M&L for minor repair and preparation of wooden surfaces by cleaning, scrapping and smoothing of surfaces with sand paper and applying melamine polish as per trade practice on the wooden furniture portion upto glossy finished acheived as per satisfaction of Engineer in charge for items 1.01 to 1.13:- Note :- Due care shall be taken while polishing the items to avoid any spots and spills on upholstry. contractor shall liable to replace the entire upholstry damaged during polishing.

Replacement of old & unserviceable tapestry and foam cushion along with supporting straps from sofa set single seater enthic. Note- foam shall be of 40 density best quality and tapestry cloth shall be provided of premium quality rate not less than Rs. 500 per meter as approved by Engineer in charge. Drag No TP.

S&F new foam cushion of 40-50 density duly covered with tapestry cloth. Note :- Rate of cushion cloth cover should not be less than Rs. 150 per meter. Drag No FD-272,281, FD/MAP-II/02.

Polishing description (for 3.01 to 3.09) : M&L preparation of wooden surfaces by cleaning and smoothing of surfaces with sand paper and applying one coat of French polish on the wooden part of furniture. Minor repair of tightening with fevicol/bamboo pins/ screws/nails shall be done before polishing & rate deemed included in quoted rates of the same.

REPAIRS TO CHARPOY GI HARD TOP (5.01 TO 5.06) Drag No FD-220(M) :- M&L for replacement of following parts all as specified and shown on drawings. Fixing and finishing shall be done in accordance with standard workmanship/ specification and as directed.

Removing existing unserviceable plywood/MDF board from charpoy GI Pipe and tightening of Charpoy frame, check nuts and elbow as required and Supply & fixing of new ply of size 1980X900x12 mm thick BWR grade ISI marked by providing 04 Nos of clits welded 2 on each short rail and 02 Nos of stiffner made of flat iron of size (40x05 x900 ) mm duly painted black and ply shall be fixed with 10 Nos of suitable round headed nut bolts and washer as approved in each charpoy through suitable drill machine holes of appropriate size complete all as directed by engineer in charge.

Removing of old long rail of Charpoy GI Pipe and supply and fix new long rail of 32mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly threaded both sides as required. Drg No FD-220 Note : 1. Old long rail as retrieved shall be used for converting short rail under item No 4.03 and charges for converting is included in unit rate of item. 2. GI pipe shall be arrange by the contractor and pipe shall be ISI marked.

Conversion of long rails of Charpoy GI Pipe (retrieved under item No 5.02) into short rail by cutting/finishing to shape and threading and replacing the same as required against unserviceable short rail. Drg No FD-220 Note : Old short rail retrieved shall be used for converting the leg under item No 4.04 and charges for converting is included in the unit rate of item.

Conversion of short rails (retrieved under item No 5.03) into leg rail by cutting/finishing to shape and threading and replacing the same as required against unserviceable short rail.Drg No FD-220.

Removing old elbow from charpoy and S&F 32mm bore medium grade GI elbow, 3 ways ISI marked complete all as directed.

Removing old check nut from charpoy and S&F new check nut 32mm bore, 6mm thick galvanised iron medium grade complete all as directed.
