Repair /maintenance of DG Sets of capacity 3x 500 KVA Make :Cummins water cooled type Model KTA-19-G9,KTAA-19-G10,KTA-19-G9 through the OEM of M/S Cummins or authorized dealer of M/S Cummins for following plants and equipments by servicing/ descaling of raditior and replacing any type of spare Parts Sl No 2 as and when required related to DG Sets complete all as specified and directed with and including the following: - NOTE (a) The cost of spare and labour for any servicing minor and major repairs of DG Sets as and when required or as recommended by the OEM during inspection /analysis report (Except for spare listed sl no 2 here in after) shall be responsibility of the contractor and the unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include the cost of the same. (b) The service team from M/s Cummins or authorized dealer of M/S Cummins along with all technicians and engineers equipped with all required T&P shall visit the plant on monthly basis to carry out necessary inspection /servicing /repairing of the plant shall be submit the inspection /servicining report to Engr-in-charge. Any repair shall be inspection of carried out immediately (first inspection/servicinig shall be carried out with in 15 days from placing the work order or as directed by Engr-in-charge).

(c) In addition to the above mentioned servicing and repairing schedule any complaint/defect/ breakdown/falt in the DG sets system will be attend with 24 hours from the time of registering the complaint verbally /telephonically /via e-mail or any other mode of communication. (d ) In case of any breakdown /defect/fault in the DG sets due to which the DG sets is put of more than 24 hours the following penalties shall be imposed on the contractor. (i) Rs 5000 /-(Rupees five thousand only) shall be recovered for not attending the defec/fault within 24 hours from lodging the complaint telephonically /via email/verbally. (ii) Thereafter Rs 5000/-(Five thousand only) will be added for every subsequent 12 hours period till rectification of defect and making the plant functional (e) Contractor will provide Tele No Mob No and Email of his responsible persons and OEM who can be contacted in case of emergency to lodge the complaint along with his own details. (f) Original spare parts supplied by M/S Cummins will only be used for any replacement ,Spares arranged from any other source will not be allowed.(g) All consumables such as cotton waste, nut/bolts/washers,screws,cleaning agents gaskets and safety devices for workmen shall be provided by the contractor and unit rate quoted shall be deemed to the include the cost of the same. M/s Cummins or with authorized dealer of M/s Blue star will cover the following scope of work- (a) Inspection of DG Sets 03 Nos has to be carried out Monthly insepction. (b) Servicing of 03 Nos DG Sets has to be carried out Half yearly insepction. (c) Checking oil level,checking and rectification of leakage if any and filling with new oil up to required level. (d) Checking functioning of all all system and making adjustment for proper working. (e ) Checking moving system any abnormal sound &checking mounting /fixing arrangment. (f ) Checking of coupling and tighting of nut /bolts etc. (g) Checking of all switches. (h) Checking of batterys and tighting battery tirminal and couplings lid including tighting of nut and bolts. (i) Checking raditor water level checking any leakage any filling with new. (j) Checking the all indication system of DG sets and tightening properly including replacing burnt out/over heated cable ends if any.
