16.01 SCHEDULE `A' PART-XVII MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS OF WORK (Note for items 17.00 to 60.00 The contractor shall quote his rate for each of these items separately. The estimated rate is left blank since the same is not prepriced by MES)

EXCAVATION & EARTHWORK

Removing excavated material or soil outside MD land depositing complete all as specified and as directed.

INTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION

Suppyling, installing, testing and commissioning of factory made Indoor type LT cubical panel board suitable for operation on 415 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire 50Hz supply system including bus bar chamber in centre ( vertically) and cable alley either side, outer shell shall be made out of 2 mm thick CRCA sheet duly powder coated coated siemens gray shade and completely weather, vermin & dust proof, adequate air ventilation at sides & back, outer door shall be provided with double door fix with hinges and locking arrangements etc suitable to accomodate the following mentioned fittings and inner shell shall be made out of 2mm thick CRCA sheet duly powder coated & compartmentalized for each control gear including front openable single door with half nob type locking, inlcuding provision for taking out incoming and outgoing cables duly marked with reveted letter plated of appropriate size for each feeder / block cable, danger board, detachable plate at bottom for cable entry etc including double compression type cable gland with bottom frame made out of angle iron 40mm x 40mm x 5mm and 600mm long 4 legs duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed surfaces grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates blocks of size 30cm x 30cm x 60cm and 100mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1 floor over and including 100mm thick sub base of brick hardcore extended 100mm on all sides below panel body with and including following accesories with provision for glass for taking reading of KWH Meter without opening door complete all as specified and directed :-

LIFTS

Supply, installation, testing, commissioning, putting into operation and final testing of automatic lift (MRL Type) complete in the shaft well and pit constructed including automatic rescue device(ARD), all standard equipments, accessories and control equipments as per manufacturer design complete all as specified and directed conforming to NBC/Statutory norms and fulfilling the following requirements:-

(xxv) Position of head room: Directly above the hoist-way (xxvi) Electric power supply: AC, 415V, 3phase, 50 Hz & AC, 230 V, 1 phase, 50 Hz, terminated in machine room (xxvii) Fire man switch: Fire man switch at machine room/terminal landing (xxviii) All car panel buttons and all floor switches must be with brail language as per lift act. (xxix) Audio visual indication in the lift car showing overloading shall be provided such that doors kept open till excess load removed. (xxx) Spring buffer/hydraulic buffers shall be provided.

(xxxi) Mechanical over speed governor, door key holes in the floor doors shall be provided. (xxxii) Lift machine hoisting arrangement in the lift head room and monkey ladder for lift pit should be provided by the lift agency, along with the other steel structure works, foundations for the machines etc. (xxxiii) In the hoist way fascia plate shall be provided. (xxxiv) Permanent writing in the lift head room and lift well with proper No. of light point, with fixtures, exhaust fan, plug point and 3 phase, 440V power supply shall be made available by the department in the lift shaft, head room or at desired level (xxxv) Car top safety barricade shall be provided.

(xxxvi) ARD (Automatic rescue device): Solid state inbuilt automatic rescue device (ARD) for automatic rescue passengers trapped in the lift car in between floors in the event of power failure.Automatic operation and immediate action in the event of mains failure capable to move the lift to the nearest landing, opens the automatic door of the lift car and floor. Sealed maintenance free battery backup with automatic charging unit and auto changeover device on main failure. Passenger Capacity (i) 8 Passenger (544Kg)

Note:- (i)Out of 02 Lift one lift will be used as fire lift and its specification will be as per fire lift specification issued by NBC and in normal circumstances all two lift will be used as passenger lift. STAND BY SUPPLY (DG SET)

Supply, erecting, testing and commissioning complete of manufacturer or OEM manufactured, static silent (Sound Proof enclosure) Diesel Engine Driven Generating Set capable of delivering 160 KVA, water cooled, 415 Volts (AC Three phase, 4 Wire system of supply), 50 HZ, at power factor 0.8 minimum. The DG Set shall consists of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator, through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with control panel standardized by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet , outlet return inlet oil arrangement, exhaust pipe complete and suitable for conditions prevalent at Kochi.

