Dismantling spoiled, unsound and damaged/ distressed plaster by scrapping with utmost care to expose reinforcement, cleaning the rusted reinforcement by rubbing with wire brushes or emery paper and disposal of debris out side MOD Land, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F hard drawn steel wire fabric n.exc 4 Kg/Sqm cut to lengths, bent to shape tying with and including mild steel wire, (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia as in reinforcement to the height of up to 14 M from ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down plants / vegetable growth etc from buildings by cutting /chiseling fully without disturbing structure up to height of 10.00 M from average ground level at different location and cleaning the surface neatly with wire brush to remove dust and other foreign particles and applying hydrochloric acid (HCL) on left over root portion and making good the distured surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on brick/stone surfaces or surfaces other than fair faces of brick work finished even and smooth without using extra cement, in patches complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for crack filling with approved crack filling compound (Crack seal of M/s Asian Paint or equivalent in Pidilite), crack thickness more than 3 mm; including opening of cracks, cleaning, and necessary scaffolding suitable for height upto 10.00 mtr from ground level complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4, in two layers (10mm thick backing coat and 5 mm thick finishing coat mixed with WPC) on other than fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished smooth and even without using extra cement complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured and paid seperately

M&L for 10 mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on concrete surfaces as in ceiling complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing old roof treatment of any description, any type including removal old Tar felt, screed bed and plastering etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Water proofing treatment on roof surfaces with APP modified membrane with non woven polyester reinforced, weight not less than 3 KG/SQM and thickness of membrane not less than 3mm (plain/ thermal insulation with white mineral/gravel finish on upper side of membrane as per site requirement as directed by Engr in Charge) uniformly embedded during manufacturing process laid in following sequence complete all as specified and directed.:- (a) Applying 10mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement on cleaned roof surface.(Plastering shall be measured and paid seperately under item No 20.00 here in after) After properly curing of the plaster, the roof will be tested for water tightening by ponding with water for seven days for any seepage/leakages, etc. If any seepage/leakage is observed the rectification will be carried out by pressure grouting under pressure of 5 Kg/sqcm using cement based grout. After the roof surface is repaired, the slab /roof will be again tested for water tightness before proceeding for further treatment. (Pounding test and pressure grouting shall be measured and paid seperately under item No 17.00 & 21.00 respectivelyhere in after) (b) Properly cleaning and drying of the plastered roof surfaces, parapets, gutters, drain mouths, etc for all foreign matters such as fungus, moss, dust, etc by wire brushing and dusting. Proper grooves shall be cut around CI drain outlets/pipes/chimney pipes and other similar situations to tuck in the treatment. (c) Applying a coat of hot bituminous primer 85/25 grade @ 1.2Kg/Sqm on the prepared surface till the surface is properly impregnated. (Primer shall be measured and paid seperately under item No 95.00 here in after) (d) Laying APP modified water proofing membrane with 100mm overlap in longitudinal direction and 100mm overlap in transverse direction sealed and bounded to the surface by torch application method. (e) All joints and changes in direction should be curved with cement mortar 1:3 with SBR latex @ 200ml per bag of cement and cured well before laying the membrane. A fillet of PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates shall be provided at all junctions of vertical and horizontal surfaces and wherever there is change of direction.

M&L for ponding test by filling 75 mm deep water over roof treatment by making necessary arrangement to fill the complete Roof slab at least for 72 hrs complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting grooves or chase in brick wall, 75 mm wide and 65 mm deep and including filling with cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as mentioned in Annex D of IS 16532: 2017, IS 16540: 2017 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 over RCC slab mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement or manufacturer instruction all as specified. (Note;- water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately as supply only)

M & L for cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 12.5 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate mixed with water proofing compound as levelling course of roof padding finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

(a) Surface Preparation :- Remove all loose and foreign materials, if any, by a wash with a jet of air / water. • Repair structural defects before application of ShaliCryl® 215. • Fill voids and undulation area with Polymer Mortar made out of ShaliSBR Latex, Water, Cement and Sand in the Ratio of 1:1:5:12.5. • Fill cracks up to 3 mm with PlastiSeal and cracks over 3 mm with PlastiSeal P after opening the crack to a “V” cut. • In case of any poor plaster surface in existence (for old building), remove the same and corrected with new cement : sand in the ratio of 1 : 4 admixed with ShaliPlast LW+ @ 200 ml / bag of cement. (b) Primer Application :- Apply ShaliPrime WB as Primer after dilution with potable water in the ratio 1:0.5 for a theoretical Coverage 8-10 m2 / L of the mix and allow it to dry for 3 – 4 hrs. post elimination of undulation, roughness of concrete, joint marks, Voids and any other surface correction. (c) Application of Material • Apply first coat of ShaliCryl® 215 over the primed surface @ 160 ml / m2 . Add maximum of 10% potable water by volume for the first coat only, if required, to have brushable consistency only. • Allow the applied coating to dry 6 – 8 hrs of application. • Apply second coat of ShaliCryl® 215 without dilution over dried first coat @ 140 ml / m2 and allow it to dry. • Do not undertake any further work over the coated area within 72 hrs of final coat. • A coat of 100 micron of ShaliCryl TC 100 will improve water / dust repellent property.

(d) A Security deposit @2.5% of the amount of treatment shall be deposited by the contractor for the entire guarantee period i.e. 5 yrs in the form of FDR in favour of GE. (e) During the guarantee period if exterior acrylic emulsion weather coat paint gets removed or becomes layered contractor shall rectify or replace (at his option) defective materials at his own expenses, when called upon in writing to do so by the GE. Condition 46 of IAFW-2249 (defects liability period) for the guarantee period shall be deemed amended accordingly for the work..

(c) A Guarantee of 5 yrs from the certified date of completion for the effectiveness of exterior acrylic emulsion weather coat paint shall be submitted by the manufacturer and contractor. (d) A Security deposit @2.5% of the amount of treatment shall be deposited by the contractor for the entire guarantee period i.e. 5 yrs in the form of FDR in favour of GE. (e) During the guarantee period if exterior acrylic emulsion weather coat paint gets removed or becomes layered contractor shall rectify or replace (at his option) defective materials at his own expenses, when called upon in writing to do so by the GE. Complete removal of existing treatment on walls (any number of layers) by scrapping with steel scrappers or any other means, and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper, white or tinted over one coat of white cement based putty (where required) all as specified and directed.Note - (i) Cement Putty shall be measured and paid separetely.(ii) Complete removal of existing surface to be carried out using mechanical scrappers and wiped clean with cotton cloth so that no dust/loose particles remain on the surface complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.(iii) Hairline cracks upto 3 mm thickness shall be filled with crack seal of M/s Asian Paint or equivalent as approved; quoted rate is deemed to include for this aspect.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of wall and applying two coat of oil emulsion distemper white/coloured over and including one coat of white cement based putty (where it is required) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Putty shall be measured and paid seperately under the relevent item
