Excavation in trenches in foul position n.exc 1.5m width and n.exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified.

Removal of excavated material to a distance exceeding 1.50 Km and not exceeding 5.00 Km and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate)as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Providing cement concrete type C1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and as directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel of 30cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred / stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 21 :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

(b) Cost of scaffolding required deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.

Supply Only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) Type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping including necessary form work finished fair and even surface without using extra cement including weathering slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified and as directed.

Blocking up the entry of septic tank of the following capacities and pumping out effluent dirty liquid and solid sludge from septic tank including intercepting chambers etc up to bottom collecting sludge and cleaning the septic tank line for reuse and removing the sludge out side to MoD Land and depositing the sludge where directed by local municipal authorities complete all as specified.

Note for item No 26 to 32 :- The unit rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive for the following :-

(a) Solid sludge means bulky mass of sludge which remains at the bottom of septic tank/soakage well after pumping out/taking out sludge water. Dewatering efflorecents from septic tank/ soak well etc in nearest drain by means of 7.5 HP non clogging diesel driven pump.

(b) Contractors are advised to ascertain the place suitable/earmarked for disposal of sludge/sewage water from local municipality or area controlling authority before quoting their rates. Disposal of waste at suitable place shall be sole responsibility of contractors and no representation or objection in this regard will be entertained at later stage.

(c) The rate included for excavation of borrow pits for burying of removed sludge under the ground, retuning filling & ramming to making good the excavated earth to a true surfaces.

(d) Removing of accumulated earth around septic tank up to 3 m of any width and depth up to 30 cm. cleaning/cutting the grass around septic tank up to 3 m and removing the grass waste to outside MD land. Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be carefully filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

(e) The complaints to be rectified within SIX hours on same day. The Delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day.

(f) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

Demolition of reinforced concrete of any description and in any position complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Precast RCC 1:2:4, Type B–1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in landings, cover slabs [for manholes etc], chullah hoods, Chajjas, water troughs, mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces including formwork, set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F High strength corrosion resistant TMT bars of Grade Fe–500D of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified.

M&L Salt-glazed stoneware drain pipes, 200 mm bore, laid in trenches and jointed as specified, complete including taking down existing damaged pipe,of any size including damaged haunching/ bed concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Brickwork/stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar all as specified.

M&L Fly ash Brick work with modular bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Description all as per item No 48 here in above but except bricks. Note:Serviceable bricks obtained from Sl item No 47 be reused.

Note for Item No 48 & 49 :- (a) Fly ash bricks shall be burnt clay flyash building bricks as per IS- 13757.

(b) The rates for work curved or polygonal on plan include for all extra cutting and extra waste in the body of the work. It shall be measured as mean length of wall.

(c) Sinking of steining shall be measured separately under relavent item. Well curbs, tie-rods, etc. shall be measured under the appropriate item.

(d) bricks shall be of class designation 75 (Kgf/cm).

(e) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for all scaffolding, ladders, plant and templates required

(f) Exposed faces of brick work shall be fair.

(g) Exposed faces shall be facing with best bricks

(h) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for Plumb to angles

(j) Forming reveals to jambs where fair cutting on exposed faces shall not be involved

(k) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for preparing tops and sides of existing walls and the like for raising and extending

(l) Building in vertical seismic reinforcement at the jambs of openings, corners of walls, etc.shall be grouting in cement mortar 1:4

M&L Cleaning/ clearing of sewage line (including manholes) above 150 mm dia up to and including 300 mm dia main line from 1st manhole onwards bore of any description, underground at any depth, removing any type of blockage including desludging, descaling & decoking of drain as well as manholes with combined high pressure water jetting cum suction (vaccum) type machine mounted on LCV/HCV /LMV/HMV and having facilities of high pressure vaccum and provn of hydraulic through high pressure thermo plastic fibre based water jetting hose and conical round shape nozzle pipe and flushing after cleaning including removing the same out side MD land and deposit where the place marked by the local municipality, all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

Cleaning of blockages from water closets in ground floors/upper floor including re-fixing of lid of door bends etc in position after completion of job all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 63 to 65 :-The unit quoted rate is deemed to be included for the following :-

(a) Cutting and filling shall be cleared of shrubs, vegetation, grass bush, weed, trees and sapling not exceeding 30 cm in girth, measured at a height of two metre above ground level. Cutting the grass/felling of trees shall include digging out roots up to 60 cm below the ground level or 14 cm below the formation level, whichever is lower. All holes and hollows formed in the ground digging out of roots shall be made good carefully by filled up with moorum/red bajri well rammed and levelled.

(b) Safaiwala shall report to concerned JE /AGE B&R in service centre daily including Sunday and holiday and get the job card for carrying out the work. The Job card shall be returned to concerned JE/AGE duly signed by the users as a token of completion of job.

(c) Cleaning, removal of silts/wastage of organic or inorganic materials of Sewage line of 100mm to 450mm bore up to 1st manhole, in between manholes, GT Chamber, etc to maintain sewage system functional all working days including Sundays and holidays along with necessary T&P i.e flexible rods, cleaning pumps and safety kits etc.

(d) The complaints to be rectified within six hours on same day. The Delay in rectification of complaint more than Six hours, the penalty will be levied @ Rs.100.00 Per complaint/ day.

(e) In case the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within a period of 6 hrs then the same shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the completion of the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC.

M&L Grating doom 125mm dia with waste hole of PTMT (minimum weight 40gms) including taking down existing damaged one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L PVC (SWR) floor trap 75mm dia of outlet pipe, plain with grating including jointing with solvent cement including taking down existing damaged one complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Joist, channel, angles or tee sections fixed independently, without connection plates Fe-290 Gde E-165 etc all as specified and as directed

M&L Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted , bolted or welded attachment.(Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Stack clamps made out of 50 mm x 3 mm flat iron and 16 mm dia round iron stays, including bolts and nuts and securing ends of stays to wall or roof for 75 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description exc 10cm width or girth complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 81:- (a) Synthetic enamel paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L Low density polyethylene (LDPE) pipes 32 mm bore of pressure rating 6 kgf/sqcm for sink/ wash basin including taking down existing pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good pipe and rendering cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete (1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate) smooth finished and reforming benching as required 150mm internal bore, complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 92 to 94:- (a) The night soil, other sediments, solid waste, and liquid waste in any condition removed from septic tank shall be taken away from respective vicinities and NB(K) premises on closed containers/ conveyance and disposed off out of defence land.

(b) Disposal of the same shall be the responsibility of the contractor with out any extra expenditure to Government. Disposal of waste shall be made in accordance with the regulations of authorities concerned.

(c) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of cleaning the neared MH & sewage line from that MH to septic tank as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

(d) Disposal of refuse including liquid removed from septic tank/manhole shall be the responsibility of the tenderer and nothing extra shall be paid/claim on this account. Disposal shall be made in accordance with the regulations of civil authorities.
