SPL REPAIR/ RENOVATION OF INTERNAL ROADS OF KB NO 2 GOLCONDA UNDER GE GOLCONDA HYDERABAD

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat @ 5kg/10sqm, putting in premixed bituminous mecadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10sqm, blinded with 0.09cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 sqm and exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm deep all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a primimg/ tack coat with bituminous primer using 5 kg/ 10 sqm using paving bitumen overbituminous surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bag to remove loose dirts etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using paving bitumen @ 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m using paving bitumen VG 30 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total mix, mixed in plant and laid with paver/ rolled and compacted by using power vibrator roller 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. Note: For design purpose min. binder content is specified as 5.5% for VG-30 grade bitumen and it shall not reduce under any circumstances. During design stage if binder content exceeds 5.5% no extra payment shall be made to contractor for excess use of binder.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam n.exc 75mm thick with bitumen content @ 4% total weight of mix laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber paving bitumen complete as as specified and directed.

M&L for moorum/red bajri filling in berm or pavings, laid in layers n.exc.15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F road studs (cat eye) two way reflective type of min size 100x100x25 mm (min size) made of ABS material, scratch and abrasion resistant, micro plastic, temperature resitant body fixed on bituminous /concrete surfaces of approved make by GE all as directed.

M&L for providing average 2.50 mm thickness reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (white and yellow) 10cm width or grith including lines, dashes, arrows etc in centre line/Edge line/zebra crossings etc incl providing drop on glass beads @ 0.25kg/sqm using hot thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator, on road surface made free of all dirt, scales, oil grease, foreign materials, etc. all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete unreinforced in below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

M&L flooring which include the following. (i) M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floor with grey cement and no pigment all as specified and directed. (ii) M&L screed bed or bedding layer of motor 20mm thick in CM (1:4) for laying floor tiles all as specified and directed. (iii) M&L for 7.5cm thick PCC (1:4:8) type C-2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in sub base finished even and smooth without using extra cement over and including complete all as specified and directed.
