REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION FOR MARRIED ACCOMMODATIONS AT AFS HAKIMPET UNDER GE(AF) HAKIMPET

Taking down/pulling the wire copper/ aluminum point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixtures and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, lamp holders etc removing materials and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc. including paint tuch up to match with the existing surface as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down existing unserviceable distribution board, switch fuse unit, enclosure for MCB / DB (inclusive of MCBs of any type and capacity) and making good the disturbed surface all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Taking down/pulling the wire existing old U/s submain wiring of any description /type size and removal of U/s material out of site and making good the disturbed surface of walls / ceiling so as to match with the existing finishes all as specified and as directed by the Engineer -in- charge .

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS insulated multistranded copper conductor ,1100 volts grade single core PVC insulated and unsheathed cable drawn in the existing concealed PVC conduit all as per site requirement including FRLS,PVC insulated and unsheathed cable with copper conductor cable of size 1.50 sqmm as earth conductor and pressed steel terminal boxes made out of 1.6mm thick MS sheet with sunk on wall for mounting, 60mm deep covered including laminated sheet cover 3mm thick laminated hylam sheet fixed with cadmium plated screws/PVC gang box fully enclosed type for mounting switches,sockets,fan regulator, etc including making good the disturbed surfaces of walls and paint tuch up to match with the existing surfaces as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

a) One light /exhaust fan/bell point controlled by one switch

b) One fan point controlled by one switch and one regulator

c) One 3 pin 5 Amps socket point controlled by one switch on same board

d) One 3 pin 5 Amps socket point controlled by one switch on independent board

All as per item No. 4 here-in-before but with 2.5 Sqmm for 3 pin 15 Amps socket point controlled by one switch on independent board and 2.5 Sqmm copper conductor green in colour as earth continuity conductor complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for point wiring with 1.5 sq.mm FRLS insulated multistranded copper conductor ,1100 volts grade single core PVC insulated and unsheathed cable drawn through and including PVC conduit/casing capping of suitable size but not less than 20 mm dia on surface of stone/concrete wall /roof etc all as per site requirement including FRLS,PVC insulated and unsheathed cable with copper conductor cable of size 1.50 sqmm as earth conductor as per proper colour coding and pressed steel terminal boxes made out of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet with sink into the wall for mounting, 60mm deep covered including laminated sheet cover 3mm thick laminated hylam sheet fixed with cadmium plated screws/PVC gang box fully enclosed type for mounting switches,sockets,fan regulator, etc including making good the disturbed surfaces of walls and paint tuch up to match with the existing surfaces as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in replacement of switch socket combination 2 in 1, 3 pin 6 Amps, flush type, universal ,240 volts complete all as specified and as directed

S & F in replacement of batten/angle holder, PVC/Polycarbonate type with back plate, 240 V , 50 Hz suitable for batten fittings complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of ceiling rose 6 A, 3 plate,PVC/polycarbonate ,insulated body 240 Volt , 50 Hz all as specified and as directed.

M&L for submain wiring alongwith earth wire with 3 x 4.0 Sqmm FRLS insulated, unsheathed, multistranded, 1100 Volts grade copper conductor cable single core, drawn through existing PVC Conduit in wall/roof surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Three runs of 4.0 Sqmm copper cable shall be measured as one unit length.

All as per item No. 18 here-in-before but with 3 x 6.0 sqmm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Three runs of 6.0 Sqmm copper cable shall be measured as one unit length.

M&L for submain wiring alongwith earth wire with 3 x 4.0 Sqmm FRLS PVC insulated, unsheathed, multistranded, 1100 Volts grade copper conductor cable single core, drawn through and including PVC Conduit and its all accessories of suitable size on wall/roof surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Three runs of 4.0 Sqmm copper cable and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit length.

All as per item No. 19 here-in-before but with 3 x 6.0 sqmm FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Three runs of 6.0 Sqmm copper cable and one run of PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit length.

