Manning and operation of 02 nos of water Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant of capacity 500 LPH at ND Minicoy including operation of monoblock pump sets installed in shallow wells and pump house and carrying out its day to day and periodical maintenance such as chemicals dosing, TDS /ph measuring , monitor the readings of TDS/ph values, Voltage/Current in log books , replacement of minor spares such as gland packing,oil,grease etc. and responsible for pumping/distribution of RO plant treated water in each shift of eight hours daily (0900hrs to 1700 Hrs ) by employing 01 FGM per shift complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

The work envisaged under this contract are as follows:- (a) Cleaning the unit of the plant and tanks regularly,backwashing and dosing of chemicals time to time. (b) Operation and mainteance of the plant by employing qualified operator as required and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. (c) Regular maintenance of pumps such as oiling, greasing of motor shaft, pipes, minor rectification and replacement of minor parts such as nuts and bolts etc, pipes of small quantity , minor parts of pumps, electrical wiring, etc. Note : Cost of oil/grease/minor parts is deemed to be included in the coated rate (d) Cost of log book for recording plant operation, data/servicing for each plant/machineries are deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. Contractor shall provide required T&P and sefety gadgets (as per IE rules) to all technicians employed by him in order to minimise breakdown and offers smooth functioning of RO plant in the station

(e) All consumables and spares required to ensure efficient maintenance and operation of the plant shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items as supply only rates. (f) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes, cess, levies etc as applicable including GST. (g) The prevailing rate, wage, contribution etc shall be as appicable as on the bid submission end date. (h) In view of COVID-19 alerts various restrictive instructions issued concerned authorities from time to time. Hence additional precautions essential for the work shall be taken by the contractor by way of provisioning of masks, hand sanitizers gloves etc to workmen and all local instructions issued by the Concerned Authorities and Station Authorities shall be complied with all releveant safety precautions covere under Model Rules for the protection of health and sanitary arrangement for workmen(Annexure'C' ) of IAFW-2249) shall be strictly followed. Nothing extra is admissible on this account. (j) The contractor shall also deploy additional man power as relief against weekly off, leave, holidays etc all as per existing Labour Act and shall substitute the operator accordingly for which no extra payment admissible. The unit rate quoted against items in Schedule 'A'/BOQ shall be inclusive of this provision also. (k) The contractor shall pay the wages to the operator through e-payment i.e Aadhar linked bank accounts and Credit to their bank account. The wages shall not be less than prevailing minimum wages fixed by State Govt or Central Govt whichever is more.

(l) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the employees provident fund (EPF) to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all (as applicable) and necessary proof to this regard shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge for verification and records. The quoted rate shall be deemeed to be included of above provisions. In case contractor fails to produce the proof of EPF, he shall be liable for action as deemed fit. Decision of GE in this regard shall be final and binding. (m) It is responsibility of contractor to deposit the Bonus to the concerned authority as per the prevailing scales as laid down by the Ministry of labour for all. (n) It is resposibility of contractor to deposit the GST to the concerned department as per the prevailing rules. (o) Contractor can keep in mind while "quoting" Quoted rate incluides fair wages, EPF, Bonus, GST, LWC and contractor's profit. (p) The contractor shall maintain all the registers under various labour law rules, 2017 and shall be produced to GE and as well as officers detailed by labour department if requires.

Material and labour for comprehenssive maintenace and Complete servicing and periodic maintenance (ie once in three months / each quarter) of RO plant of capacity 500 LPH by replacing of filters and other components complete , to ensure the quality of RO water and proper operation of RO plant. Any minor spares required at the time of servicing is also deemed to included in the rate quoted by Contractor complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for complete servicing of High Pressure Pump/motor of RO plant by dismantling entire pump assembly, cleaning, servicing and replacement of damaged parts if any such as impeller/washer/bolt/connected parts in the pump and servicing of motor by dismantling, cleaning & varnishing of coil, rewinding , replacement of carbon brush and other parts, reassembling of the same, including testing and operation of pump to suit above RO plant for designed water output complete including its transportation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply only Hydrochloric acid complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only PH booster complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply only Liquid chlorine complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of 5 micron catridge filter suitable for existing make complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair RO sea water membrance as per manufacturers specification for 500 lph Membrane 5 with salt rejection 96-99% suitable for existing system and testing complete specification suitable for RO plant of capacity 500 LPH with input raw water having TDS mre than 6000 PPM complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair Manual Multiport valve Top/Side Mounted filter/softener suitable to fix in CPVC pipe line Ø40mm, Inlet/Outlet to vessel Top & Bottom 11/2 inch BSPM union ends, Max Operating pressure - 5Kg/Cm2, Max flow Service/Rinse/Backwash - 14m3/[email protected] Kg/cm2 pressure drop complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair pressure gauge [0-20 kg/cm2 or 0-300 PSI] or [0-7 kg/cm2 or 0-100 PSI] suitable for existing system complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair rotometer/flowmeter gauge (taking Sp gravity as 1.0) for indicating prodct flow or Rejection flow suitable for existing system complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in replacement of dosing pump with connecting pipes and FRP tank complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair 5 micron filter catridge housing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair LPS/HPS switch range -0.2 to 7.5 Bar, Diff 4-0.7 Bar with connecting pipe, metal connectors and wires complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fix in repair UV sterlizer suitable for existing system and testing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Material and labour for complete replacement of rapid sand filter media of RO plant including replacement of filter media, its rubber gaskets, nut bolts, filters and other parts as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Material and labour for Complete replacement of activated carbon filter media of RO plant including replacement of carbon filter media, its rubber gaskets, nut bolts, filters and other parts as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fix in repair RO membrane FRP pressure vessel, Operating Pressure - 600 psi suitable for existing system complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair end cap 'O'ring for 8040 membrane housing end cover complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair 1.5" Italian coupling with washer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair rubber gasket for sand and carbon filter of capacity 1500mm height x Ø 600mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair Control panel suitable for RO plant of capacity 500 LPH complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fix in repair raw water/treated water pump capacitor of specification [Raw water pump - 20MFD±5% SH, 440V, 50 Hz] or [45MFD±5% SH, 440V, 50 Hz] complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F in repair SS Ball Valve suitable to fix in CPVC pipe of dia 11/2 inch, Make - I-SON, pressure range 0-300 psig complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repair Star DOL Starter with relay range 9-15 Amps, Coil - 440V suitable for raw water pump, 3 phase, 415V, 50 Hz complete with sheet metal enclosure to be fixed in the existing panel complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for repairs to Centrigugal pumpset of capacity up to 2 HP such as rewinding , water seal,impeller,shaft,bearing etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
