CLEANING AND MAINT OF SEWAGE LINE, MANHOLE, SEPTIC TANK AND SOAKAGE WELL IN ZONE B AT SUNJUWAN UNDER GE JAMMU

Cleaning of sewage line, horizontal or vertical of dia 75 mm to 150 mm by rodding, well flushing using adequate / sufficient water and making it clear for smooth flow sewage from WC / NT / SNT / FT (at any floor to 1st manhole outside building) including desludging the 1st manhole and cleaning to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge and removing the sludge to a distance outside of MOD land from site; resetting the manhole cover and making the area neat and clean complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (i) For the purpose of payment, cleaning of sewage lines and upto including 1st manhole shall be measured as one job. (ii) The contractor will employ two safaiwalas alongwith necessary T&P on all working days for the period of contract for attending the sewage related complaints for buildings where machine cannot be reached. The compliants will be collected by the contractor or his accredited representative on all working days from B/R complaint cell. Complaints will be got signed by the authorised users representatives and will be returned to B/R complaint cell after completion of the complaint. No complaint shall be kept pending or unattended for more than 24 hours.

Cleaning of existing drain pipes upto and including 200mm dia at any depth as required at site from manhole and well finishing after cleaning including getting out sludge if any and liquid materials from connecting manholes. The cleaning shall be carried out with mechanised operation by means of diesel / electric operated vehicle mounted hydraulic operated high pressure suction - cum - jetting machines fitted with pump of required requisite capacity and the sludge sucked out with Super Succer Machine of required capacity and sent to storage tanks for further disposal to the authorised disposal site. The sludge deposited in sewage line shall be fully cleaned and disposed off the same outide the MOD land at any distance and without any additional cost to the Govt. The job shall be carried out with safety precaution equipment and with strict supervision complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of septic tanks of capacity upto and including 25 users to 500 users by removing sludge and sludge water by pumping or manually or by any means and the sludge/sludge water is to be disposed off in covered containers to a distance exceeding 2 Kms outside the peripherry of defence land including taking off and refixing manhole covers complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes: - For Serial No 2.00 to 3.00 (i) The sewage line is required to be cleaned by using water jetting machine as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall deem to be included of this provision and no extra claim on this account shall be entertained by the department. Jetting machine will be compulsory minimum three times a week otherwise one day recovery of Rs. 10,000/- will be deducted from the payment due to the Contractor. (ii) Contractor during the mechanized operation shall be equipped with gas monitor, nylon rope ladder, torch light and compressor blower etc along with the sewage cleaning truck mounted suction / jetting machine. (iii) Manual cleaning operation / Scavenging is prohibited. (iv) The unit rate quoted by the contractor shall interalia deemed into the cost of providing skilled driver and operator and supervising engineer including provn of water for jetting and removal of sludge / silt / liquid / mud and sand (in foul position) etc complete all as specified. (v) Contractor shall engage the above mentioned T&P and intimate to Engr-in-Charge in writing with machine No / Vehicle No etc for their record and prior approval. (vi) The T&P as and when brought by the contractor based on site requirement, the concerned site executive shall take a photograph of machine along with the supervising staff i.e. JE's and contractor's representatives etc and same shall be kept in record with date. (vii) Pucca bound register shall be maintained showing the machine no / vehicle no and their deployment at site mentioning time and date duly signed by concerned JE, Engr-in-Charge and contractor and the same register shall be produced while claiming the payment by the contractor.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth, for foundation etc. and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide, exceeding 1.5 m in depth and not exceeding 3 m, for foundation etc. and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour 150 mm bore / inner dia double wall corrugated HDPE pipes (SN-4) with integral socket and necessary fittings, laid in trenches jointed complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour PVC (SWR) type 'B' grade drain pipes of 100 mm internal dia laid in trenches on concrete bed and jointed complete all as specified and as directed. Note: - Excavation, Earth work and concrete bed shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and Labour plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 bed to 100 mm bore drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested in complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (salt glazed stoneware, AC or Reinforced concrete) of 200 mm dia, jointed in cement mortar and taking out from trenches and removing debris including concrete bed and haunching from the side outside cantt area complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour 200 mm bore / inner dia double wall corrugated HDPE pipes (SN-4) with integral socket and necessary fittings, laid in trenches jointed complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls etc including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, any description etc and removing off the rubbish outside of MOD land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition brickwork or stone boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour brickwork with sub class "B" bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed.

Description same as per Ser Item No 17.00 here-in-before but except bricks complete all as specified and as directed.