(Capacity of Engine, alternators shall be worked out taking all derating factors into consideration) including PCC foundation( of suitable size leaving at least 0.5 M all around for ease of movement and 0.5 M height), anti-vibration pads, including all features to comply with latest CPCB guidelines and Comprising of followings:-

(i) ENGINE(Prime Mover): Diesel Engine 1500 RPM, direct injection, 6 cylinders, four stroke, confirming to ISO3046/BS 5514, water cooled, naturally turbo charged, capable of giving adequate BHP to drive Alternator capable of delivering 160 KVA at outdoor atmospheric conditions at Fort Kochi, (Taking all derating factor into consideration), 12/24 Volt (as per manufacturer recommendations) electric battery start, complete with fly wheel all standard fittings/ fixtures as per manufacturer and including suitable panel with techometer, lub oil temperature, pressure gauge and frequency meters and also including self starter system, dynamo, fuel electric control panel with electronic governor (ECPG) and Engine protection system (Shut down, High water temperature, low lub oil, oil pressure, over speed etc) fuel tank and first fill of lub oil and other consumables etc complete all as specified and directed with the following:-

(ii) ALTERNATOR: Brushless AC alternator, 3 Phase, 415 Volt, 4 wire, rated for output of 200 KVA Minimum power factor 0.8, 1500 RPM, IP 23 Protection class enclosure, insulation Class "H", salient pole, revolving field, single bearing automatic voltage regulator coupled through flexible coupling with and to match the above engine. (iii) BASE PLATE: made out of structural steel as per manufacturers recommended design/specifications. (iv) AMF CONTROL PANEL: Factory made cubicle type floor mounted LT Panel board, indoor type, made out of MS angle not less than 40X40X5 mm, and 2 mm thick MS CRCA sheet, front opening type, protection class IP-54, duly powder coated after seven tank process with electrolytic grace copper bus bar of 400 Amps capacity for four poles, with all standard switchgear and protection, internal wiring of adequate size PVC insulated multistranded copper conductor cable etc and also consisting of followings complete all as specified and directed:-

(v) ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE: Sheet metal fabricated cope type silent enclosure manufactured on CNC machines as per CPCB norms and powder coated after seven tank process, the enclosure shall be designed for reducing the sound level to 75 DB (A) at a distance of 1 metre at 75 % load under field condition and ox, 70DB at 3 metre from Gen set when DG set is working at full load along with testing conformance, labeling certification etc as laid down in GSR No 371(E) dt 17 May 2002. (vi) Foundation/Plinth/Base: Shall be provided as per manufacturers recommendations, however minimum 0.5 metre Space should be available all around the Set and height of plinth shall not be less than 0.5 metre. (vii) External cubicle Diesel storage tank of capacity adequate for storage of diesel for 12 hours operation of Gen Set. (viii) MISC: Tool kit, Operation and Maintenance catalogue, spare part list, overhauling manuals, guarantee card etc shall be provided as per manufacturer's standard practices.

AVIATION OBSTRUCTION LIGHT

Supply and fix aviation obstruction LED integral aviation light of Philips make cat part No.919515810001 x LED-K2/RD, 240 volts with timer switch of Indoasian cat part No.SVL 188g and one 10A MCB SP, 230 Volts, fixed in sheet metal enclosure complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY

Supply and laying Ductile Iron Pressure Pipes, Centrifugally Cast [Spun], Class "K-9", of 150mm size, with Socket and Spigot ends, conforming to IS - 8329, in standard lengths, suitable for Push-On Rubber Gasket Jointing, with inside Cement Mortar Lining and Black Bitumen external coating, including taking down any description and any size of pipe complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation earth work and DI special shall be measured separately.

Material and labour for construction of Valve Chamber of size 900 X 900 X 900 mm internal size, suitable for Sluice Valve, with PCC 1:4:8, Type D2, using 40mm graded aggregate in foundation, 200 mm thick precast sement soncrete solid block masonry of 1:5:8, Type D5 graded stone aggregate in Cement Mortar 1:6, 40 mm thick PCC, 1:2:4, Type B1, using 20mm graded aggregate coping, rendering in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick including provision of Mild Steel Sheet Cover 3 mm thick with 40 X 40 X 6 mm size Angle Iron frame work embedded in concrete with suitable hinges and locking arrangements including two coat of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to steel surfaces and including necessary earth work excavation in any type of strata etc., removal of surplus spoil off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

(ii) The branch/make of the chlorination of chemical must be sealed in production and certified by Govt laboratory confirming compliance of specification suitable for drinking water with a declaration from the laboratory that from the technical strength, stability, health, safety and operation point of view, this product is used for drinking water applications for consumption by humans and the brand.make of calcium hypochlorite is suitable for drinking water chlorination and its sample has been tested by Govt Laboratory.
