ITC of Horizontal split casing pumps (New Pumps shall be provided by the department ) at Bodella BPS with following works :-Dismantling of Existing Pump Set No. 4 & 5: Dismantling of existing centrifugal pump sets complete with slip-ring induction motors, couplings, suction side tapers, delivery piping / dismantle joints up to sluice valves, base frames, foundation bolts and all associated electro-mechanical equipment by disconnecting electrical/mechanical connections and removing/cutting foundation bolts. The work includes lifting, handling, shifting and stacking of dismantled materials at the designated location within BPS premises using EOT crane, chain pulley blocks, tools & tackles, including all labour, consumables, supervision and safety arrangements complete as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fixing of Blind Flanges on Suction & Delivery Side: Providing and fixing suitable MS blind flanges with gaskets, nuts and bolts on suction and delivery side valves after dismantling of pump sets to completely isolate the system and prevent backflow/leakage of water during execution of the work. The item includes providing temporary supports/bracing to delivery side valves and connected pipework, along with all materials, labour, tools & tackles required for safe and satisfactory completion of the work.

Breaking and Removal of Existing RCC Foundation: Breaking and dismantling of existing RCC foundation using power hammer/chipping hammer for removal of damaged concrete and extraction of old/loose foundation bolts from foundation pockets to facilitate installation of new pump foundation. The item includes collection, loading, transportation and disposal of dismantled concrete (malba) from the dry sump well/pump house to the designated dumping location outside the pumping station premises, complete with all labour, tools & tackles and incidental works as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of high tensile nuts-bolts and washers of assorted sizes conforming to relevant IS standards, suitable for pumps, pipeline, valve and mechanical connections, complete in all respects.

Supply of neoprene rubber packing sheet of approved quality, minimum 3–5 mm thick, oil, water and sewage resistant, suitable for flange joint sealing, complete in all respects as per site requirement and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, Fabrication and Installation of MS Base Frame: Supply, fabrication, and installation of heavy-duty MS base frame of suitable size made out of 200 × 100 mm MS channels along with structural steel sections such as angles and minimum 8 mm thick MS plates, suitable for mounting of horizontal centrifugal pump and motor set. The work shall include provision of cross members, stiffeners, gussets, machined mounting pads, slotted holes for precise alignment, anchor bolt arrangements, and anti-vibration neoprene pads. The base frame shall be of fully welded construction, properly leveled, straightened and finished to ensure rigidity and vibration-free operation. The item includes surface preparation, de-rusting, cleaning and application of one coat of zinc chromate/red oxide primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paint for corrosion protection as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fabrication and Supply of MS Taper/Gap piece (Delivery Side): Fabrication and supply of MS taper / Gap piece of required diameter made out of 10 mm thick MS sheet, duly rolled, welded and finished to proper shape and alignment. The taper shall be provided with 25 mm thick MS flanges on both ends (delivery side), drilled and matched with existing pipeline, complete with gasket seating arrangement, welding, machining, surface cleaning, application of anti-corrosive primer and finish painting. The item includes all labour, material, fabrication, transportation and delivery at site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fabrication and Supply of MS Taper / Gap piece (Suction Side): Fabrication and supply of MS taper / gap piece of required diameter made out of 10 mm thick MS sheet, duly rolled, welded and finished to proper shape and alignment. The taper shall be provided with 25 mm thick MS flanges on both ends (suction side), drilled and matched with existing pipeline, complete with gasket seating arrangement, welding, machining, surface cleaning, application of anti-corrosive primer and protective paint. The item includes all labour, materials, fabrication, transportation, handling and delivery at site as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and Fixing of Foundation Bolts, RCC Foundation and Base Frame Installation: Providing and fixing of foundation bolts of suitable size in fresh pockets including welding to MS reinforcement/jali, proper anchoring and filling with cement concrete (1:1.5:3) for firm grip. The work includes surface preparation of existing concrete with cement slurry bonding, construction of new RCC foundations of required grade (M25 or equivalent) with MS reinforcement as per structural design, including shuttering, compaction, curing, finishing and construction of RCC pedestals/supports for valves where required. The scope further includes placing, aligning and grouting/fixing of newly supplied MS base frame over the freshly cast RCC foundation using cementitious non-shrink grout and properly tightened foundation bolts and nuts, ensuring precise alignment in both horizontal and vertical directions as per pump set requirements. All works shall be executed as per relevant IS codes/specifications, safety standards, and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, including all labour, materials, tools, tackles and incidental works complete.

Supply of tyre type flexible coupling of suitable size and capacity for a newly 10 MGD pump and existing motor, designed to transmit full motor load efficiently without slip, shock, or vibration, suitable for normal alignment tolerances, complete with all necessary bushes/inserts, bolts, nuts and accessories, including making of key as per requirement, boring of coupling as per actual motor and pump shaft sizes, and fixing of the coupling on motor and pump shafts with proper tightening of key as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, Make: Unique / Fenner.
