M&L for surface excavation in Hard / dense soil not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out complete all as specifioed and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavating in hard /dense soil in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc or for shafts, wells, cesspit, manholes, pier holes, etc. and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 , using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in foundation filling and mass concrete or in sub base to floor , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in charge

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in charge

Removing the excavated material (soil) exc 500 m and n exc 1.5 Km and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.50 m above the starting point , complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry type C1 1:3:6 with solid blocks, exc.10 cm in width and set in mortar 1:6, complete including demolition of brickwork or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches,pillars,etc for ashlar facings, dressed stone work, precast concrete articles and precast concrete block walling complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Providing, PCC type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs not provided for in Item 04028, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, and including necessary formwork as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick C:M 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spead and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to true surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L 100mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8, type D-2, (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4, type B–1, (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in floor surfeces complete all as specified and directed.

Forming 12mm thick & 75mm deep expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compund Grade A in concrete slab, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
