SPL REPAIRS TO ROAD INCL ROAD FURNITURE, INTERLOCKING AND CONNECTED ITEMS AT GURBAX VIHAR, ALBERT EKKA VIHAR AND UMRAO VIHAR UNDER GE GWALIOR

Scarifying or picking graveled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm each and depth exc. 50 mm but n. exc 100 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for WBM of 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) with coarse stone aggregate (trap or basalt stone) of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with power roller 8 to 12 Ton complete all as specified and directed by GE.

M&L for preparing surfaces of un-surfaced WBM by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10, @ 10 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous macadam with using paving bitumen VG-30, as 4 % of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for preparing old black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for laying Bituminous premix asphaltic Semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight to total mix using VG 30 paving bitumin by Mechanised paver rolled and compacted to required chamber and gradient complete & rolling to a smooth surface with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete (design mix) 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, with using paving bitumen VG-30 laid / spread uniformly by means of pavers over primed black top surfaces, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete with 8 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Filling of any pot holes (coming in the area to be re-carpeted) in the item not exc 30mm depth by material of premix asphaltic semi dense concrete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, with using paving bitumen VG-10, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder (paving bitumen VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L moorum /red bajri filling in floors or paving laid in layers n exc 15cm thick spread leveled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2 mm thick centre lines, stops lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10 CM wide or roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instructions completeall as specified and as directed.
