Supply & Install, Errect, Test & Commissioning of silent Diesel Engine driven generating set, 415 Volts, 3 phase 4 wire with sound proof accoustic enclosure (confirming to latest CPCB norms) floor mounted with capacity of 250 KVA ( 200KW, 310 BHP) continuous rating coupled diesel engine dirven prime mover complete with relay panel and switch gears for automatic mains failure and with all accessories and common base plate frame as per IS standards, approved emission control standards with LLOP, HWT under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency protection, brushless alternator, standard control panel with co-related protections with engine, panel, fuel tank, anti vibration pads,PCC foundations as per manufacture instructions, exhaust piping complete with silencer, battery start with battery and battery charger complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The capacity of Generator set shall be net after all due derating factors as per relevant ISI standard. (ii) The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of first fill of lubricant oil and final successful acceptance test. (iii) The quoted rate shall deemed to be inclusive of 12 hours test run at site including of one hour on 10% overload In the presence of representative detailed by the Accepting Officer, all arrangements are to be made by the contractor for tests. (iv) Rate quoted shall be deemed to include for making necessary holes in walls and making good disturbed surfaces to original specification and connecting up all as specified and directed.

The following items shall deemed to be included in the rate Quoted for DG set:- (a) SEMI ROTARY PUMP :- Manually operated fuel pump for filling diesel in the tank of adequate capacity with inlet connection to the tank with 5 m flexible hose pipe of suitable size heavy duty for suction of diesel from barrel. (b) TOOLS KIT (i) Box type spanner set consisting of 12 spanner - 01 Set (ii) Spanner D/E ( 05 mm to 27 mm ) - 01 set (iii) Insulating cutting plier 8'' long - 01 No (c) Civil Works All civil works including PCC platform for mounting DG set and related to foundations including for AMFpanel foundation and equipments including making good and existing structure of disturbed during installation and commissioning of Genset. The depth of the foundation shall be minimum 300 mm with antivibration pads or as recommended by the manufacturer. Note : a) The contractor shall arrange for artificial load for testing for final testing of DG Set at site and the cost shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate. b) Testing of sound level shall be carried out at the site in presence of GE. c) DHPP for testing purpose shall be supplied by the contractors without any extra cost to Govt d) Hard standing 2 metres alround the DG Set enclosure and plat form shall be minimum of a height of 60 cms above normal ground level.

Alternator :- Standard design alternator rated at 250 KVA net output at site after considering derating as per site conditions at 0.8 (lag) power factor AC, 3 - phase 4 - wire 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM, self exicited self regulated screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brush less design with winding in pole faces, insulating class 'H' and voltage regulation of ± 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The alternator shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in ± 1% tolerace. The alternator shall be suitable for tropical climate and shall generally conform to IS-13364-2(1992). Diesel Engine: - Adequate capacity of Diesel engine suitable for 250KVA coupled drive independently above alternator and after considering derating as per site conditons after generating and reducing power consumed by accessories, directly coupled through flexible type coupling multi cylinder multi stroke direct injection, cold starting 1500 RPM, confirming IS 10002 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continuous running complete with standard accessories all as specified and required for safe handling and operation salient features of accessories shall be as under:- Make:KIRLOSKAR GREEN/GREAVES/CUMMINS/CATER PILLAR (i) Fly wheel with housing (ii) Cooling system :- Mounted radiator with fan & belts. (iii) Cooling Water pump: - Centrifugal type belt driven.

Exhaust System :- Exhaust System complete with exhaust piping of suitable dia as per manufacture standard with MS pipe light grade upto and away two metres height from top of enclosure including necessary angle iron frame supports from' floor to the bottom of exhaust pipe from the enclosure covered with mineral wool of thickness 50mm rapped with chicken wire mesh of size 2.25mm and aluminium sheet of 24 SWG complete with in the enclosure for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure. i) Exhaust gas turbo charger type ii) Exhaust manifold Silencer; Residential type

