Excavation in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m deep for taking out/laying CI/GI/DI/UPVC pipe line as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc. 25cm thick layers complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material n .exc. 50m distance and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5m above from starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for horizontal boring below pavement/road in soft/loose soil for crossing 40mm to 150mm size of CI/GI/DI/UPVC pipe lines complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out CI pipe lines (including all fittings) from trenches of the following sizes with spigot & socket ends with burnning of lead joints, etc. including taking out lead from joints complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE : Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item here-in-above.

S&F as in repairs gun metal gate valve (ISI marked) with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe with union including taking down/out old existing unserviceable gate valves of the following sizes complete all as specified and as directed:-

S&F as in repairs of 150mm bore cast iron sluice valve Class PN-1.6 with flanged ends (ISI marked) complete with stainless steel spindle and cast iron cap including rubber/fiber board gasket, nuts, washers, including taking down old/unserviceable one all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No. 17 here-in-before but 100mm bore CI sluice valve, Class PN-1.6.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan n. exc. 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces on supporting pillar complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only alum crystal of approved quality with water in proportionate way for achieving proper sedimentation of water at all time at pump houses as directed by competent authority for better sedimentation process at pump house complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only unslaked lime Ca (OH)₂ in poly bag/container of 9 Kg of approved quality with water in proportionate way for achieving proper sedimentation of water at all time at pump houses as directed by competent authority for better purification/sedimentation process at pump house complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only bleaching powder of approved quality for cleaning/washing the balancing tank, areation tower during decaning/refilling with fresh water at an interval as directed for better cleanleness of balancing tank/areation tower or at other indicated places complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Calcium based High strength Chlorination chemical (chlorine contents not less than 65%) with water in proportionate way for maintaining adequate chlorine at all time at Pump Houses as directed by competent authority for water disinfection at pump house complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying 3 layered PPR (Polypropylene Random Copolymer) pipes, ISI marked, PN-16, SDR 7.4 UV stabilised and anti-microbial fusion welded having thermal stability for hot and cold water supply including all PPR plain and brass threaded polypropylene random fittings (such as bends, elbows, tees, short pieces, connectors, back-nuts capps, plugs, unions, etc.) laying in trenches/floors/ducts or fixing to walls, etc. of following sizes including taking down old pipe and fitting also cutting of pipes as required complete all as specified and as directed:-

Taking sample of raw water and tap water from pump houses and getting tested from Directorate of PHED office/Govt authorised Lab for physical/chemical /bacterelogical analysis. Report shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) Water sample will be collected from pump house No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 by the contractor . (ii) No extra cost for testing and transportation shall be paid but quoted rate shall be all inclusive.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of exposed pipes laid horizontally at pump houses not exc. 100mm dia by scrapping with mild steel wire brush and sand papering to remove all the loose paint, sludges, rust, etc. and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.. Note : The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ
