Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5m deep for laying of pipe, cable etc and getting out in soft/loose complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50 meter and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying bricks common brunt clay building bricks sub class B bricks laid across the cable width equal to length of brick for cable protection incl removing of old bricks complete all as specified and directed by Engr - in - Charge.

Supplying, filling in trenches, spreading, leveling sand cushioning 8 cm below cable and 15 cm above the cable for under ground cable complete all as specified & directed by Engr - in - Charge. (Note:- Punned depth of sand should be measured and paid)

M&L for draining out water from over head reservoir of 50000 Gln capacity , removing sludge deposited, scales and other impurities from inside the tank thoroughly by scrapping with wire brushes, broom stick to make the surfaces free from sludge deposit and impurities, cleaning & washing the surfaces with bleaching powder solution including rewashing with fresh water and writing letters /figures like “Tank cleaned on________(date) and Due date_____ boldly & prominently with thick synthetic enamel with height & width of letters/figures 15cm & 10cm respectively in prominent places of tank ,white washing inside and out side distemper colourcomplete OH Tank as directed.and also painting the all in comming , out going, over flow CI/DI water main including scarping out the old painting and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide with proper colour coading and marking complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Scafolding work shall be provided by contracter at own arrangement and cost of the same shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate. Photo graphs before cleaning & after cleaning painting shall be made and kept on record.)

M&L for writing letters or figures not exc 30 cm height and not exc 5 cm width each in block Roman, Italian or indian letters including suitable size stops, comma, arrows, brackets, dashes etc on walls, sign boards (black or yellow or as required base) including two coats of oil paint over a coat of white base synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.(Note:-letters will be measured and paid.cost of comma,stops,arrows,brackets will not be measured and paid and it will be deemed included in quoted unit rate )