Generator Monitoring Panel : Comprising of following : (a) Gen set controller connected micro process integrated Generator set monitoring metering, governing, protection and control system with built in torque matched volts/Hz/overload controller with necessary hardware / software etc. (b) Engine protection for low lub oil pressure, high coolant temperature (alarm & shutdown) (c) Alternator protection parameters like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency ( alarm & shut down) (d) Relay drivers for remote annunciations (e) Cyclic cranking (f) Auto/manual start/ stop (g) Alternator trim adjustment from the front key pad (h) Operates within a temperature range 0- 50°C and humidity upto 95% (j) Remote monitoring capabilty through separate Interface modules (k) Genset metering parameters like lube oil pressure, coolant temperature, engine speed(rpm), run hours, DC voltage, 3 phase volts and 3 phase amperes, frequency, KW, KVA, power factor (l) Safety Controls : - Engine low lube oil pressure, high water temperature and over speeding of engine. Fuel Tank:- Outdoor type daily service fuel tank of capacity suitable for continuous 12 hours run made out of 3 mm thick (Heat Retradant) sheet top and bottom with caliberated level indicating arrangement, stop cock, drain plug, fuel pump of suitable capacity and connected pipe line shall be installed with in-built tank inside the accoustic encloser is inclusive of the cost of DG set and is as per manufacture design & specifications. AMF PANEL:- Auto Mains Failure (AMF) panel indoor type made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet,powder coated conforming to IEC-61439-122 totally enclosed dust and vermin proof with front and rear openings of 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 Wire, AC 50 Hz having copper bus bar of capacity 600 Amps required to carry current at 110% load of 250KVA DG set with three phase and half neutral colour coded, pre-wired with copper flexible cable, all as specified with the following accessories, control cable from Gen set to AMF panel :- i) MCCB 4 pole, 350 Amps, 415 volts, 35/36 KA, micro processor based with electrical contactor of capacity 350 Amps, 4 pole as per the specification of OEM for alternator (DG supply) - 01 No ii) MCCB 4 pole, 350 Amps, 415 volts, 35/36 KA,micro processor based with electrical contactors of capacity 350 Amps, 4 pole as per the specification of OEM for mains (Main supply) - 01 No Make of MCCB : L&T/ LEGRAND/ABB/Schneider Make of Contactor : L&T/ Schneider/C&S/HAVELLS

Acoustic enclosure: Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and shall be drop over housing type. It shall consist of acoustically treated panel housed In sheet steel shall provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure shall be custom built to suit conditions, with the following features:- i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. ii) Rugged in construction maintenance free and modular designs which facilitate easy at site. iii) 2 mm thick CRCA sheets shall be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathering action. High quality acoustic insulation materials shall be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absorption. Acoustic layers shall be supported by perforated sheets iv) Sheet metal components of the enclosure shall undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action. v) Special paint treatment with pure polyester powder / epoxy shall be provided for better weather resistance. vi) Well designed ventilation system shall be provided to pump up the heat in the chamber efficientlv. vii) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealent gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets shall be used. viii) Working space shall be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs.

ix) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable shall be incorporated in the enclosure as per the requirement. x) A see through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel shall be provided for monitoring the operation. xi) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinges fasteners etc shall be provided. xii) Deliverables. As per manufacturer Design 75 dB; @ 1 metre at 75% load under free field conditions.The temp Inside the enclosure shall be within as per manufacturers recommendations above ambient temp. xiii) The enclosure shall be provided with CFL/LED light fitting for Inside illumination xiv) The batteries shall be placed inside the enclosure beside the DG Set on a suitable inlsulated plat form. xv) The DG Set shall be provided with external Emergency stop push button. xvi) The accoustic enclosure parts shall be of powder coated after pre treat ment process. The powder coating shade shall be Genset Green. The base frame shall be painted with epoxy based black shade. Supply, lay, test and commissioning of XLPE insulated LT cable of size 240 sqmm, 3.5 core, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade including providing cable glands, cable lugs, caution tape indicating electric cable below etc., to suit the cable size and to be laid in trenches fixed along the poles bare or through pipes, laid under floor concealed in walls, encased in GI pipes etc.. complete all as directed. Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 M width and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil for laying of GI pipe / cable line complete all as specified

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering, and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick using soil complete all as specified

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and deposited at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above from the starting point complete all as specified

Supply and spreading dry, clean, natural river sand as in cushioning and covering UG cables in trenches all as specified and directed Note : punned thickness shall be measured for payment purpose

Supply and lay subclass 'B' old size bricks in trenches as protection for cable complete all as directed.

Material and Labour for cutting existing road/PCC of size 45cm x 60cm for taking out/laying of underground cable and including necessary earth work and refilling the same in layers well ramming including watering as required and matching with the existing surface with 200mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 and curing the same with wet gunny bags and removing debris to a distance not less than 50m complete all as directed.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtrs below ground level with the top edge of earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to and including galvanised iron earth strip of size 32x6 mm with GI medium grade protection pipe of 40 mm dia for earth electrode upto test point or upto 7.5 mtr whichever is less, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron including necessary excavation earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit (1:3:6) type C1 and RCC (1:2:4) type B1 as in cover of 40 mm thick with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 100mm c/c bothways, GI watering pipe 20 mm diamedium grade , wire mesh, funnel, lugs, charcoal, salt etc complete all as per electrical plate No. 3 or SSR Part-I complete all as specified and directed.
