VARIABLE PART

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade at all depths including ramming & shuttering etc. complete in a ll respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and direction of Site En gineer: 1:3:6 [1 cement : 3 coarse sand (Zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from n atural sources]

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including initial straightening of coiled/uncoiled bars, removal of loose rust, cutting, bending to correct size & shape, binding with 18 gauge G.I. wire at each intersection and placing at any position, at any height and depth complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directi on of Site Engineer. : Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more

Brickwork (Non Modular)-In foundation & plinth: Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7 .5 in foundation and plinth in :In CM 1:6 Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)

Demolishing brick work in cement mortar manually or by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of u nserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. [Notes: (1) Dismantling shall be allowed du ring day shift only & prior permission for the same shall be obtained. (2) Providing of necessary covers/ barricades around the work area shall be done prior to dismantling operations]

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.9 kg/10 sqm)

Painting with black anti-corrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on n ew work

Painting with aluminium paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new work

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new or old work

Clearing grass and removal of the rubbish up to a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

RCC Pipes (NP-2 Class, LD) : Providing and laying non-pressure NP-2 class (light duty) R.C.C. pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of 1200 mm dia. RCC pipe 1200 mm dia. R.C.C. pipe

Conducting soil resistivity survey at station locations as per specifications & instructions of Site Engineer/ Engineer in charge co mplete in all respect.(1 set of reading per grid size of 75 feet x 75 feet)

Lettering with black Japan paint of approved brand and manufacture. Note : Unit of measurement is considered EACH which is equal to per cm height per letter.

Measurement of earthing resistance in the station including transportation of earthing electrodes, cables etc. from stores to site, drawing the same into the ground at different points for measuring the earth resistance. The job includes the supply of connecting l eads, clamps etc. All complete with labour and materials as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. N OTE Measuring instruments to be supplied by the Owner.

EARTH STRIP / WIRE / ROPE / CABLE - Supply, installing and testing of earthing strip/wire/rope/cable for completely making the eart hing grid system by supplying, laying the GI / Cu strip and making all the necessary welding joints, connecting to the earthing elec trodes and existing earthing grid etc., complete as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Site engineer/Engineer-in-cha rge, including the cost of all labour, tools, materials, etc. complete in all respect: 40 mm X 5 mm G.I. earthing strip

Providing Earthing with bare stranded tinned copper flexible conductor including providing and connecting equipments with earth bus bar, supply and fixing of copper stranded wire of following sizes and making connection with equipment by means of GI bolts, nuts, w ashers, copper lugs etc. all complete with labour and materials as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (16 SQ. MM)

Providing Earthing with bare stranded tinned copper flexible conductor including providing and connecting equipments with earth bus bar, supply and fixing of copper stranded wire of following sizes and making connection with equipment by means of GI bolts, nuts, w ashers, copper lugs etc. all complete with labour and materials as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge (25 SQ. MM)

Riverting, sweating and soldering of copper / GI tape (with another copper / GI tape, base of the finial or any other metallic objec t) as required.

Supplying and laying 8 SWG GI earth wire at 0.50 m below ground level

Providing salt and charcoal for pipe earth electrode as required: 64 kg charcoal and 5 kg salt. Note: UoM EA is for a set of the above material.

Fixing of lightning conductor finial made of 24mm dia. 300mm copper tube / GI tube, having single prong at top, complete with base e tc. as required.

Providing earthing with copper plate as per IS: 3043 standard / drawing / specification with plate size 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm plate materials tinned copper plated with drilled hole at centre to receive 50 mm long 13 mm bolt, nut and double washer screwing system with copper tape/copper flexible. The tape/flexible shall be inside 1 1/2" dia GI pipe length from copper plate to the system to be earthed. The Plate shall be burried at a minimum depth of 4.5 Mtr below ground level on its edge and 2 Mtrs away from building/equip ment foundation and shallbe connected to the equipment. The size of the copper flexible shall be not less than 19 mm x 1.6 mm. The i tem includes labour and materials all complete (but without coke or charcoal and salt). Charcoal and salt cost will be paid seperate ly as extra.

Providing and laying medium quality, Class-B galvanised steel pipes of Tata / Jindal or approved equivalent make conforming to IS-1 239 [Part-I] in underground trenches, on steel, concrete or similar structures including cutting, threading, bending, supply & insta llation of supports, clamps, small iron structures, spacer, seats, plugs, bush, fittings / fixtures like bends, tees, nipples, reduc ers etc. all complete as per specification, drawing and direction of Engineer-in- charge. Item includes sealing of pipe ends & joint s with bushes and bitumen based fillings and such other miscellaneous works so as to make piping water tight. 80 mm diameter

Boring/ drilling bore well of required dia for casing/ strainer pipe, by suitable method prescribed in IS:2800 (Part-I), including collecting samples from different strata, preparing and submitting strata chart/ bore log, including hire & running charges of all e quipment, tools, plants & machineries required for the job, all complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, up to 90 metre depth below ground level : 400 mm diameter

Supplying, fabricating, erecting, placing and fixing in position M.S. structural works using rolled/ built up sections for truss, cl addings, bracings, purlins, supporting frames made of joists, tubes, pipes, channels, angles, plates, flats, bars etc. including cut ting to required size welding of joints, fixing anchor plates, including bolts, theading, nuts, washers, sleeves etc. including prep aration of detailed fabrication drawings & submission to the Engineer-in-Charge for approval before start of fabrication, supplying & applying painting with two coats of epoxy paint "EPILUX 155 High Build Enamel over a coat of "EPILUX 610" Primer of M/s BERGER or any other approved equivalent make as per manufacturer’s recommendation, complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, m aterials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Excluding the cost of concr ete work).

Supplying and placing in position 5.0 mm thick steel chequered plates over cable ducts, valve pits etc. including provision for lift ing arrangements complete in all respects inclusive of cost of all labour, materials, tools, tackles etc. as per drawings, specifica tions and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing bolts including nuts and washers complete.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of ACE (Artificial concept of earthing with chemical rod) Chemrod earthing electrode by digging earthing Item includes the supply and installation of the CI/RCC cover in the earth pit, backfilling etc. and constructi on of chamber; complete including excavation, backfilling and supply of all materials required for making earth pit as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Site Engineer, Including the cost of all labour, tools, materials etc. complete in all respect s.

Supply of PVC Insulated GI earth rope of 4.mm Diameter

Supply, laying,clamping and connecting individual equipment to the earth strip or earth plate with 1 C X 25 Sq. mm Flexible Copper PVC Insulated FRLS cable of Yellow/Green Colour, including supply of required lugs for connection at both end, crimping, all hardwa re for connections, Including all labour and materails, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of En gineer-in-charge.

Supply, laying,clamping and connecting individual equipment to the earth strip or earth plate with 1 C X 16 Sq. mm Flexible Aluminu m PVC Insulated FRLS cable of Yellow/Green Colour, including supply of required lugs for connection at both end, crimping, all hard ware for connections, Including all labour and materails, as per approved drawings, specifications of this tender and directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying of bentonite in earth pits as per the direction EiC.

Printing Flex Banner, transportation to site & pasting/fixing of the same as per the direction of EiC.
