Taking down old unserviceable point wiring, (light, fan, socket or power) complete including fittings & fixtures such as switch, ceiling rose, pendants, regulator, socket, etc., and making good the disturbed surface of wall, floors, ceiling etc to match with the existing including touch up of paint/white wash all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge.

M & L for Point wiring with 1.5 Sq mm single core copper conductor FRLS PVC insulated unsheathed 1100 Volts multi stranded drawn through and including rigid FRLS PVC rigid conduit and its accessories of suitable size, heavy grade ISI marked concealed on walls /roof and MS pressed steel terminal boxes of 1.6 mm thick of suitable size duly painted with red oxide metal primer including fixing/grouting sunken/ surface and making the adjacent surfaces smooth through POP work & painting as per site requirement incl provision of modular cover plates for mounting the switches / sockets/ regulators etc including running up of 1.5 Sq mm multi stranded copper conductor flame retardant PVC insulated cable as earth continuity conductor along with wiring and connecting to the common earth dolly all as specified for : (a) One light point controlled by one, one way switch 5 Amps

Taking down the ceiling / Exhaust fans of any model, size & sweep carefully from its original position and dismantling motor and over hauling complete by cleaning all dust / grease with kerosene or petrol, & replacement of unserviceable bearings, bushes, split pins and nut and bolts and applying new grease for bearings, reassembling the motor and fixing the blades, preparation old surfaces of fan of any sweep & model and painting the with synthetic enamelled paint by spraying including filling cavities and testing and refixing the same complete as directed by Engr in Charge, Note : Any Parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item as ''Supply only'' (s) of this schedule. However labour element involved in replacement is included in unit rate quoted against this Item.(ii). Any unforeseen minor repair and minor parts like Rubber bush, MS Clamps, split pins, base frames, nuts, bolts etc that are not covered under Item 35 to 39 but required to complete the repair work / smooth functioning of Fan Motor shall be deemed to be included with the unit rate .Transportation of Stator / Rotor parts for machining & rewinding, shaft / bushing for machining , welding , turning at lathe shop at Port Blair are also deemed to be included with unit rate.iii). Rewinding of stator / rotor of motor, any machine work where involved shall be measured and paid separately against relevant item of this schedule.

(e) M&L for rewinding the motor of Exhaust Fan 300 / 450 mm Sweep by unscrewing without damaging any parts, rewinding the same with fine quality of super enamelled copper winding wire of suitable size & Capacity including, varnishing ,drying etc, and refixing the stator and rotor perfectly to rotate smoothly and connection alongwith fixing of suitable fan capacitor complete including taking out burned unserviceable copper winding wire all as directed. Note for item No 38 & 39 :- Rates for incorporation of new fan capacitor of suitable capacities for smooth running of fans are deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rates
