Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5m deep for foundation of poles/stay/cable etc including getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches beyond 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 3 m deep for foundation of poles/stay etc including getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in depth.

Removing excavated material n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point.

M&L Sand cushioning to cable with dry fine sand in trenches 8 cm below the cable and 15 cm above the cable after laying complete all as specified. Note : Only punned thickness shall be measured.

M&L Bricks laid in trenches flat with width equal to length of brick for cable protection well burnt sub class 'B' laid across the cable complete all as specified.

M&L Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

M&L Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in coping including necessary formwork to poles etc complete all as specified.

S & F in repair of Pin type insulators porcelain, vitreous, white/ brown or green insulators including one galvanized MS spindle, two galvanized iron washer, GI nut of size 100 mm height and 65mm dia 1100 volts grade incl dismantling of old unsv complete all as specified .

S & F in repair of Shackle type insulators, porcelain, vitreous white/ brown or green including galvanised MS strips, bolt, nuts and washer of size 75mm height and 90mm dia, size of strap section 31x3mm and dia of 12 mm for working pressure 1100 volts grade incl dismantling of old unsv complete all as specified

M&L in repair of earth wire/guard cradle hexagonal/rectangular fabricated with 4mm dia galvanized mild steel, binding wire including dismantling of old unsv complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

M&L in repair of Aluminium conductors, reinforced (ACSR) conductor of any size for OH lines including stretching, binding wire ,jumpers, line taps etc including dismantling of old unsv complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing in repairs of damaged steel tubular swaged pole with cast iron base plate finial tapper plug, bolts nuts and screws and specified type 410-SP-31 ( 9 Mtr long) in truly vertical position 1.5 m length of pole above ground level shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in strips of 30 cm width, black and yellow alternatively and painting with two coats of aluminum paint over a coat of red oxide primer on rest part of pole and its connected parts complete all as specified laying 40mm GI pipe light grade for cable protection and fixing to existing pole with flat iron clamp 25x3mm including nuts bolts and washers etc complete including taking out old unserviceable pole complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L in repair of Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plate fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts in any shapes size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, and one under coat and one finished coat of aluminium paint incl dismantling of old unsv complete all as specified.

S & F in repair heavy duty PVC flat two core cable weather proof with aluminium solid conductor,1100 Volts grade 16 Sqmm 2 core for service wire pole or passing through pipe including all accessory etc complete all as specified.

S & F in repair heavy duty PVC flat two core cable weather proof with aluminium solid conductor, 1100 Volts grade 10 Sqmm 2 core for service wire pole or passing through pipe including all accessory etc complete all as specified.

Supply and replacement in repairs of danger notice board 1.6mm thick M.S sheet, vitreous enameled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bone in signal red colour and fixed with M.S clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for LT 20x15cm size. by replacing the unserviceable one.

S&F in repair 1100 volt grade heavy duty XLPE cable with PVC insulated aluminium conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanized steel strip or wire and overall PVC sheathed of size 35 Sqmm nominal cross section 3.5 core laid in trenches, fixed to pole or passing through pipes including all necessary clamps, nuts, bolts washers complete all as specified and directed. Note- Earth work and protection work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ.

Supply & fixing in replacement of junction box of size 250x200x150 mm made of MS Sheet 1.6mm thick, front door openable with fixing screw painting with two coats of synthetic enamel powder coated paint over a coat of red oxide including alumn bus bar 4 Nos of size 25x3mm mounted on epoxy based post insulators and drilled holes for connection including 01 Nos MCB SPN 20 Amps , 1 Nos MCBs 06 amps incl magnetic lock system all as required and fixed to poles using MS strip of size 32x6mm and nuts & bolts of required size all as required at site or directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cmx6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below normal ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level. connecting to the GI wire 4 mm dia by means of bolls, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron and earth wire protected by provision of GI light grade pipe 15mm bore including provision of concrete pit in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates with 40mm thick cover of RCC (1:2:4) reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) and frame of angle iron 25x25x6mm with lugs 02 Nos and handle of 6mm dia MS bar made to shape, GI medium grade 20mm bore pipe for watering , perforated at bottom. 1.75 metre long placed on top edge of earth plate. charcoal and common salt filling with fixing arrangement, funnel wire mesh and earth work in soft soil returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meters all as per electrical plate 3 of SSR-2009 Part-I and connecting to earth test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion. NOTE :- (i) Item of earthing includes cost of 7.5 m long GI wire of size 4 mm dia with protection pipe of 15mm dia GI medium grade. (ii) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing shall be re-done by the contractor at his own.
