M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick or concrete surfaces with cement mortar 1:4 mixed with liquid water proofing compound @ 0.25% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer instruction and finishing the surface even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. (i) Complete removal of the existing water proofing treatment with and including demolition of padding and removing of debris from premises and cleaning roof surfaces by brushing etc and washing down with water and removing dirt, dust etc complete (ii) Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, lime terracing or cement concrete, including flashings and junction of parapets, etc., and surface painting, with a layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sq. m, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cu.m per sq.m, and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc., shall be added to the roof area) (iiii) Supply and Laying, chicken wire mesh of size 12.5 mm x 0.51 mm (24 SWG) hexagonal construction including all laps, cutting and waste in fabric reinforcement to PCC roof padding including providing 40 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0using 12.5 mm graded aggregates as in roof padding. (iv) Providing 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:3), mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions, on concrete surface of roofs or terracing and finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement. (iv) Waterproofing treatment over smooth finished surfaces after application of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sq M, providing and laying APP polymer, modified, non-woven polyester fabric of 150 grams/square metre, reinforced membrane, 3.00 mm thick, weighing 3.50 Kg / Sq M, by torch on application method, with minimum 75 mm overlap on longitudinal direction and 100 mm overlap on the transverse direction as per manufacturer,s instructions complete all as specified and directed.

(Manufacturer name of chemical shall be : Fosroc/Sika/Pidilite/BASAF) The cost of entire operation shall be carried out by approved manufacturers or their authorized applicator and deemed to be included in unit rate).

Rate quoated above items item no.01 to 88 here in before inclusive provision as under :Making arrangement for establishment of centralized complaint centre in the existing building as under :- (a) Infrastructure required in Complaint cell i.e. Computer, printer, telephone, furniture, stationary, transport and other necessary items/materials to establish a new complaint centre able to receive and manage complaints from the users by all means ie Manual complaint mechanism, Telephonic complaints mechanism, SMS complaint Mechanism and e-mail complaint mechanism, online complaint mechanism and to maintain a consolidated list of complaints and its redressal mode indicating all its relevant data. (b) Computer data operator shall be able to manage all the necessary activities and having computer related minimum 01 year certificate course computer application and 01 years experience in relevent field. (c) Provision and maintenance of all tools, plants, equipment and safety gear required for tradesmen under this contract (d) Provision of communication facilities to supervisor and tradesmen. (e) Monitoring and management of complaints report from generation to execution of complaint including pending complaints. (f) Updating status of lodged complaints before change of eight hour shift. (g) Provision of motorized conveyance for deployment to all tradesmen under this contract. (h) Basic inputs to be noted from the complainants will be locality, Building No, Qtr No, Name and Rank of complaint and exact nature of complaint and mobile No/ telephone (j) MES may provide software for generation of complaints. However operation entry, printout and releated activities wrt complaint regisrty and redressal will be the resposibiity of the contractor. On lodging the complaint, the Complaint No will be assigned for reference . Also system should indicate an approximate time for repairs. Accordingly a corresponding complaint slip shall be generated by the system with all relevant info. Complaint slip should be printed in triplicate and to be handed over immediately to Supervisor who shall detail appropriate tradesmen for repair with required materials/store. One copy of complaint shall be retained in complaint centre and two copies with tradesmen.

(k) On both copies of complaint slip, status of the complaint attended shall be endorsed by the complaint/user. One copy to be retained by the complainant and second copy to be with tradesmen for handing over in the complaint centre. Reasons for non attending of complaint etc shall be recorded alongwith estimate of expected time to attend and rectifying the complaint. (l) At the end of each day, summary of complaints shall be prepared and generated indicating No of complaints lodged, attended in time, Reasons for not attending , probable time required for attending the pending complaints etc (m) JE in charge of MES will review the complaints recorded in the system daily and will carry out personal inspection of complaints attended and its status and will take remedial measures in this regard. Note :- Contractor shall be responsible for followings :- (i) Installation of landline telephone connection with internet broadband facility, obtaining SIM cards for mobile phones for supervisor and workers, deployed by the contractor. (ii) Implementation of Bio-metric system for attendance of supervisors and workers, deployed by the contractor. (iiii) Payment of telephone bills, internet charges, mobile bills, expenses etc shall be borne by the contractor and no claim whatsoever on this account will be admissible by the department. (iv) Contractor must maintain a stock of 30% of total qty as catered in CA or 40% of balance qty of the item as catered in CA (during currency of contract) at the MES B/R Complaint Cell. If the contractor not provided said above estabilishment recovery shall be made at par of Market rate from his due payment or security deposit. However no ‘Advance on Account’ against this provision as material laying at site shall be admissible.