Supply and fix distribution board double door type(for incoming MCCB & outgoing MCBs) TPN 4 way vertical type sheet steel powder painted with bus bar ,neutral link & earth bar etc. with IP 43 degree of protection flushing in wall including connecting up all incoming and outgoing cables/circuit wiring complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fix MCB distribution board single door type SPN 12 way sheet steel powder painted with bus bar ,neutral link & earth bar etc.with IP 43 degree of protection flushing in wall including connecting up all incoming and outgoing circuit complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 22 above but of SPN 8 way.

Supply and fix sheet metal powder painted double pole enclosure with a two pin and earth plug and socket flushing in wall including 20 Amps rated double pole MCB 10 KA, "C" curve complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F MCB Triple pole and Neutral (TPN) of capacity 63 Amps 415 volts ,breaking capacity 10 KA,'C' series ,fixed in proper position all as directed by the Engineer in charge .

Supply and fixing MCCB 100 Amp four pole 415 Volt , breaking capacity, 15 KA, with fixed thermal & magnetic setting complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of wall mounted LED batten fittings with extruded aluminium heat sink provided for efficient heat dissipation & integrated electronic driver for 22W/20W/18W LED (4ft) complete with all accessories including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Supply & fixing wall in replacement of mounted LED batten, with extruded aluminium heat sink provided for efficient heat dissipation & integrated electronic driver for 10W LED (2ft) complete with all accessories including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. S&F LED light fitting in replacement of ,10 watt bulk head luminaries complete with all accessories and including connecting up with twin core twisted gflexible copper conductor cable of suitable size complete all as specified and as directed.Make :- Havells Cat No HEXAFT10WLED857SSYMBOPC or equivalent in Phillips/CG.

Supply & fixing high efficacy recess luminaire in replacement of suitable for armstrong/grid ceiling/surface mounted with high brightness LEDs and PMMA extrured diffuser giving glare free light and good aesthetic appeal 18 W LED 6000K (1ft X 1ft) complete with all accessories including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Havells Cat No. PLANO2X2PLR24WLED840S or its equivalent in Philips/CG.

Supply & fixing in replacement of high efficacy recess luminaire suitable for surface mounting with high brightness 18 W LED 5700K complete with all accessories including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make :- Havells Cat No. ENDURANEOHESURFA CEDLS18WLED857S or its equivalent in Havells/CG.

Disconnecting ceiling fans of any sweep and from any height including electrical connections, bringing down, dismantling, opening up, cleaning internally and externally, overhauling by replacing unserviceable items such as split pins, bearings, bushes, copper flexible cord, cotter pins and check nuts etc, lubrication with approved lubricants, reassembling including replacement of worn-out /defective parts and refixing for smooth functioning and connecting cable from ceiling rose to fan including testing complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

(a) Capacitor 2.5 mfd capacity 240 volts. (Make ) : CAPCO/TIBCON

(b) Ball bearing of suitable size. (Make ) : NBC/SKF/TATA.

(c) Gun metal bush

(d) Copper flexible cord 3 core of size 23/00076

Description all as per Ser item No.36 above here before but exhaust fan /wall mounting fan/Padestal fan of sweep 230/300/375/450 mm complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in charge.

Notes for item No 36 & 37:- Replacement of unserviceable spare part required for servicing/overhaulingand rewinding of fans shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items after testing and commissioning vide relevent Item of this schedule.

Taking out burnt copper winding wire from fan, cleaning the rotor shaft properly and rewinding with new super enamelled copper winding wire as per existing size/ gauge including heating/ varnishing etc complete as per manufacturer's design for the following fans:-

