Attending Complaints of locating the fault in LT line in OH/UG Line/cable by visual inspection recce of faulty area and repairs to the fault by means of replacement of Unservicible Jumpers / Fuse wires / Burnt lugs / MCCB/ Cable etc. inclusive o restringing of broken ACSR conductors/ Earth wire incl. taking out and relaying the same after defects rectification upto 5M length. Note : (i) Materials requried for fault repairs will be measured under relevant items included in BOQ. (ii) Contractor will depute the dedicated team, he will completely responsible for all the safety aspects of his team. No dispute regarding safety of person would be entertain later on. If any mishappening occures during rectifaction of fault in LT lines contractor will be fully liable to bear all the expenses of indls. Special Notes:- (a) Contractor will provide all set of T&P, communication device (Mobile Phone) to deployed persons/ electrician team as required for repair of LT Electrical switch gear system including safety equipment (Bamboo ladders, shorting rod, screw drivers, wire/cable cutters with blades, multi meters, cutting pliers, torch lights and rain coat etc.) for routine maintenance and protection of the trademan. (b) On intimation of any type of repair/maintenance work of LT switch gear incomer as well as out going feeder the contractor is responsible to locate the fault by the dedicated team comprising tradesman helpers required numbers as per the gravity /nature of the work involved to restore the power supply (not less than one electrician and one helper) and communicate with SBA on duty and getting permit card for working on LT lines and deposit the permit card after rectification of fault, all the activities shall be carried out within reasonable time as given by the Engr-in-Charge. (c) Contractor will provide necessary complaint slip, complaint boook & permit book, contractor will direct the instructions to indls for lodgging the complaints duly marked the location, time and date for earlier rectifications. (d) After getting the complaints, team deployed by the contractor will rectify the complaints within stipulated time i.e within 2 hours from the time of receiving of complaints. (e) Contractor should also provide a dedicated supervisor for collection of complaints from SBA, JE etc. He would be held responsible, in case complaints are not collected timely

M&L for Dismantling insulators any type, any size from LT poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for Dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc from LT poles and setting aside for re-use with in 50m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L pin type porcelain vitreous white/brown/green insulator including one galvanized mild steel spindle and two galvanized iron washer and nut complete suitable for 1100 V grade 100mm height 65mm dia.

M&L for shackle type porcelain vitreous, white brown or green insulator for working pressure 1.1 kv of size 75 mm height and 90 mm dia including galvanized mild steel straps of section 31 x 3 mm size 12 mm dia bolt nut and washers complete all as specified and directed .

M&L for Cross arms bracing supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shapes or sizes as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat,one under coat and one finishing coat of paint.

M&L for Dismantling of ACSR conductors after unbinding from insulators

Supply and fixing of ACSR conductor of various size as per site requirement to be drawn straight horizontal on over head lines on existing poles including binding with insulators. Weight of conductor shall be measured straight horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and calculating weight of conductor of size and length by adding 3% extra for sag ,jointing jumpers,etc complete all as specified and directed,

Supply and fix in replacmement LT spacer 02 way FIX type made out of PVC material and suitable to work on 1100 volts fixed between 02 conductors in any position along the LT line for any size of conductor along the feeder complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement LT spacer 05 way spiral type made out of PVC material and suitable to work on 1100 volts fixed between 05 conductors in any position along the LT line for any size of conductor along the feeder complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 10 sqmm 2 core worn out/ damaged / partially serviceable/unserviceable PVC insulated underground cable, armoured, heavy duty with aluminium conductors 1100 volt grade from trench including taking out unserviceable bricks,pipes etc testing of cable in the presence of Engr-in-charge to ascertain seviceability,seggregating serviceable and unserviceable cable and keeping in safe custody the serviceable portion for reuse, stocking serviceable bricks for reuse complete all as specified and directed (Note: Earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch 'A').

Restretching properly and tightening ACSR conductor including rebinding aftes straining the single conductor on LT pole of any size replacing of jumpers if necessary all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting vegetation and surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep including removing the materials to a distance not-exc 60 mtr complete. (Note :- Item shall be executed twice in each installation and quantity is given for two operation. However unit rate to be quoted by the tendered for single operation only)

M&L for triming of tree branches (touching HT/LT OH line)uptto 10cm girth at any height carefully taking shutdown including suitable disposal of cut of tree branches as in repair complete. Note:- tools & plants including safety measures equipments like belt,ladder & rops etc shall be arranged by the contractor at own cost.

Paint to existing steel tubular pole of any type complete with two coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint from bottom to top of the pole including MS clamps, brackets, nuts and bolts with black and yellow paint upto 1.5 mtr height from bottom alternaterely strip 30 cm each including providing pole number with white enamel paint and 100 mm dia (round) background of blue enamel paint at site complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fix in repairs erecting in true verticle position of steel tublar pole 9 Mtrs long complete with cast iron base plate finial taper plug bolt nuts and screws as as specified and of type 410 SP-31 conforming to relevent IS including two coats of aluminium paint over aone coat of red oxide primer to the full length of the pole and also two coats of bituminus paint inside outside of bottom portion upto 1.5 mtrs length and provide circular bend 32 mm dia 1 Nos of length 2 mtrs duly fixed with necessary clamp for mounting LED security light all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid separetaly.

Supply and erecting in replacement LT PCC pole 9 mtrs long cross sectional 102 mm x 172 mm at top and 102 x 79 mm at bottom class 10 complying of relevent IS and painting the pole upto 5 feet from the ground level with black and yellow alternate strip of 30 cm each with synthetic enamel paint incl removing of broken pole debris all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- after commissioning of new pole contractor would liable to connect all the ACSR conductor to the new pole including insulators and cross arms etc inclusive in this unit rate.(ii) Excavation and PCC shall be measured and paid separetaly.

M &l for PCC 1:4:8 TYPE D-2 using 40 mm graded broken stone aggregate as in mass concrete in foundations etc . complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded broken stone aggregate as in mass concrete in foundations etc complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping around the pole strut above ground level, foundation of stay etc. including neccassory form work and finishing the surface fair and even without using extra cement all as directed and specified

M & L in replacement for GI strip 32 x 6 mm as earth continuity lead beyond test point fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit pipe complete all as specified and directed.
