Construction of Road From Amkhalam to Morten under Special Grant to KAAC for the year 2024-25 (Length 2.00 Km)

Earth Work: Construction of Subgrade and Earthen Shoulders (Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table (300-2) (a), ( Including cost of testing of materials at site and laboratory as directed by the deptt.) (a) From private land (As per Annexure-1)

Earth Work: Excavation in soil in Hilly Area by manual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth with a lift upto 1.5 m and a lead upto 20 m as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1603,1 (Manual means should be use where machines cannot be deployed due to site condition) (As per Annexure- 4)

Pavement Work: Mix in Place Method (Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.) (ii)for grading ll Material (Qnty as per Annexure-1)

Pavement Work: Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, band packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-t 00 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening/binding materials lo fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical Specification Clause 405. Using stone screening Type-B 11.2 mm for Gr.□(Qnty as per Annexure-1)

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading 3 as per Technical Specification Clause 405.Using stone screening Type-B 11.2 mm for Gr.III (Qnty as per Annexure-1)

Prime coat Providing and applying primer coot with Bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of0.90- 1.2 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502. (Qnty as per Annexure-II)

Tack Coat Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503. (Qnty as per Annexure-II)

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.Case• l; By Manual Means (ii) Bitumen (S-65) (Qnty as per Annexure-II)