(a) Ceiling fan of 1200/1400 mm sweep

(b) Exhaust fan of 230/300 mm sweep

S & F in replacement of louvers with suitable frame work and fixing arrangements for exhaust fan of any size sweep complete including removing the existing unserviceable one all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in replacement of flap cover with suitable frame work and fixing arrangements for exhaust fan of size 230/300/450 mm sweep complete including removing the existing unserviceable one all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking Down water heater (Electric Geyser) storage type of any make of 25 / 50 ltr capacity after disconnecting the existing electrical connection, water pipes and reassembling in all respects after replacing unserviceable parts/components and testing for proper working after repairs and refixing in the original place/position duly connecting up water supply and electric supply etc.complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Note :- Spare parts replaced shall be measured and paid separately vide 42(a) (b) (c) & (d) . However labour cost of replacement is deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Supply only the following parts in replacement of water heater (Electric Geyser) storage type of given make and size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in Chargre :-

(a) Thermostat suitable for 25/50 litre capacity . Make -sphare hot /bajaj/ditz/picco/usha /racold .

(b) Heating element 1500 watt 240 volts push/thread type circular/ triangular base for any make and type Make - bajaj / Racold

(c) Heating element 2000 watt push/thread type circular /triangular base suitable for any make and size. Make - bajaj / Racold

(d) Indicator bulb 240 V suitable for given make, type and model

S & F in replacement of pressure release valve suitable for 25/50 litre capacity geyser including taking out the existing unserviceable one all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Make -Sphare hot /bajaj/ditz/Picco/usha .

S & F in replacement of gasket rubber suitable for geyser of capacity 25/50 litre including taking out the existing unserviceable one complete all as specified.

S & F in replacement of non return valve gunmetal for 15 mm bore with suitable fittings.Make - Kirloskar / Leader /Kartar .

S & F in replacement of PVC connection 15 mm dia 450 mm long with PTMT nuts on both sides for cold water connection.

S & F in replacement of PVC connection 15 mm dia 450 mm long with PTMT nuts on both sides for hot water connection.

S & F in replacement of PVC insulated and PVS sheathed flexible Copper Cable 3 core x 4.0 Sq mm from Geysers to socket.

S & F in replacement of plug top 3 pin 6 Amps 240 volts. Make : Anchor/Leader/Havells.

Supply and fixing in rplacement of Weather proof flat twin core service cable size 16 Sq mm aluminium conductor PVC insulated and PVS sheathed.

Maintenace of solar water heater of capacity 200/300/500 Ltr Capacity and checking the FPC collector,tank insulation and flanges all defective to be replace and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacement of the following parts of solar water heater storage type of existing make and size complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in Chargre :-

(a) Aluminium dummy gascut

(b) EPDM Hole gascut

(c) Brass Flange

(d) Threaded Flange

S & F in replacement of apparatus plate (bottom plate in which element and thermostat are fixed) complete suitable for 50 ltr capacity geyser including taking out existing unserviceable one all as specified and directed.

Material and labour in replacement of earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 600mm x 600 mm x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connecting to GI wire 4mm dia as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel and earth strip protected by 15mm dia GI pipe medium grade and connected to distribution board/earthing test point all as shown in electircal plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I(2009) and testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The unit rate quoted shall also include for excavation, earth work in any type of soil, plain cement concrete 1:3:6 mix, Type C1 pit, 40mm thick RCC 1:2:4 mix type B1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bras @ 150mm C/C both ways, GI funnel with watering pipe, wire mesh, earth lead & protection pipe upto 7.50m long complete in addition to item No. 1(a) to (e) of preamble (Notes) under sub heading earthing, specified in SSR Part II.

Repairing/overhauling of TPN/SPN DBs of any size/type fixed on building wall incl cleaning with compressed air, tightening of all electric connection to the bus bar & switch gears , refixing of loosed doors with proper fixing & locking arrangement & necessary welding work as required and replacement of wornout/ burnt/rusted/ loose lugs , door lock, nut bolt,hing, washers,internal wiring with suitable size (minimum 1.5 sqmm) of PVC copper conductor wire ,repair to plaster work as require at site and including disconnection of all cable/ sub main from the bus bar and insulating the neked portion of Al conductor and re-connect the same after repair of panel and proper connection of main earth wire/lead with panel body using lugs complete all as specified and directed.
