ACB's complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair panel doors made out of 2 mm thick, CRCA sheet, with 7 tank sheet treatment process and powder coating panels doors with required door lock and hardware complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair 3 Phase Digital Ammeter including wiring from CT to meter and Bus bar complete all as specified and as directed. Make: ABB cat part No M1M 10 (VAF Meter) or Schneider Model EM6433 or EM6436 or equivalent Model of Make mentioned in PS.

S&F in repair 3 Phase Multifunction Meter with & including wiring from CT to meter and Bus bar complete all as specified and as directed. Make: ABB cat part No M2M12 or Schneider Model DM6000 or DM6000H or equivalent Model of Make mentioned in PS.

S&F in repair CT 3200/5A CL-1 15VA Burden complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair CT 1600/5A CL-1 15VA Burden complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair LED Phase Indication Light complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair ON/OFF/Trip/ Ready to close indication including fixing charges and required wiring for ACB 's complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair Breaker Control Switch (TNC) to operate ACB's including fixing charges and required wiring for ACB's complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair Control MCB, 2 Amp, SP, for Indication Light including fixing charges and required wiring for ACB's complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Legrand Cat 4085 83 or equivalent Model of Make mentioned in PS.

Supply, laying (laying in ducts/ trenches/ on walls/ fitting on existing cable tray with new saddles & clamps etc as per site requirement), jointing, testing and commissioning XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, PVC sheathed electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade size 150 Sqmm, 3.5 core connecting to existing system with new cable aluminium lug and cable glands after disconnecting of old unsv and taking down old PVC cable complete all as directed.
