Providing and fixing premium Aluminium-Zinc colour coated steel (galvalume) profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-charge) 0.50 mm (+ 0.05 %), total coated thickness with zinc coating 150 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 550 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns acrylic coating (Hexavalent / Trivalent) on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
Providing and fixing uPVC Gutter of aquastar Excel or equivalent of base width 220mm of weight not less than 1.3kg/ metre and capacity of 20 litre per minute including fixing brackets of steel or G.I. The outer side Gutter shall be 50-60mm height to prevent overflow during heavy rain and extra beading are provided on the sides to ensure strength and durability. Filling of cracks in internal/external walls with Sika cracksil Acrylic paste or Dr. fixit crack-X paste or equivalent (ready to use paste) prepare surface by cleaning the surface to remove any dirt or loose particle and widening the cracks 4 to 6 mm wide and 6mm deep moistering with water and applying Sika cracksil Acrylic paste or Dr. fixit primeseal or equivalent, & allow it set for 24 Hrs. and then apply another coat, making sure that crack is totally filled up tooling the surface to obtain an even smooth and unbroken surface and curing of the cracks for all lift as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and applying elastomeric polymer modified cementitious waterproofing treatment at the junctions of RCC beams, columns, slabs, etc. with fly ash brick masonry walls, for a minimum width of 200 mm on either side of the junction, including the following operations: Surface preparation- Preparing the surface by thoroughly cleaning the RCC and masonry surfaces to remove all loose mortar, dust, laitance, shuttering oil, grease, curing compounds, paint, etc. RCC surfaces shall be roughened by light hacking / wire brushing to provide proper mechanical key. Masonry joints shall be checked and any loose or weak mortar shall be removed. The surface shall be pre-wetted to SSD (Saturated Surface Dry) condition before application of coating. i) Application of first coat- Applying the first coat of approved elastomeric polymer modified cementitious waterproofing coating, mixed strictly as per manufacturer’s specifications, uniformly over the prepared surface for the specified width, using brush / trowel, ensuring full coverage without pinholes. ii) Fixing of glass fibre mesh- Immediately embedding alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh of minimum 45- 60 GSM, with mesh size approximately 4 mm × 4 mm, over the freshly applied first coat, ensuring proper alignment, overlap of not less than 50 mm at joints, and complete encapsulation of mesh without wrinkles or air pockets. iii) Application of second coat- Applying a second coat of elastomeric polymer modified cementitious waterproofing coating over the embedded mesh after initial setting of the first coat, fully covering the mesh and achieving a uniform, continuous and crack-bridging waterproofing layer. iv) Key formation for plaster-While the second coat is still green, lightly sprinkling clean coarse sand to create a mechanical key for subsequent plastering, or otherwise roughening the surface as per manufacturer’s recommendations. v) Curing- Curing the waterproofing treatment as per manufacturer’s instructions, including moist curing where specified, without damaging the coating. The rate shall include the cost of all materials, polymers, mesh, labour, scaffolding, tools and plants, surface preparation, curing, protection of adjoining surfaces, and all incidental operations required to complete the work in accordance with CPWD specifications, manufacturer’s recommendations, and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.
Applying protection layer of Single component polymer modified fairing coat of Sika (Sika Emaco N 303) or Fosroc or Equivalent make to provide an excellent resistance to freeze/ thaw action, carbonation, ingress of water borne salts such as chlorides etc.
Providing waterproofing treatment for vertical walls by applying one coat of water based synthetic dispersion primer made up of Sika or Fosroc or Equivalent make followed by two coats of acrylic based liquid membrane of Sika or Fosroc or Equivalent make, in which the first and the second coat shall be applied perpendicular to each other
