REPAIR MAINTENANCE AND RENEWAL OF DISTRIBUTION BOARD EARTHING AND MISCELLANEOUS INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION AT VAYUSENA NAGAR, NAGPUR

Material and Labour to carry out Earth resistance test with well calibrated suitable earth resistance tester after opening the test points and recording the result in presence of MES/ Air force representative complete all as per IS 3043 of 1966 complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: - (i) Watering of earthing with 2 Buckets (30Ltrs) water mixed with salt (total 5 Kg) shall be carried out one day before the testing & the cost of the same shall deemed included in unit rate quoted. (ii) The result should be recorded in the result sheet and on building at place as directed. (iii) Two seprate team should be used for recording the test result and the Test result should be submitted to the AGE E/M Office on daily basis. Testing equipment & ladder has to be arranged by the contractor on his own.

Material & Labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel plate electrode, 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below nominal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than not less than 1.5 metres below nominal ground level connected to earthing lead of 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as shown in plate No. 3 of SSR PART 1 of 2020 to the earthing test point all as specified and as directed. Note :- The cost of excavation and earth work PCC pit and RCC cover funnel & watering pipe, wiremesh, charcoal dust and common salt earth lead protection pipe upto 7.5 Rmt shall deemed to be included in the unit rate for earthing complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.5 m below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 2.5m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 25X4 mm by means of electric arc welding of galvanised iron or steel as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part I, connected to earth test point and the equipment on the other side complete all as specified, including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) The unit rates quoted against this item shall deemed to be include the cost of excavation and earth work in any type of soil, common salt & charcoal dust in alternate layers, PCC 1:3:6 as in pit, precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with necessary reinforcement as in cover & frame for pit, funnel, watering pipe 20 mm bore GI pipe light grade, protection pipe 40mm bore GI pipe light grade etc. (b) The quoted rates shall deemed to ibe ncluded the cost of earth test point and earth strip/GI earthing and protection pipe upto 7.5 meter beyond the earth plates electrode.

Material & Labour for repairing of broken earthing pits chamber with PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 with funnel and wire mesh for watering pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for replacing of broken earthing pits cover with RCC (1:2:4) type B0, with funnel and wire mesh for watering pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing polypit chamber with polyplastic pit cover heavy grade of size not less than 300mmx300mmx300mm and painted with weather proof red paint and identification marking (cost of painting with weather proof red paint and identification marking shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for cutting / boring of PCC/hard standing at a depth not more than 30 cm deep and 30 cm in breadth for passing earthing conductor and making good the disturbed surfaces with PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 or cement mortar (1:3) complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / taking down old GI pipe and Supply and fixing of GI pipe light grade of size 15 mm bore for laying in trenches/floors or walls including all fittings for fixing complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling / taking down old GI earth wire and Material & Labour for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead 4 mm dia GI or steel wire fixed to wall on batten or recessed or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe all as required at site complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & Labour for Earthing complete with Copper plate earth electrode 600X600X3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meter below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to 20x3mm copper strip at two points by means of bolts and nut, check nut and washers including charcoal dust, common salt, necessary excavation in hard/dense soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance up to 50metres, PCC pit in 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm grade stone aggregate) RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm grade stone aggregate ) 50mm thick pit cover, reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 75mm c/c, both ways MS handle 12mm dia, GI funnel, wire mesh and GI watering pipe of 20mm bore GI (light grade) and earth lead protection pipe 32 mm bore (light grade) all as specified, directed and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Copper strip and protection pipes 40 mm GI light grade up to 7.5 metre is included in unit rate and beyond that the same will be measured separately.
