Periodical maintenance of DG set as per manufacturer recommendation of the following DG sets installed at various location and various capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) Checking the fanbelt , Fuel , Oil filter, Air Filter, FIP Performance,FIP Oillevel, Tappet Clearance, adjustment of fuel pump timing, tighting of base bolt nuts, battery distilled water level, vibration damper mounting, radiator, radiator hose, panel board cable connection tighting etc., (b) Service engineer report from authorised dealer shall be submitted for every check about the performance and maintenance of DG Sets (c) Highly skilled labours and tools for maintenance/checks repairs/replacement is deemed to be included in the rate quoated by the contractor (d) Replacement of spares , Coolant,Distilled water , Engine Oil, Fuel/Oil/Air filtershallbe measured under relevant items & Minor spares parts include in this item of nature (e) Mechanic , Supervisor and Maintenance Engineer must be skilled and must have knowledge of maintenance of DG Sets and attending minor and Major fault when it arise.

Disconnecting, removing and dismantling radiator assembly from the following capacity DG sets and descaling the radiator throughly with CTC solution/any other chemical solvent agent as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, stopping of leakeage at place to copper cores and tubes by brazing scapping the existing Oil paint, dusting and painting the radiator with enamelled paint etc re-installing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed.

Disconecting the existing battery of capacity 12V 92/100 AH from the DG Set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable sulphuric acid from the battery, filling up with new sulphuric acid to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG Set, start the engine for satisfactory function complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No.3 above but 12V,180AH

M&L for replacing the worn out carbon brushes slipring type in alternator of 7.5/20/30 KVA capacity DG set including all necessary connected works complete all as specified and directed.

Draining out the existing diesel from the tank from the following capacity DG Set , kept as side for repouring, taking down the complete fuel tank of any capacity from its position after disconnecting all the fuel lines, carryout cleaning work with solutions, removing the dust and foreign materials from the tank, drying the tank, blow with air painting and carry out recaliberation of diesel tank to the specified level including replacement of PVC level pipe, refix the tank in its original position, connecting all the removed fuel connections, refilling the kept diesel back to the tank carefully, remove air from the fuel connections, start the engine and test for satisfactory function complete all as specified and directed.

Replacement of flame proof asbestos rope of specified dia wrapped around the exhaust pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Attending of urgent complaints in any breakdown of standby DG sets upto 400 KVA and EOT Cranes at any location under GE Saugor, whenever required round the clock, rectify the fault and restore the standby supply within one hour after receipt of the complaint, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The cost of all kind of replaced defective parts / spares / control cards / oil / lubricants etc, as and when required to making the DG Set and EOT Cranes fully functional, will be measured and paid seperately under respective items only. (ii) The cost of all kind of minor parts / spares, other than mentioned in BOQ, as and when required to making the DG Set/EOT Cranes fully functional, is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect. (iii) If complaint is not attended by the contractor within two hour the penality as applicable shall be impossed on him. (iv) Contractor shall intimate the name of qualified machanic/ electrician and helpers those will attend the urgent breakdown. (v) All kind of transportation (to and fro) for all kind of necessary equipment/T&P shall be arranged/brought by contractor to complete the job at site or at workshop and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect. (vi) Complaints shall be lodged telephonically, so contractor has to give the telephone number of person who will receive the complaint round the clock.Normal defect rectification such as relay settings , loose wirings , oiling / greasing , sensor based settings included in this work . No separate cost will be paid against minor defect rectification.

Repair, maint and making the fully functioning of electric operated crane of cap 2 Ton to 4 ton after checking long travell motion , cross travel motion , hoisting motion (electrically and mechanically) in presence of user rep and MES rep & rectify any type of defects immediately when found including servicing, greasing, top up gear box oil & carrying out routine maintenance complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) any accessories found unserviceable that shall be replaced under respective items of this Sch. (ii) : Labor for lowering, mounting arrangement such as ladder , pulley block, rope system, T&P , any type nut, bolt, washers and other connected mechanism shall be contractor arrangement and rates are deemed to be included in this Job. No extra payment will be made to the contractor against lowering/lifting the spare etc at a height of 20' to 30' (iii) Repair/maint of each flame proof EOT crane of capacity 2 to 4 Ton for one times or as per complaint of EOT cranes in a month.

Dismantling the main driving shaft of forward/reverse drive of EOT crane after unscrewing nuts, bolts, washers including other connected accessories with shaft such as breaking assembly, coupling, bearings rings, gear box lowering down the smaller portion of shaft from up to 30' approximate height for removing and threading, repairing manufacturing cutting teeth keys one Nos bearing housing cabinet and replacement of one Nos tapper bearing welding of foundation rest pad making drills holes in rest pads matching with main foundation of trolly, cleaning, greasing and oiling of all the bearing, bearing housing, gear box etc complete for smooth functioning including providing nut, bolts with locking arrangement & washers of any type/size as site requirement complete including re-assembly with connected accessories after repair including carrying out necessary alignment of all the parts connected with shaft complete all as specified and directed. (Capacity of crane - 2 to 4 Ton )

Dismantling of micro -up and down drive arrangement of EOT crane after un-screwing L- key bolts/screws nuts, washers etc which includes gear box of micro drive main box of up -down drive, braking arrangements including dismantling of 3 set (3 pair) of micro coupling, micro-drive arrangement for under taking repair including getting down all as dismantled parts from existing platform at a minimum height about 20' to 30' approximately reassembling and re alignment all the parts complete including testing on load on both micro and main drive complete all as specified and directed. (capacity of Crane 2 to 4 Ton )

Dismantling/strip opening gear of micro main shaft drive for replacement of 2 Nos gun metal bushes having internal lining for oiling arrangement, replacement of all the nuts/bolts of bush side plate with L-key, bolts of size as per sample oiling/greasing of gear box including necessary cast iron repair to broken foundation which includes welding lathing and grinding complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in-charge. (Crane capacity 2 to 4 Ton )
